I've stupidly promised dh that I'd not buy any clothes for a while as we have a lot of outgoings atm (that does include my 'big birthday' gift so not all bad) so there is no fashion news from me although I am dithering over a Whistles dress.

M&S tan suede heeled sandals, love these but they might be too high
Lower heel sandals in case I can't walk in the above, definitely won't keep both

And there are so many gorgeous things on the outnet atm.... loving all the Alice and Olivia stuff, some lovely Tory Burch dresses and I love this Balmain scarf but can't do £200 for model (only 10% cashmere)

so, i picked out a tee to wear today that as far as i knew was a size 14, was on a size 14 hanger when i bought it. it's tight fitting but it does fit quite comfortably, wear it all day. come to take it off just now, peek at the label just because it's in front of me, actually a size TEN

Lovely day today - took DC to see Secret Life of Pets, which was a sweet little movie. Then popped in to see my parents and took the nippers to a local fair with my DM. DS had a go at zorbing on water which was hilarious. He also did those bungee type trampolines, but because he is so petite, he kept dangling in mid air like a spider in a web. Doesn't have the weight to pull him down, bless him!

Also popped into the shops to get some holiday bits for DH and DS chose a very loud Hawaiian shirt which he wants to wear to the mini disco.

Uninspiring OOTD - ripped 7FAM black bf jeans (lucky TK Maxx find, living in them at the moment), b/w striped tee from Primark (their basic crew neck tees are great - keep their shape and fit nicely) and Stans. Big leopard tote from Coach to accommodate kiddy crap.

lib I feel that, though I'm not working, just on a 4wk break over the summer. Just ordered a load of make up I really don't need (got a new dressing table yesterday and used the opportunity to bin a load of makeup, so obviously that created space!)

Love the M&S skirt and first sandals. Second pair are a bit Sunday supplement (sorry).

Amber yes! Those saint laurent ones are to die for. For me the heel needs a bit of chunk, to enable proper striding around in them. These are mine, the heel is dark wood so definitely day boots. Here are another couple of black boot looks I love: 1 & 2

Lib I prefer the first shoes too, also good to see chocolate brown items in the shops. Not sure how they can describe that as a skater skirt though! Hope it's as nice as it looks.

Lib, nooooo don't like the second shoes. However, I love the first shoes, really love skirt (if only I had the height!) and I tried to buy that Me&Em dress a few weeks ago, but forgot to check out out and my size was gone when I looked again.

I don't have a wish list for a/w bag. Oh actually I do, it's a Prada that I saw in Heathrow a couple of months ago and had my name written all over it!!

I am still a little in shock that i was swishing about in a size 10 t-shirt. if i'd known i'd have been telling everyone i know because it's been that long since i fit in that size that i don't even remember when it was exactly!

Morning all. Escentual has 20% off everything until 1st September if anyone needs beauty bits. :)
No news on DF overnight. Heading over there at 2pm so will know more then as the consultants are due round today.

I collect the M&S order on Friday so full feedback will be provided. I've had a good look again and the second shoes and still not getting what the problem is. Quite relieved that justa likes them though!!

I like the first sandals, too high for me now since the broken toe incident. Not sure about the second ones but agree, comfort is king with me nowadays.
