Tipped by a stylish friend, I had a moment with Harvey Nics today and ordered

Marant grey Fiji jumper as I adore the purple one I have. Cashmere / silk is such a nice combo

And then I threw this in too Equipment turquoise jumper as I saw it in Liberty and they didn't have my size. We'll see on this one.

Still have faced up to the Lanvins. Really want to love them but the colour looks funny, and it's always dark. So might have a look on the weekend.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/01/2016 21:04

Dry gorgeous top(s)!

Topaz your outfit sounds really fab, I bet you looked great.

Drywhitethanks · 07/01/2016 21:08

Great sweaters Marsha. You'll hate me but, if you don't immediately love the Lanvins I suspect you never will. I'm trying to stick to this rule, it's hard Smile

MarshaBrady · 07/01/2016 21:10

I haven't really tried them on yet. Will try one more time properly before deciding.

But yeh will only keep if perfect, too ££

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/01/2016 21:15

Keep missing posts. Marsha good discounts on the sweaters, sounds like you're not sure on the blue one but I think it'll suit you. :) Yes, try the Lanvins at the weekend when there's a chance of daylight.

Karcheer · 07/01/2016 21:27

I've bought two bras and matching knickers (they are very boring tshirt bras) and two pairs of very dark blue topshop jeans, I'll use these for everyday dog walking.

I need some warm tops, and something else I can wear under my ivory Stella mcartney blazer in the evenings.

Larastheme · 07/01/2016 21:30

shop hope the R&B work for you, Smile,

I apologise to you all but its impossible to keep up on who bought what/planing to buy, have been away so long, so will kick start from here,

fedup cool hat

Beautiful tops dry

marsha lovely marant ,no idea what lanvin , but I agree with dry,

My only sale purchase is saint laurent blazer, probably the most perfect blazer under the sun,its just the fit I'm after, not fitted on the body, but a bit slim on the the shoulders.

FedupNagging · 07/01/2016 22:24

I did a long post about 30 minutes ago - where's it gone?! Soo frustrating.

Basically said I loved Marsha's equipment top, Dry's cream top and pointed out that the colours in the dress Karcheer posted would be perfect for an autumn.

Also commiserated with Shop re her dental treatment and Blair for the boots.

Seem to also remember remarking on how soft the leather looks on Topaz's warehouse jacket.

There was lots more but can't remember it all and anyway, am headed to bed.

Waves to Lara

shopafrolic · 07/01/2016 22:27

Thanks Lara - they should be here tomorrow :) Will report back. The Outnet warehouse seems to have moved to 10 mins from my house so I should get super speedy delivery from now on.
Love that IM sweater Marsha. Tempted by the grey but am in bed now and can't be bothered to go downstairs for my bank card (probably a good thing too). Fab discount.

shopafrolic · 07/01/2016 22:28

Maybe I should get a part time job at the Outnet packing boxes (and nicking stock) Grin

Topazandpearl · 07/01/2016 22:37

Interesting that you mentioned cashmere/silk combo Marsha as I have been looking at a black cardigan which is 50/50 and debating whether it would be better than 100% cashmere. I need to replace my current fine-knit merino one which has developed a couple of ladders in the sleeves. I like both those jumpers btw.

That jacket is very soft fedup. I have had it a couple of years but had kind of gone off it this year. However I have started liking it again. It is light enough to wear indoors, which is useful.

Nice to see you Lara. Blazer sounds fab.

Drywhitethanks · 08/01/2016 07:30

Fingers crossed that my JV red slippers arrive today have left friendly note for delivery man

Not sure whether Ootd working for me today. Trying a fit and flare Zara maxi skirt in grey/black tweedy fabric with skinny black polo neck, black boots and big belt. Not sure whether I feel fabulous or frumpy, at least I feel thin Hmm

shopafrolic · 08/01/2016 08:07

The IM sweater that Marsha linked was still available in my size this morning so after a rushed text convo about sizing and sleeves I have jumped on the bandwagon and ordered. I got sucked in by the outfit pic which is basically what I wear on a daily basis (and featured my Crisi boots). here
So that should be me sorted. Waiting for deliveries of the faux fur, the jeans to try and keep ONE pair (help may be required) and the sweater. Sale shopping mission completed.

