Come and chat about fashion, make up and anything glittery and frivolous. We'll take your bad hair day seriously and you never have to apologise for a new bag Grin

And if you happen to know where I can find comfortable but stylish trainers in kakhi or dark brown you are particularly welcome (Blatant abuse of thread setting up privileges) Wink

Well done Viva, amazing achievement! :)

shopafrolic · 25/04/2016 14:11

Nice Theory stuff on the Outnet today - and lots in Autumn colours....

KittyHello · 25/04/2016 14:32

Well done Viva what an achievement

Great buys Blingy the Hermes bracelet is to die for, outfit sounded great yesterday.

libertydoddle · 25/04/2016 14:40

Dream I am a 5.5 or 6 usually and the 6 are perfect IMO.

Dragons they are on the green side of kakhi, the picture doesn't capture the colour properly. What a PITA that your's have gone MIA!

I've managed to find my nearly perfect blazer in massimo dutti in Spain. I've bought it. It is slightly tight and had reinforced the need to diet in my brain. The leather jacket that I really wanted was like a straitjacket when I tried it on. Must cut the carbs and the wine. Sad

Dreamqueen · 25/04/2016 17:56

Liberty I might try the 5. Normally between 4&5. I bought some supergas in Italy last year in 5. Tried them on this week and they are like boats. Either my feet were super swollen or I was very drunk when I bought them. Lol

QueenC · 25/04/2016 18:27

Evening. Had one of those days today where I felt rubbish in my outfit but think it would have happened whatever I wore as I did have multiple outfit changes before I went out. Even my necklace felt wrong. I have however, managed to spend £700 today. Nothing exciting I'm afraid-just a bike and accessories and a lovely high viz jacket. The flourescent ŷellow actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would!

vegas well done. Hope you're feeling ok today!

Dreamqueen · 25/04/2016 20:38

I'm loving shopping in Spain. The euro price is the same number as £s I bought a jacket for 145euro and looked on uk internet & its £145. It was the same in Zara. Luckily I've booked luggage for the return journey.
this jacket is what I bought.

shopafrolic · 25/04/2016 20:42

That's lovely Dream

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/04/2016 20:59

That looks like a great buy Dream! I have a MD blazer and the quality is gorgeous. So Envy of the shopping in Spain.

Had a catalogue through the door from The Fold, this isn't the first time but I loved everything in it today! Has anyone ever bought anything from there? It's expensive but the quality looks fantastic and I think everything would suit me. Just need to get a more corporate job first and a better salary Grin

queenC are you going to be riding to work?

Topazandpearl · 25/04/2016 21:05

Well done Viva, a great achievement!

Good luck with the packing Blair. I'll be interested in how you get on as we are heading that way later in the summer (when it will be even hotter and more humid).

New bike sounds exciting QueenC. I'm sure you can style out the high viz jacket.

Good shopping Dream, it's good you brought an extra bag.

I am fed up with this weather - back in black opaques and cashmere today.

QueenC · 25/04/2016 21:38

That's the plan blair. It's only about 2 miles and at the moment I drive half way and walk the rest but since the introduction of parking zones it's becoming impossible to park. I don't have time to walk the whole journey to get to work on time and leave to do school pick up. V nervous though as its a v busy road. Hence the high viz jacket.

Lovely jacket dream. I like MD.
topaz also fed up with this weather. When i picked up dd from guides my car told me there is risk of ice Shock. Talking of dd, she's decided that she wants a leather jacket Hmm

Dreamqueen · 25/04/2016 22:30

Queenc I'm on the lookout too for a leather jacket. Need to lose a few lbs first! even the xl in Massimo Dutti was a tight fit so didn't buy one. I have enough stuff in my wardrobe that I bought tight with the intentions of slimming in to fit. It doesn't work. I'll be back on some sort of regime from Thursday.
I had a look at Mooba & they're lovely but feel the need to try on in real life before committing to purchase.

My petty are waiting for me at the local collect + shop, can't wait to try them.

Drywhitethanks · 25/04/2016 22:41

Viva that's subpch an achievement, really well done. Would you do another one do you think ? Could never imagine running so far.

Dream great blazer.....I'm waiting for it to warm up to wear mine. Opaques firmly back on ..... It snowed today Shock

My name is Dry I'm a bix set addict.....Outlander, just finishing Being Human love it , am wondering whether to start Vikings Hmm

Drywhitethanks · 25/04/2016 22:42

Box set obv Grin

maradesbois · 25/04/2016 23:51

Hello,

Dry Shock at snow.

Dream lovely jacket. Am going to Germany soon and looking forward to Eurozone prices.

Viva congratulations! Great time too. Yy to Shop's massage suggestion along with your pedicure, so well-deserved.

Marsha gorgeous top, can so see you in it. The robe I bought last week fp was included in the 30% off promo, gah!

I've done it! Found the right small bag that is. Its one that's been on my wishlist for years, Céline trio in navy lambskin (larger size). The navy is so dark its practically black but love it. QueenC thanks for linking the APC one too. I like the minimalism of their bags, particularly keen on the half moon one but not in the current colours.

maradesbois · 25/04/2016 23:52

Have bought the trio I mean, reading back that isn't very clear.

maradesbois · 26/04/2016 00:08

Oh and Blair meant to say I find HK pretty smart, wouldn't wear shorts for example. For daytime definitely keep to cotton as Blingy said but for evening it's somewhere you can dress up a bit so your silk shirts, dvf etc will get used. Dresses with flats/trainers and cardigan for aircon would definitely work for daytime. Your cashmere roll neck will be good for keeping warm on the plane but you seem to have quite a few other jumpers am not sure you'll wear. Depends how much luggage allowance you have and how much you'll have to lug it about over there though.

VivaVegas · 26/04/2016 07:28

Thanks all for your kind words, yes I would do another one Dry, I'll put in for London next year when the ballot opens next week but chances of getting on again are very slim. In the meantime it'll be nice to just do some shorter runs where training doesn't take over. Need a rest first though, went into yesterday with a leg injury and am now paying the price. Need a pedicure and I was thinking some new spring things but given the forecast for this week, think I'll still be in my winter stuff for a while!

libertydoddle · 26/04/2016 07:46

Mara I am Envy at the Trio. I would love one. Great choice.

dream lovely jacket.

In parka, scarf and opaques today - what is going on?

I am Envy of your new bike too QueenC. I did lots of cycling in NZ and loved it. Haven't got the nerve to cycle in London. Tried ages ago and it scared me witless. I used to bike all over Dublin as a student.

Dreamqueen · 26/04/2016 08:33

It's freezing here too this morning. I wish I'd brought a warm coat. My leather jacket while looking quite nice is not up to the job.
Coming time tomorrow, heading to Barcelona to spend the night & hoping to squeeze in a little more shopping.

shopafrolic · 26/04/2016 10:00
