Summertime, and the livin' is easy...some of us are basking on beaches, others are managing the madness that is school's out but work goes on...either way we want to look chic in the heat while it lasts

Come tell us what you are wearing on these balmy days...it's friendly here Smile

Bullet Journal

shopafrolic · 31/08/2016 22:14

Prettier Bullet Journal stuff

QueenC1 · 31/08/2016 22:39

Ha ha blingy Grin.
one that sounds painful. Poor you.

I'm on antibiotics as something bit me on Monday night and now it's infected.

No fashion news-back to work today and wore navy blouse, navy trousers and pink sandals. My tan, sadly, is fading fast.

QueenC1 · 01/09/2016 08:23

Gap jeans are £25 today. Just ordered another skinny pair.

Stokey · 01/09/2016 08:55

Well done Blingy, we need to do that. I'm very bad at ignoring things I don't want to think about like bank statements, ISAs and wills. I have an awful habit of not opening any boring letters.

Wow Lib I didn't realise you'd decided to go, amazing but a bit daunting.

We're thinking about doing a big extension next year, definitely turning kitchen/ dining room into one, extending out to our patio and maybe making it two floor to get a 4th bedroom. I know some of you have done things recently so any inspiration sites much appreciated.

No fashion news but yesterday did feel a little autumnal. I wore my cropped jeans for the first time since school ended I think. Dd1 told me yesterday that her Croc sandals are the only shoes that fit her, so I think we're off to Clarks today.

libertydoddle · 01/09/2016 08:55

Happy September everybody - LOVE this time of year, fresh starts, autumn weather, crisp air in the mornings....

That is funny Blingy. We had some interesting conversations when we made our wills too....

Today I am wearing the same beige Uniqlo skirt, another green and cream striped t-shirt, leopard print loafers and this green, boxy cropped French Connection jacket I had forgotton about. All my stuff in my trusty Jaeger tote.

I am sure your tan still looks great QueenC Smile

Thanks shop. It looks interesting. I bet once you get used up doing it, it will become second nature. I do like a good 'things to do list' but this looks like it takes it one step further. Hope you find it useful.

blingy that is funny about the shoes and bags! Smile

Nice sunny day here though theres a definite Autumn feel to it. Working from home so just wearing an easy dress.

Drywhitethanks · 01/09/2016 17:20

Have just seen your link Bernice - thanks for that, will order in a minute. Has yours arrived yet? Feedback would be great - I have a feeling it will be far too long for me but will see.

One hope you feel better soon; (& Queen)am impressed with your clear out.

Lib how exciting now that you've decided to go although at first I did think shit, that's quick then noticed it's 2018 and not next year! Can't open pinterest from mnv atm (no idea why) but your outfit sounds lovely.

Blingy well done on returning all those dresses; are you sure you've not just kept 1? Wink Grin We got around to doing our wills last year - we thought it'd be really simple until the process started and were asked so many questions to which we'd not really given a moments thought Hmm

Nice shop Dry, am really liking the black block heels - that style is on my a/w wish, also thanks to Blingy

shopafrolic · 01/09/2016 20:04

On train on way back from London. Took DS to see the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum. Mooched round Covent Garden.
Bought some trousers in Massimo Dutti but need to try them with my existing wardrobe to see if they work. Will link tomorrow. Also paid a visit to Charlotte Tilbury and got an eye pencil and an eye brightener pen. Really knowledgeable staff.
Looked round Kurt Geiger but hated everything.
Then went to a fab old school hat shop called Laird Hatters and tried on the most fabulous red hat which I loved but it was £225!! Swiftly back on the shelf. Absolutely gorgeous though. Wish I'd taken a pic.

shopafrolic · 01/09/2016 20:08

hat

QueenC1 · 01/09/2016 20:24

Great hat shop. I love hats but never have the confidence to wear them unless it's on holiday or really cold. Does anyone here wear hats just for the hell of it?

lib exciting times although we will miss you. Big MU before you go. Have we figured a date for the big birthdays yet?

It's been a while since I've checked out the high end stores new in stuff so I'm going fantasy shopping so grab a cuppa/vino/gin...

First up, these for amber

It's not Sunday QueenC...love my stuff

shopafrolic · 01/09/2016 23:20

Meant to say I went to Cos on a trouser hunt too and everything finished at my shins - not a good look.

Drywhitethanks · 02/09/2016 08:36

Have woken up thinking I probably don't need the M and S animal print heels, would be better saving my money to put towards an outfit for my birthday Halo.........this is novel feeling

QueenC1 · 02/09/2016 09:02

What's happened to dry and blingy....you're both becoming sensible Grin

this jumper would be good for the winters amongst us. I'd be tempted if it wasnt v neck.

Last day of the holidays. Feel quite sad about it and determined to have a nice day despite the dc already bickering. Not helped by me feeling nauseous. Thinking I don't even want prosecco at book club later Shock

maradesbois · 02/09/2016 09:25

Morning,

Just popping in to say hello, back properly in a couple of weeks when thesis handed in. Banned by family from mentioning T-word, can hardly blame them am beyond bored with it myself! Grin

Dry great shop. Love the Blingy-inspired black low pointy Mary Janes too. Very you.

When I'm finished with T will start organising the next mu.

Am keeping all the Marant stuff I ordered from Outnet, all good for a/w.

QueenC I love hats, have a proper Panama on order via a friend who goes there for work. Have a big head with thick hair which can be a problem size wise but they make the panamas to measure.
