I hope I have remembered the chosen title correctly - I have used Crem's title (think it was Crem's) as the old thread is full.

Herbs - will be fab to have lots of time en famille in the summer but eek re new job on horizon.

Inspired by CV and Rose I have put 10 things on Ebay. They range from size 10 to 16. WTF.

Hell in a handcart

Blackduck · 24/06/2016 10:16

I HATE Farage - smug git....

Cremo · 24/06/2016 10:18

Smug bastard.

I am seriously considering moving abroad. I don't want to be old in this fucking country.

Cremo · 24/06/2016 10:20

Omg. Listening to a union leaders alighting themselves with the New Order. Scumbags

What about 'Crepe Escape'? Could either refer to summer holidays, or mass emigration.

magimedi · 24/06/2016 10:24

Crem DH & I are seriously thinking about moving to France.

MrsSchadenfreude · 24/06/2016 10:25

I think the French will shaft any non-EU citizens royally, MM.

Cremo · 24/06/2016 10:30

Wondering what happens to my Irish passport. I have British one too. A lot of us have here. Hmm

Cremo · 24/06/2016 10:32

Should have bought euros yesterday shouldn't I?

BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 24/06/2016 10:37

I'm going to go for a long, long walk Smile then I'm going to retire to my greenhouse for the rest of the day......

I'm truly shocked. Only two people I consider friends have 'come out' as Brexiteers. I genuinely didn't think this could happen.

I'm actually quite annoyed I'm not at work today. The City really will be blindsided. Our office is more than 80% EU employees, really only a couple of Brits and North Americans. They will certainly relocate the whole office to Frankfurt and/or possibly Madrid, with just a skeleton staff left in London. Obviously not me, though....

Auriga · 24/06/2016 10:37

Worst birthday ever Sad

Cremo · 24/06/2016 11:00

SadSad
So sorry Auriga.
CakeFlowers to you

motherinferior · 24/06/2016 11:01

Yep, Auriga, DD2's not too chipper either. Would have been my mum's 81st too - and my dad, mad as a box of frogs though he is, will be gutted at this result as he has been using what little energy he has at the moment to support the local Remainers (though my sister and I did think his offer to drive them to the polls was perhaps an own-goal).

Happy birthday anyway.

hattymattie · 24/06/2016 11:17

Happy Birthday Auriga.xx

Thanks for the info Mrs S - DS still has four years of school. Hoping for a some sort of negotiation as the unis stand to lose a lot.

Blackduck · 24/06/2016 11:19

Auriga - Happy Birthday.....

But happy to find my dbro who does not share my political views usually did vote IN.

Ds cried this morning......

MontserratCaballe · 24/06/2016 11:32

Happy birthday, Auriga. I hope the day goes as well as possible in the circumstances WineFlowersBrew

It's sports day at school. Lots of chat among the parents of course. One of my good friends said she voted leave as "it was time for a change and it won't affect me personally". WTAF. People like her are deeply scary.

I am going out tonight with a friend who was always been openly in the leave side. I feel like crying off TBH.

Happy Birthday Auriga. What a year.

Collymollypuff · 24/06/2016 11:47

Still, at least we'll have Boris as PM. Shock Confused Angry

bigTillyMint · 24/06/2016 11:49

Happy Birthday AurigaCakeWine

Monty, I'm afraid I couldn't stomach that at all today. Thankfully I haven't got any friends who voted to leave, though there are a few people at workConfused

DD keeps texting me about itSad

hattymattie · 24/06/2016 11:52

Has Boris said anything. Have seen no speeches at all. Farage seems to have been up and about representing England across the world.

Lalsy · 24/06/2016 11:56

Devastated too. And the votes were barely in before Leave admitted the NHS figure wasn't true. dd furious and upset.

Happy birthday Auriga and MI's dd Cake.

wordassociationfootball · 24/06/2016 11:59

Happy birthday Auriga.

This is what my friend is saying on fb:
"I have long argued that this was too complex and nuanced a question to leave to the masses (self included), and this step into the abyss is too frightening to face. If democracy ever wanted to prove the truth of the aphorism that it is the worst system of government (except all the others), this was it doing so."
