Morning! Mother of all hangovers! Took my team out for our Christmas party. 9 hour champagne fuelled fest off the back of a very stressful week and an empty stomach. Not smart. No, not smart.

DH did well - he got me this and these, plus some lovely perfume. DD (4) got me a Bobbi Brown lipstick (which she had already used, thanks DD) and DS (5) got me a lovely dark red OPI polish.

Today we will spend the morning at home before DH and I head off for a night away in Central Lon. Planning a browse in the shops (and returning the cursed Chanel) before champagne, cocktails, dinner and karaoke. Not sure what I'll wear but I'll have to factor in new shoes and bag!

That was me yesterday novice - I was out from 11am to 1.30am on Thurs (not to mention Monday and Tuesday). I was so bad after Monday I had to mute a conf call (was WFH) to throw up! #professional

Nice night last night at hotel. Dress felt good, although by the end of the evening it had stretched so the skirt part slipped down - need a belt to roll the top over IYSWIM. Lots of compliments especially from DH.
Am frantically cleaning the dust away pre our party this afternoon. Stokey I'll raise a glass to you. A bit damp outside at the moment but hopefully the little ones can burn off some crazy in the garden at some point.

Some bastard put glitter in one of DD's birthday cards along with xmas cards, glitter is one of the few things I hate about xmas, not great in my line of work it's all over my bed will spend next few weeks manically clearing the stiff off and covered in tiny bits you just can't remove AHHHHHHHHHHH

Tonight is mini party chez Blingy. It's just a casual affair but I feel the need to wear one of my glitter shoes in the spirit of the holiday season! Need to clear all the clutter away! I didn't get the chance to get crisps and dips etc so will have to brave the hell of our supermarket. We don't need it as the caterer is making enough food to feed a small army but as Lib will know, I am a total over feeder!

blingy I have really overspent on socialising - I will just hide the bank statement when it arrives.

I somehow forgot it's my big(gish) birthday next year too, so an autumn MU would be AMAZING!

It was so nice to open all my parcels from work this morning, and remember what I've bought everyone. I had a couple for me too, the Jaeger camelhair skirt which is stunning, the softest thing ever, and fully lined with a beautiful Loro Piana label inside that says "Baby Camelhair". Also a J Crew wool pencil skirt that could have been made for me as it fits so perfectly. I feel like my winter work wardrobe might actually be complete :)

Blingy wow, wish you were my boss , can't you claim any of it back to ease the pain? Party sounds fab, hope it goes well and it's definitely an occasion for glitter shoes!

Big night out last night here too, cocktails at the Connaught and nice dinner. Saw two girls who looked a bit dodgy try to leave without paying but the staff were on it straight away.

The All Saints dress and East dress are going back. Both OK but not fantastic and as there is lots more to come with the sales I don't want to just settle for OK. The Hobbs coat is a definite keeper. DH loves it and even though he was at the price he says it looks completely worth it.

Morning! No hangover! No hangover!!

Had a great time last night. The chef was awesome and the food was out of this world. We drank through most of the champagne and some of the men were on the Malbec. Very happy guests..

So clothes wise I went with an Alice Temperley lace top with faded j crew matchstick jeans and decided to jazz it up with lots of sparkles. My YSL sparkly shoes, this Seksy watch, boodles ring and the blingiest bracelet you can imagine.

Hope Shops party went well. Dry loved the pictures of your dd. she is such a stunner! Blair your clothes sound lovely think I missed the links but love the sound of them. (No chance of getting my £1k back btw! Pre agreed budget was £10k, we spent £13k so the excess is personal expenses. £1k was my share. Eeek!). Amber hope you had a great time, your outfit sounded lovely. Hope everyone else had a great evening x

Morning all. The house looks like a bomb went off as the kids went toy crazy. Adults had a great time but it all got a little messy when we hit the Grey Goose martinis

Head a bit rough and I sound like Barry White but it was worth it.
Glad yours went well. Catering sounds brilliant. I spent most of the evening cooking! But can totally recommend Sainsburys duck spring rolls. Serve with a plum dipping sauce - massive hit with guests.

We had a good night, but started early, really wanted to skip over to Blingy's do but didn't quite make it. Would have been fab though!

My party is today shop. Doing lots of bread sticks, crisps, chopped carrots and peppers and dips, mozzarella and cherry tomato sticks, cheddar and grape sticks, smoked salmon w brown soda bread, brie and crackers, mini mince pies, lots of nice chocolate biscuits and jelly and ice cream. And a birthday cake! Ands lots of prosecco!

We've spent loads, however I'm justifying in the basis that our passports didn't arrive in time - so holiday money saved. Easter instead.

That sounds like a good justification to me Marsha!!

Morning. Feeling slightly ropey and have to go to the police station later to make a statement for something I witnessed yesterday. Better get myself showered soon and looking half decent.
