OP, I think someone may have a!ready mentioned, but alterations are surprisingly cheap and can turn an OK dress into a great one e.g they could sort the straps on that orange dress.

You've got a lovely figure & a lovely skin tone.
How about either of these?
You could wear the dress with a jacket over for the day & jacket off at night? The dress also has detachable straps. I have seen a pic of someone wearing the blazer as a dress too & that looked nice. I'll see if I can find a pic.

Pippin8 · 16/08/2016 20:20

I can't remember which celeb I saw in the blazer dress.
Anyway, what about these 2, second is more wedding-y.

I really like the jumpsuit from marks... Very chic!

Racheyg · 16/08/2016 21:29

** Sorry just finished a 1hr spin class.

just my mum shops there, even though the dress is very pretty I just don't think I can buy from there just yet Grin

I love all the tight pencil dresses ect but all my weight is round my belly and I cant wear
Body con. As much as I would love to as most of them dresses are stunning. Also as I'm 5ft 4 I have since found out midi length swamps me.

ginger I tried on the little mistress dress and oh said I looked like a school girl. Grin but that style usually suits me as it hides my jelly belly Smile but is still flattering

I know what you mean
I bought a dress from there a few years ago after seeing it online
I received so many compliments so when asked where it was from I just said a little boutique ....

Update.......
The embellished dressed looked good but if I have a couple of drinks I can tell the dress will be a nightmare but to heavy embellishment.

The beautiful asos dress pip Recommended look awful on me it clung to every lump and bump. Sad

Have you tried one size up? I'm not saying you're fat, but some dresses are cut on smaller size and having a bit of a 'swishy' look can be slimming. Super-tight dresses aren't slimming. Also 'ruching' around middle can hide a few bumps ( you don't have anything big to worry about!).

MagentaRose72 · 17/08/2016 21:04

Its not going to flatter anyone, quite frankly. You've got a nice figure and would look great in the right outfit.

OliviaBenson · 17/08/2016 21:56

I wore the oasis one to a wedding- so I'm not sure what your friend means.

Sorry to keep banging on about it but I think you should try it!

madmother1 · 17/08/2016 22:00

I've seen a lot of people wearing pretty floral dresses this year at weddings.

gingerbreadmanm · 17/08/2016 22:37

can u post a pic in the new look one? would control wear help with the asos one?

hollinhurst84 · 18/08/2016 02:27

Have you looked at collectif or lady v London?

Racheyg · 18/08/2016 06:32

ginger I've already bagged them up. I really loved the new look one but I would have been shedding sequins all night after a few drinks and tunes on the dance floor. Trust me no amount of controlled underwear would have helped. I let oh take a picture but I deleted it straight away as I was so appalled ( sounds very dramatic but I'm very self conscious about my tummy)

Sad as it sounds I can't buy anything else at the moment as I have over £200.00 waiting to be refunded into my a account until I can shop again.
