Blair, I got brown myself, IMO I think it's more versatile.

Brown I think, they had them (long ) in Bicester for £110 before Christmas.

I was never going to keep just one pair was I? To be fair, this now sorts the gap in my wardrobe for daytime jeans as the GAP ones make me feel hideous and the denim isn't soft and hurts my knees. There's the justification right there. Now the links.....

Nice cut, finish on me just above the ankle bone, decent stretch. thanks to Lara and others for the recommendation. Two pairs for below the price of a pair of Paige so it's all good.
DH goes to the US at the end of the month - am very tempted to get a pair of Goldsigns as they are the perfect going out jeans but probably should stop now.
Was hoping the faux fur would be here for the night out tonight but I don't think it's going to happen.

Snap shop! I have just tried on my R&B skinnies and they are lovely. Very dark wash (Coventry), just the way I like it and nice and stretchy. I am keeping them on!

The only thing that's a bit odd is that the brown stitching on the legs is only on the inside leg. I could have done without that but it doesn't bother me.

Your blue ones are tempting but luckily they are out of my size.

Boring ootd for me, it's a sahm day today so black skinnies and ecru victoriana blouse, black funnel neck coat and black pistols with check B Republic scarf, GD cross body bag and black leather gloves for when I do the SR. It's a bit cold here, brr.

Stokey are you still shredding? Did I hear you say recently you were up to level three? I went back to it yesterday for first time in months, level one following Anita all the way but still feeling the pain today.

Had to post a pic of my shiny new manicure, never normally paint my fingernails but love this colour and shine, makes me . New year resolution is to pay more attention to health, fitness and grooming.

Ootd is grey ts skinnies, pale blue gap denim shirt, new black and white stans and new woolrich parka. Am tempted by a bag in Smythson sale, will link if I get it tomorrow.

ootd is grey skinny cords, oatmeal md ribbed long jumper with side splits, grey coat, black suede ankle boots and burgundy cashmere scarf.

Lovely colour mara. Ive been back on the shred too but only up to level 2 so far. Was going to attempt level 3 tomorrow but we had the instructor in circuits that likes to work us v v hard so have a feeling I may be unable to move in the morning! Ive lost 3lbs this week (same 3 that I lost prior to xmas and then put back on) so still have another 3 to go. These pesky pounds seem to have made themselves too much at home though.

Ootd is dark blue slim straight jeans, mango navy/white dotty blouse and damson Cardi. Accesorised with yeti eyebrows and pale lashes-can't wait till next friday to get them done. I am definitely not looking groomed or expensive at the moment

They are rather clumpy Blair but warm. I just can't buy anything for practicality alone though. I was thinking of these gershwin but I think the toe cap thing lets them down.

Wow justa, to me those Dune ones look like they were "inspired by" the Burberry pair. I really like them! Only thing is it says "warm lined" and I definitely want proper shearling.

QueenC I don't know, I have just been getting cold/numb feet recently. A friend recommended body brushing, maybe I'll try that, plus insoles for my Chelsea boots.

marsha I forgot to say last night that I love the jumpers you bought. The grey is a classic but the light blue could be a great colour for S/S.

Blair its so frustrating when you know exactly what you want but can't find it anywhere. The Dune boots look good though - can you put a shearling liner in them?

I am struggling with ankle boots - want similar to Ash jalouse really without the price tag if poss. Every boot I like is oos in my size - even the Ash Jalouse on The Dressing Room site where I have a 10% discount code.

I tried a couple of pairs of Sorel boots on today but have to say I wasn't keen - They looked too clumpy on me, I think long legs are needed! Am just about to order another style so will link later.

Dd1 was a bit ill today so was off school, dd2 was at home and DH was working from home, it's been a lovely chilled day. I've spent most of it reading in the living room with a lit fire, bliss.

I did get to L3 before Xmas Mara but fell off the bandwagon big time, put on hand a stone & need to restart. Got my period this week though so postponing til Monday and back to Anita on L1! Great nails BTW.

When & where are you planning on wearing your lined boots Blair? I've got a pair of fur-lined Adidas high tops which are very toasty and good weekend wear. But probably a bit casual for you?

Did you get any cashmere Topaz? I have a great Uniqlo one that is about 3 years old, but last year they were doing something they called "Lightweight" cashmere which is pants. Very thin almost see-through. Would you consider e-bay? I bought a black Brora cardie & red cropped v-neck a couple of years back for about £20 each. The v-neck was an odd cut but have worn the cardie loads.
