Loads of Tods on the Outnet BTW

LinusLovesBretons · 11/01/2016 17:37

That is rubbish CS shop and marsha!

If you want a more budget friendly concealer, I bought the Maybelline Age Rewind (I think it's called, it's got that round sponge ball applicator) one recently and really love it.

QueenC · 11/01/2016 18:15

That is rubbish marsha.

Grr to Harvey Nicks, that's annoying, Marsha and Shop.

I've pinned that moisturiser, Shop. I need a miracle!

Lovely belt, Blair.

Forgot to say, I love what you bought, Karcheer, and I would go for Le Smoking, Safety.

I think the mini Marcie is what I'll go for Fedup, though really should buy something for my house instead! Birthday is not for another month though.

FedupNagging · 11/01/2016 19:37

Golden Globe dresses:
Loved: Jennifer Lawrence, Julianne Moore, Taylor Schilling, Helen Mirren and Lady GaGa

Not keen: Kate Hudson, Cate Blanchett and Calista Flockhart

I thought everyone's hair and makeup looked spot on - even the chaps!

libertydoddle · 11/01/2016 20:02

Monsoon links

The navy cord skirt in this picture

Yellow cashmere boxy jumper

I love them. I tried on both together and had a 'aha, this is me' moment Grin

Now I need shoes....ideas welcome.

I also had a Boden delivery today, denim skirt and this t-shirt in seaweed. Both for upcoming holidays.

QueenC · 11/01/2016 20:03

I thought brad Pitt looked a bit odd...almost too young. Loved helen mirrens outfit.

This is the jacket that I ordered. It was lovely, almost a metallic silver and would have been a keeper except that the shoulders were too wide on me.

This was the wild card dress. Lovely but confirmed for me that I don't suit quirky styles.

QueenC · 11/01/2016 20:06

This boden coatigan didn't look right at all as it gaped at the back. It also didn't feel worth the money.

Bowie fans - great documentary on Radio 2 ATM - lots of interviews with him. Really enjoying it.

Cranagh · 11/01/2016 20:26

DRY!

Those trousers look great, QueenC.

Lovely, Liberty. A full outfit.

Karcheer · 11/01/2016 20:33

quuen they look lovely, I had some trousers from boden last summer that look similar and I loved them.

Karcheer · 11/01/2016 20:40

The top shop jeans arrived today, they are too small, which is weird because I'm always the same size in jeans, anyway I'm lunching in London tomorrow so will swap them when I'm in town.

KittyHello · 11/01/2016 21:18

Great purchases Lib the Monsoon jumper is lovely and I love the colour of the Boden t shirt. Am tempted.

Glad you're happy you've found your navy trousers Queen I quite like Boden for trousers but am a Bistro wearer.

Shop and Marsha shame about your IM sweaters, boo hiss HN Hmm

Have just ordered these grey trousers for work as I'm bored with wearing black trousers.

Just saw G Globe dresses, can't believe what Cate Blanchett was wearing, she normally never puts a foot wrong Shock Jennifer Lawrence looked gorgeous.

QueenC · 11/01/2016 21:18

Lovely stuff lib. The colour of the tee is gorgeous.
Can't open the link for dry.

Ive just had to do an order for bras. Hate spending money on them.

They look nice kitty. I really wish I had a local Uniqlo as I hate paying for returns.

Almost Cranagh I'm fussy prefer cotton and I'm not great in v neck, but thanks all the same Smile

GG dresses.....
my fav was K Bosworth in D and G.
Although I adore Julianne Moore I've seen her in this sort of thing before.
K Blanchet is great because she never plays it safe, as a result she occasionally misses.
Katy Perry was bloody awful.....too much and too old. Infact a lot of theseUS young women dress too old for these sort of dos, Brits do it better, quirky.
Kate Hudsons shoes were horrendous.
J Lo's were fab.
K Winslet needs to halt the plastic surgery as does Sly's wife who just looks plastic.

OOTD today, I felt great and DD commented on how nice my dress was.
Linus's Me and Em burgundy dress, longline black cardi, opaques, black knee boots, gold fine pendant necklace, black skinny belt.

When DD made her comment I told her I don't like the rear view, she said it was fine "very Kim Kardashian" Hmm is this a compliment Confused

It's taken me a year (?) to wear this dress because I really didn't know how to style it. Blair inspired me last week and I'm thrilled. Miracle dresses aren't they? Like wearing a corset, brilliant rushing, you can make them the length you want and they don't ride up. Love it. Thanks Linus

Epic post ....sorry Smile
