Well, I've grabbed the bull by the horns & am leaping into the new thread........

Felt very sad no one else had started one whilst I scoffed dined.

If no one like the title I am more than happy to have it deleted & go with anything else.

DH has taken over the catering for the month of February......... the food is good but the angst is another matter Grin

Too hippyish?

magimedi · 18/02/2016 13:35

Link not working - more 'woo' than hippy Grin

trying again

Cremo sadly I can't do the 12. I am away until the 18th but am def up for any MU in april.

wordassociationfootball · 18/02/2016 17:14

Have I killed the thread with my (potential) muscular prowess Grin

CointreauVersial · 18/02/2016 17:39

I say, WAF. Bit racy for a Thursday afternoon! I do lots of facial exercise, also known as talking constantly. Wink

BD - ooh, that would be great. Fingers crossed for New Jobs All Round.

Rose - hmmm...I think the old-style tunics (scoop neck, slightly empire line, flaring out) a la White Stuff are not very in at the moment; suggest you look at long-line shirts and jumpers. Arse-covering, but not so frumpy, IMHO. I'll see if I can find any links.

I'm sitting at my kitchen table, and there's a whiff. Not sure if it's bins, drains or dead creatures, but it's not at all pleasant. I need to investigate.

motherinferior · 18/02/2016 18:06

Celtic and co has some lovely if pricey stuff!

CointreauVersial · 18/02/2016 18:14

Rose - this sort of thing. Or a long jumper. (Excuse the M&S links, but just giving you an idea what I mean).

Dreamqueen · 18/02/2016 18:26

I like that shirt cv and there's 20%off at m&s at the moment. Some of their stuff is not very nice but occasionally they have some nice things. I might cheekily order the shirt now as I'm going through a blue/ denim phase Wink

herbaceous · 18/02/2016 18:41

Once again my favourite boutique has some nice stuff in. This is an appealing tunic.

And have I taken leave of my senses, or is this dress rather nice also?

CointreauVersial · 18/02/2016 19:00

LOL at "boutique". I actually avoid going to the local mega-Sainsbo's as I get sucked into the excellent clothing department and no food shopping gets done. I love that tunic; not so sure about the dress (but then I have no waist).

Dreamqueen - I just picked the shirt at random as an example, but it is quite nice, isn't it? I did a 20% off M&S order in the wee small hours (if anyone needs a code, let me know). Then had an email this morning, telling me the item I ordered was out of stock and had been cancelled. Oh well.

Smell has been tracked down to kitchen drain - poof! I popped outside with my torch to inspect it, and was treated to a fly-past by Tim Peake and his merry men. So cool.

hattymattie · 18/02/2016 19:23

Il can't wear dresses like that either CV - same reason - three chidren - waist destroyed.

Crikey MI - that Celtic and co site is well pricey.

CointreauVersial · 18/02/2016 20:10

Hattie - I can't blame the DCs - I've always been straight up and down - even when I was a slim 10 I didn't go in and out much. A waisted garment just draws attention to it. I'm not a "tucker"!

Cremo · 18/02/2016 20:18

Gold star for the TU navy tunic Herbs. Lovely . Also like the stripy one from M et S, CV. I also am a waist less creature and also somewhat thick of waist at the same time, and can't do straight. However I find something asymmetrical flatters quite well, or indeed something magical that skims.Grin
I am liking the boyfriend skinny jeans that are abroad this season. these are flying out of the shop it seems!

Cremo · 18/02/2016 20:24

WAF you are awful, but I like youGrin
Have you had the tooth out?

DQ shame!Sad I only get over twice a year really,. Not to worry!

I have seen a lovely raincoat on La Redoute, but like Herbs, my coat buying is somewhat , keen.
It's a nice colour but that's no excuse , is it?

bigTillyMint · 18/02/2016 20:32

WAF, I am thinking that DH would like me to do those facial exercises - to save on the £££ beauty products, of courseGrin

I have only worn leggings this week (with baselayer under) - with a range of longish tops/huge jumpers.

Just got to hotel(budget!) halfway to Calais and logged onto wifi to find several irate messages from DD about the cost of the train back tomorrow. WTAF?

hattymattie · 18/02/2016 20:46

BTM - did she not buy a return ticket?

Your holiday seems to have gone really fast. Hope you had fun.

Watching a horrific programme on pesticides on the French tv - we're doomed.

bigTillyMint · 18/02/2016 21:02

Hatty, no because when we looked, they were more expensive than 2 singles. Plus she wasn't sure about timing and open return was £££.

I also have a coat and boot buying habitConfused

Collymollypuff · 18/02/2016 21:17

I'll never be able to do a facial exercise again, without thinking....

Collymollypuff · 18/02/2016 21:19

Because, y'know, I devote a lot of my life to them facial exercises

herbaceous · 18/02/2016 21:31

WAF - my facial exercises are not practised religiously, if at all. Did you find any particularly effective for the jowls? Poor DP would be grateful for a sprint, and can only dream of long distance.

Went to see the latest Alvin and the Chipmunks film this afternoon. It was so insubstantial I have already entirely forgotten it.

magimedi · 18/02/2016 22:43

Facial exercise??

Jesus, I find getting old & all the attendant things I have to do enough hard work without putting that one into the regime!

I know it's better to wear out than to rust but even so.................

GiddyGiddyGoat · 18/02/2016 22:53

What did you try to buy CV?
I've just used my 20% off for this... might be nice / could be horrid...

Collymollypuff · 18/02/2016 22:56

I like the look of that, GGG. It'll be fab on you.
