Well, I've grabbed the bull by the horns & am leaping into the new thread........

Felt very sad no one else had started one whilst I scoffed dined.

If no one like the title I am more than happy to have it deleted & go with anything else.

DH has taken over the catering for the month of February......... the food is good but the angst is another matter Grin

It was this jumpsuit, GGG. I spotted it on a mannequin in Bluewater and thought it looked lovely, and so did DD1. But there are none left. Sad

The dress looks promising! Report back......

Collymollypuff · 18/02/2016 23:04

I've been looking at this in store.

Collymollypuff · 18/02/2016 23:06

Also these.

Lalsy · 18/02/2016 23:17

I like that dress and those trousers.

Facial exercises? What fresh hell is this? I've only just discovered my glutes, I am not bloody finding other bits of my body that need exercising. Grin at the dual purpose though.

dh has sort of been not working this week and we have had some Fun. Including a day out yesterday and a meal out tonight. We got home quite early, so I was in my PJs by 10.15, finishing swabbing the defrosting freezer. Top night out Grin.

MrsSchadenfreude · 18/02/2016 23:48

I love a good chomp, but surely long distance BJ = jaw ache?

Dreamqueen · 19/02/2016 06:35

M&S have some nice things at the moment, that makes a nice change. i like the denim dress and am very tempted but i seem to have been on a blue/denim theme for a while.

I bought this dress Its a lot nicer IRL and thought it might be good also to throw on over a swimming cossie to parade about in.

Facila exercises would be yet another type of exercise for me to fret about not keeping up with, I'll bow out gracefully of them and concentrate on my spreading waistline.

hattymattie · 19/02/2016 06:41

glutes? what are these?

CV - love jumpsuit and trousers and I like the jacket although it does look as if it may be a bit baggy.

Confusion here about DS's starting time resulting in him getting up and out within ten minutes and yelling at me that I was irresponsible and could not by relied upon. Apparently, I should know his school timetable by now!

I always think the French have better cheekbones, because of muscle enhancement developed from speaking French. Doesn't seem to have worked for me though!

Cremo · 19/02/2016 07:31

Molly those trousers are lovely , but they are strobing on my iPad Grin
CV lovely one piece, wish my short-arse could sustain such garments.SadGrin
GGG hell yes, to more denim dresses.
Hatty, denim is de rigeur this season apparently. Is it not every season?

My trousers of truth are so tight I can't breath this morning. That'll teach me for taking relaxed holidays and stuffing gueule with lobster and chips.

motherinferior · 19/02/2016 08:14

I slightly yearn for a denim shirt dress, worn with numerous buttons undone over leggings Smileand a racy bra. But am not sure this would in fact look as ironic-arty - I Am A Lady Novelist - and quasi-Toast as I imagine.

Oh FFS my sodding father is offloading his worries at his grandsons who are 12 and 16 and are already worried and sad enough. He is so awful. I know he doesn't have any friends but whose fault is that????

motherinferior · 19/02/2016 08:20

Ooh and fellow legging fans, Seasalt has some lovely long linen shirts...

Rosebag · 19/02/2016 08:24

Oh MI. My DM did similar to DS1 and DS2 and kept calling them out when she couldn't get Ddad out of the chair and I wasn't around. I had to put stop to it in the end as DM was trying to get DS1 back from work to help her, on occasion. Very very stressful Flowers

Lots of nice links for me to peruse over the weekend. Point taken Cv My problem is I like a bit of hippyish stuff Blush and I struggle with shirts, long or short owing to boobage and big hips. But I am tempted to try on the long denim one!

waf Grin Grin Grin naughty girl....

I am off to a study day today in the Euston Square area. The DC have to fend for themselves including DD who has to go into school for drama session Angry and the on to a rehearsal at the theatre without me chivvying her along. Let's see what state we're all in by the evening...

Blackduck · 19/02/2016 08:28

Oh MI :(
Here my father lost it with my SIL who now feels very alienated and doesn't feel part of the family. I had it out with him yesterday - he has no recollection of the conversation, which just shows what state he was in.

magimedi · 19/02/2016 08:47

MI - my mother, in the early stages of dementure, did something very similar to DS, who was only about nine. I really had to pull her up on that. Just not acceptable.

Thanks Crem Grin

I would love a jumpsuit. I might investigate. I like that M&S denim dress too.

I am giddy (not GGG though) as 5months solid toil is complete bar a quick proof read. As massive over compensation I bought some Hudson Riley boots in black. Can't link, I haven't my brekkie yet. Wanted a tiny bit of height but ability to walk. They are Boots For Life.

Further purchase I can recommend, the Nars eyelid primer. My lids have got so oily and this stops slap sliding off.

Herbs the jowly ones get forgotten about cause they ache, so would prob work.

Mrs S ARF at chomp Grin I had a right chuckle.

MI enraging as about dad and nephews. Appropriate boundaries please, olds.

Cancellation means mum is going in for hip op on 3rd March Shock

motherinferior · 19/02/2016 09:12

DSis reminds me how he collapsed over our cousin when his sister died. Given that said cousin was the one actually close to our aunt and was only 21 at the time...

hattymattie · 19/02/2016 09:34

Have just taken chunk out of car against a bollard, fuckity fuck. Not only that, it is the exact same place that was repaired 6 months ago when DH took a chunk out against the garage wall. I was feeling reasonably happy today as well!

wordassociationfootball · 19/02/2016 09:36

Oh feck Hatty. I have a recent bumper car antic against my name and a parked car was involved too. Forgive yourself. In the greater scheme of things etc..

motherinferior · 19/02/2016 09:42

I need to embark on restructure and rewrite following feedback from editor friend. But not today.

herbaceous · 19/02/2016 09:55

I am feeling lazy and vague. Looks like my adult ed job won't start again until at least April, so I have only my horrid sixth formers (paid) and lovely year 2s (voluntary) to keep me going. I have the promise of some editing work in the pipeline, but it's all gone a bit quiet.

I should use this time to do A Project. My own website/blog? Sorting the garden? Restoring the Ercol table? Getting fit? All of the above?

motherinferior · 19/02/2016 10:02

distinctly tempted but what about the bosoms?

herbaceous · 19/02/2016 10:11

Nice! I have a denim shirt dress, and wear it undone to below the bosoms. With a t-shirt underneath, natch.

I have similar problems to Rose with shirts - too much boob and bum, and a waist that needs to be defined. The current mode for boxy shapes does me no favours whatsoever.

Dreamqueen · 19/02/2016 10:12

Is the m&s discount offer still on and does it work in store. I'm in m&s now and can't see the email that I had from them. Help please!

hattymattie · 19/02/2016 10:14

WAF - agree about car things - just they are costly and it would be nice to drive in something that is reasonably undented for once.

wordassociationfootball · 19/02/2016 10:17

Strap 'em down and get it MI. Its nortie boho Thoroughly Modern Millie and I likes it.

I took a while cogitating my agent thoughts. You have to compost sometimes. Its just mountain. Rest. Mountain. Rest. Talking of which, BTM your miles in the mountains hol is one I would have enjoyed enormously.

Herbs, if you could do one of those things, which would it be?

Rudy.... Hello.... KOBO and Brew

I would like to come on 12th.

MrsSchadenfreude · 19/02/2016 10:17

Your father needs a good slap, MI. My mother is similarly self absorbed, as you know.

I have day off today and we are going to my favourite cousin's daughter's wedding tomorrow. Grin
