Last night of my holiday....have had such a great time. Love the heat. Dreading getting on the scales, I've been quite sensible but vino/constantly available food can't be good.
Feeling apprehensive about luggage weight .......

I am still shattered from the exertions of the last week - can't wait till end of tomorrow! Dh has gone on a boys night - bet he will be knackered!

Today I have been wearing an Austin Reed red dress with my ivory Miss Selfridge jacket (anyone remember last years obsession?!) with my new Merci Maman leather bracelet which has dh and the dcs and the dcs name on it. Loved the bracelet which I slipped into the basket while getting something for dh from the dcs.

I did start thinking of looking at a few things that I might buy this season.

Had a mini MU today with gorgeous Bernice and her lovely DC at my house. She was super chic in denim jumpsuit and perfect accessories. I was on a Telecon until about 5 mins before they arrived do had no make up, no accessories and no lunch ready . DD made up for me as she had her outfit planned in advance gets rather excited about play dates. Was great to catch up as always.

Buongiorno! Greetings to you all. Having a fab holiday-it's hot but not too hot. Am getting nicely tanned although seem to have developed heat rash overnight which is not attractive!

Hope you're having a lovely birthday blair. Definitely up for a November mu. I know I can't do 13th but will need to wait till I'm back home to check out other dates. I can't make September, mainly because I'm meeting friends the following week but also like lib I don't want to start the new term absolutely knackered! Also when I return home I need to give my poor liver a break!!

Had a lovely time yesterday at our mini MU with Lib and her DD and DH. Lib looked great in striped t-shirt and navy culottes. Shop we missed you and your DS. Hope you are okay

Following our chat about culottes I have seen a pair from Whistles - will link if they are keepers.

Last day off for scoffer in the sunshine.

It is so annoying Bernice. He just immediately went 'no' and then 'why do you like it?'. When I told him the price he nearly choked . Anyway it has made me question it too and start picking on things like the fact that it doesn't look great buttoned up...

I have done a little bit of sunbed shopping - a suede skirt and a silk cami from Warehouse. Have been considering also how to spend my bonus. Thinking about a Cartier Tank and some fabulous shoes. Not really sure though as I find I rarely wear my watches.

Not too worried about weight gain - have been relatively sensible and got so shitfaced early on in proceedings have been avoiding booze ever since. DH and I are off to the glam wedding on Thurs, so we'll have a couple of days home in between. Then back for another couple of days then off to France. Loving the month of holidays!

I've been so rubbish at keeping up as so busy trying to juggle work, childcare and housework! I hope things will be calmer next week.

Lib shame about your jacket I thought it was lovely, why do we even ask them?! I think this is the same jacket? looks nice on her. Will keep an eye out for khaki mary janes.

belated happy birthday to blair i hope you had a lovely day

surgery went great, im very sore and bruised but otherwise feel okay, ive generally been doing a whole lot of nothing the last couple of days and just making sure i get plenty of rest.

no fashion news, bought a couple of circle skirts, one in tartan for the winter which i think i will get a lot of use out of

Bernice I was trying to tell you that I noticed you liked prints like that and I had known I would have got you something like that earlier this year

I have just finished work for 10 days now. Hurrah! And it looks like my timing is brilliant because the weather is meant to be like the Med from Tuesday onwards!

So on the what am I going to buy question.... I have looked so far at a Burberry Trench, a Michael Kors dress, a grey max Mara cashmere coat and some Aquazurra shoes. Oh and the Blossom bracelet I have been talking about for 2 years.

Oh the blossom bracelet and necklace . In a dream world they would be mine, so gorgeous.

I have just started a thread about shoulder pads...the latest chapter in my wardrobe analysis.

I picked up the Clarks shoes these ones, today. Not going to set the fashion world alight but they are comfortable and a really nice almost old gold tone which works well with lots of my stuff.

And I did a Uniqlo order today, this jumper in both olive and blue and this skirt in olive.

Nice stables lib I like the uniqlo skirt.

River island has a flash sale. Women's stuff not that great but the men's selection of holiday stuff is brilliant. Just bought an entire hol wardrobe for my grown up son for pennies. Win win and because it wasn't for me is stroll in keeping with my yet agian self imposed shopping ban. Also got him some lovely sunglasses on tk maxx.

Thank God the A/W colours don't suit me. I'm not a burgundy gilrl.

Am on a train with bad wifi and lots of tunnels so can't open links but lib is Marant jacket the shape like mine (think its called flenn, double breasted, tweed like but v thin fabric and skinny fit?) If so I love it, all I would say is because it is designed to be really fitted not sure about being able to wear a shirt under it, I have only been wearing mine with sleeveless stuff so far, have it on today for travelling with white vest and jeans, but do love it, perfect mix of casual but elegant.

justa yy to the dh buzzkill! Even though I love my red Gucci slippers i remember his eyebrow raise every time I wear them!
