In addition to my new bag, I did also break my work dress ban with this dress and it's sister dress in beige. Also got this top and decided to give this pussy bow blouse a go because it's quite sleek and not too extreme.

Also added to my pearl collection (I have a lot of pearls!) with this set (think the chain is a mistake though) and this set.

As usual nothing for ages then big splurge! dh was shyly telling me over dinner last night that he felt he spent a lot of money on himself yesterday. I asked him what he got. It added up to £100. Bless.

I meant to add, I finally wore the Lucy Choi glitter shoes last night and loved loved loved them. Thank you again Amber for the discount tip. I was wearing with this lace dress, my marmara cashmere coat and a silver clutch. Between my diamond watch, dangly diamond earrings, boodles raindance ring and the debut of this swarovski bracelet I was a bit sparkly .

Kate W is in the verge of having too much work done on her face, would have whispered it to her but that would have been rude , I was seriously wel jel of Cate B's dress...that bitch always gives me a bit of competition in the fashion stakes. Yes I love Alicia's style - would definitely wear that. Thought Dakota Johnson looked amazing - she's just so cool.

Also loved Angela Scanlon's outfit but I always think she looks great. I saw her IRL wearing Levis 501s with super high Ghillie shoes from Topshop and an amazing pink feather jacket have wanted to recreate that look ever since!

I actually didn't really recognise Kate W, agree too much work.

Agree with Marsha there were some lovely dresses - Alicia Vikander and Laura Bailey were my favourite. Great to see so much bright lipstick too for a change.

That Alexander McQueen dresslooks very like some Azzedine Alaïa-esque. Could totally see amber in that style, but yes, more of a cooler colour.

I've watched 3 movies in 2 days, good going. "Wolf of Wall St", surprisingly good. "inglorious Bastards" great Tarantino, and "Defiance" with D Craig.....last 2 to help dd with her history GCSE ....all good films. Watched "Jango" last week, I love Tarantino. Di Caprio is really a great actor, now I want yo see his latest but will wait until it's on Amazon.

My favourite dress from last night was Cate's. However, I have had a massive crush on her since Elizabeth. I just love her. I don't think the other Kate looked as good as I have seen her in the past. I thought Julianne Moore looked lovely, but....I think her dress was too tight (the tailoring/fit could have been better) and her hair was too severe. Lovely that they all made such an effort in the freezing cold though!

I've been binge watching Scandal for the last few days. Like The Good Wife and HOC, Kerry Washington plays a strong female who has some fabulous coats and lounge wear!

Thank God for free returns. four parcels arrived containging eleven items. ten are going back. Only keeping these jeans, on me they are full length and look good either with my gold Vans or black R&B loafers.

I've reordered this dress in a smaller size for my hols and these bargain shorts

Karcheer I think all styles can look good. We've done in the middle somewhat - simple lines on bath / sink / loo but more traditional taps.
