It's so warm! Have switched back to trench coat after boiling in pea coat yesterday.

I am skipping a Christmas lunch today as I still feel a bit under the weather. So please amber have a least 2 glasses of something bubbly on my behalf

Just popping in to say that the NaP sale is on. Is it me or is it earlier than previous years?

I ordered an APC shirt (I think queenc linked it a while ago) and a Splendid dress (I always seem to buy one in the NaP sale)

Good work on big nights out, Sicilian widow sounds dark Amber. Glad you had a good party Marsha. Sales are super early, Hobbs & Jaeger on already. And tried on a nice dress in AS sale yesterday, sort of baggy top & tube bottom, but am holding off for a code or further reduction.

I'm at the start of 5 days of events. Dinner yesterday, I boiled in fur gilet, coated skinnies, green peasant top & bikers. Agree the weather is crazily warm, although great for our window replacement! Christmas drinks party in Shoreditch tonight. I think I'll wear Christmas jumper & black suede mini but will have be short sleeved top under.

Gah - All Saints dress is perfect, but now in the sale. What to do? Do you think if I call them they will refund the difference?

Ive got a big night tomorrow so will be painting my nails dark navy tonight. Will probably wear my little black dress. We've then got a party to go to on Saturday afternoon.

dry ive just looked at the book you bought dh. Do you need to read them in series order? I might just get dm the first one.

I have a navy one that I wear a lot but I do need a belt to make it work. The chambray looks quite shiny in some of the pictures but I hope it's not like that IRL.

Nail polish is this one which I bought the other day. I love navy too but mine was more of a royal blue and I wanted something really dark.
Can totally see you in that shirt linus. Not so sure about the dress. How will you wear it?

QueenC you can read them individually, but I think the first was the best and then you could buy the others for her for birthdays etc that's about 3years' worth!

Looked at a venue for my big,but not mentioning it birthday party at the end of next year.........quite excited about it after a year I'll be in a frenzy of excitement

i am now on holiday! alas i have lots of work to do through the holiday though so it's not all done as yet. booooo.

one more bag of presents to wrap and then that's me done and dusted and ready for christmas day, at least dp doesnt expect ribbons and fancy bows 😝😝

I managed to paint my toenails last night for the first time in about 3 months (rouge noir), and today is the first day in ages that I'm wearing a bra, jeans not harems, AND a watch. Painted fingernails might be asking a bit much of myself haha!

So need to paint my nails - but with all the house cleaning (so dusty with the kitchen work) they are wrecked.
I am out tomorrow night at the local posh hotel again so I might wear the dress then Blair although technically it's a Christmas present from my DM.
We then have the party on Saturday - I went canapé mad today in Sainsbury's - the fridge is full of party food
I don't really need anything from the NaP sale - will keep an eye on denim as I could do with some skinnies but with DH's job back at risk I need to sit on hands for a while.
Loving hearing about all the Christmas dos people are going to - I miss the corporate socialising.

It's good you're starting to feel a bit better blair and yes, putting 'normal' clothes on helps a lot.

Rouge Noir reminds me of DM as it's her preferred winter nail varnish.

Forgot to say yay about the dress shop. It's always a good sign if you wear it immediately.

queenc I definitely need to wear it with a thin belt (like a shirt dress) otherwise that kind of dress will look like a sack on me. Ballet flats in spring and chelsea boots in winter would be my footwear of choice.

My preferred navy is Essie After School Boy Blazer. Very dark, nearly black but not as harsh.

1. tue outfit....leather pencil skirt, cream long sleeved cropped lace too, black ghillies inspired by Amber everyone else will be in trs, so leather skirt a bit different--
2. black cigarette trs, burgundy she'll top, burgundy PLaV courts. bit sick of trousers, but ADOREvthe shoes

Just painted my nails and I love it. Totally didn't want to spend opi prices but glad now that I did as I just couldn't find a cheaper brand with the right colour. linus I looked for that essie one but couldn't find it locally.

Dd and I have just naughtily opened the rest of the m&s advent calender! Ive been really impressed with the stuff and despite not being a beauty junkie I've enjoyed trying new stuff. The lipsticks and glosses are perfect for her too as they're lovely neutral colours rather than her wearing all my old cast offs of various reds/pinks. Ive fallen in love with some bubble bath but can't bring myself to buy it though as it's £26.
