Good to hear about everyone's nights out, mine are all done now and far too many lunches this week, I'll be waddling into the new year.
Hope those feeling under the weather start to feel better.
Love that jumper Stokey, my fave colour. I did well in the Hush sale last year so will look again once it starts.
Not seen anything I fancy in the sales so far but I don't really need anything and am carrying half a stone more than usual so need to shift that really, not until after Christmas obviously!
Work is quietening down now as colleagues and clients all start to go on holiday, I have a few days off around the long weekend so looking forward to a bit of relaxing and doing some more running as not had time for as much as I'd like lately.

We're leaving soon to a place without WiFi but I will have rejoined civilisation in time to wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Seriously, I am already panicking at the thought of not being able to check my e-mails every 5 minutes.

Urgh. I will be so glad not to be hungover one day. Basically went on a 14h bender yesterday - left office at 11, got home at 1.30am. Am spending morning on the sofa eating and watching Frasier to recuperate.

QueenC I am really impressed with the M&S beauty calendar. I opened it all before I went on hols and brought lots of it with me. Really impressed with the Pixi glow tonic and all the hair products. The Josh Wood shampoo has been amazing on my frizz.

dry when you said your party I immediately thought it might be cheeky to say 'oh can I come' but now that shop and QueenC have ignored party invite etiquette.....

Hobbs coat won't arrive until Monday. I am hoping the JL order with the dresses ( and some last minute gifts) will arrive today.

So warm today I have abandoned my coat i foavour of a long Theory cashmere cardigan and an oversize scarf.

MNV coach trip for my party

Today's job is wrapping. I've emptied all cupboard etc of hidden purchases, my bedroom looks like santa'so grotto. I think I'll wrap with Bublé this afternoon, may even don a Santa hat to get into the spirit......and I may even go crazy and pour myself a Harvey's dont I know how to have a great time?

My Atterley skirt arrived and I thought it looked massive, but it's not, and it's a keeper! Really happy to have 1 skirt that's A line instead of pencil

Tonight is my only pre-Christmas social event - 2 friends from work are coming over to bring me all the parcels I've had delivered to the office in my absence I ordered them before I was off, oops!. We're going to eat party food and have a gossip.

I am ill, again, as is traditional at the start of the holidays. throat feels like i'm swallowing glass. never mind, i'm sure it will have passed in a day or two.must get dp's presents wrapped in the next few days and then i'm all done and dusted

no shopping or fashion news here, the last of my free spending money went on vets fees for the cat, shes still not 100% herself but better than she was at least

Oh One I hope it passes quickly and you feel better! I can't help but think that this mild weather has meant way more horrible bugs going around, without the cold to kill them off. Glad OneCat is improving too.

One's user name has just reminded me, has anyone got any plans to see Star Wars? We're hoping to see it between Christmas and New Year maybe.

Thanks blair i'm sure i'll be fine in a couple of days, i always get ill in the holidays, it's like a tradition now! Yeah, oneCat is much better but still not all the way there, poor thing, she's still moping feeling sorry for herself and comes and bothers me when shes in pain, i have painkillers for her so she's at least letting me give them to her and not fighting me about them

I saw Star Wars last night Blair & One, it was great if a bit derivative, very similar to the original & no Phantom Menace thank God. Had a couple of shots of rum when I got home Christmas spirits! Hope you're both getting better

But if anyone fancies a chick flick over Christmas, I also saw Sisters this week which was very funny.

Hope everyone had good nights. Big party here today but luckily the weather is mild so we can be outside. I was spray painting branches in the garden yesterday and am very tempted to spray paint something Christmassy on the back fence... Think I need to reel in my inner Banksy!

Oh and I'm definitely up for a big birthday celebration next Autumn Fedup & Dry