FedupNagging · 08/01/2016 08:11

Love the colour combo of this skirt its total the wrong style for me so somebody please buy it!

Good work Shop.

Stokey · 08/01/2016 08:32

I'm thinking I may jump on the R&B jeans bandwagon. Anyone know what the sizing is like? Although what suits Shop is unlikely to work on me, tall & straight vs short & curvy!

FedupNagging · 08/01/2016 09:00

Ootd is H&M grey stretchy pencil skirt, new red funnel neck jumper, grey opaques and Next otk boots in black. Will wear gap herringbone blazer with red lining when I go out and cos grey cashmere scarf.

Love what I'm wearing today - all high street with the exception of the jumper so can't imagine I look 'expensive' Wink

Have just read that Atterley have ceased trading, what a shame.

shopafrolic · 08/01/2016 09:29

Stokey mine are due for delivery so I can take some pics and let you know on sizing.....
Blimey re: Atterley - tough market out there at the moment. Bad news for those expecting refunds from the looks of things......
OOTD blue GAP skinnies - black chunky knit Vince sweater and Pistols. With GAP herringbone blazer and an oversized scarf that I was given for Christmas which I think is the wrong shade of burgundy (e.g. not enough blue) in it. Sorry mine are always so dull but SAHM uniform is fairly standard.

libertydoddle · 08/01/2016 09:31

Well done shop.

fedup I love that Marni skirt. Sadly I would need a 12.

dry outfit sounds lovely. Maybe something pretty to soften it like a scarf or drop earrings?

stokey have you ever tried River Island for jeans? I am curvy and love their Jenna jeans. They haven't washed as well as my Paige jeans so planning to replace soon (after about 6 months heavy wear) but at £40 I can live with that.

Marsha great sweaters.

OOTD forest green midi length Cos dress, black opaques, tan R&B heeled ankle boots, usual rose gold skagen watch, long accessorise pendant with green jewelled beatle, gold bangle, shops rust Chloe peacoat (cold today) and navy pliage. Love this look!

libertydoddle · 08/01/2016 09:33

Cross post shop your OOTD sounds v chic and not at all boring.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 08/01/2016 09:41

morning all

waiting for dleiveries before i have to go out to pick some things up. i am frozen!

OOTD is navy skinnies, black ribbed vet top, chiffon green, white and navy tartan oversize shirt, bright pink cable knit cashmere sweater, same jewellery as yesterday

safetyzone · 08/01/2016 10:15

Morning everyone. Night out last night was a success - had a good time and no hangover either (tired though!).

OOTD Lemaire Uniqlo sweater (bought on ebay, the shame), Japanese brand floral pleated skirt in black and beige print, Wolford woollen tights and brown nubuck pistols.

This pair also arrived but unfortunately it's very a bit tight. Can't return either as they've been altered by the shop already. Might just have to slim down into them Shock

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/01/2016 10:52

shop nice one on the jumper, but I can't believe that you don't have your bank card details memorised Grin I do and it comes in handy for ordering at work...!!

OOTD... J crew navy pencil skirt again, bright green Equipment cashmere jumper, opaques and shoe boots.

safetyzone · 08/01/2016 10:57

Forgot to mention, River Island OTK boots also arrived. Keepers I think, can totally imagine myself wearing them under skirts or sweater dresses.

QueenC · 08/01/2016 11:31

Morning. Ootd was muddy exercise gear and now dressing gown before I jump in the shower Grin.
shop not boring at all but I know what you mean. I'm enjoying having a little bit of variety in my wardrobe now I'm working again.
Haven't had time to look at all the links as ive just spent hours looking at navy trousers as my cropped ones just don't work in winter. Ive just ordered £400 worth from HOF to try. That includes a jacket and dress too which I doubt are keepers but thought I may as well add as I'll be returning loads anyway.

What colour Uggs should I go for - black or dark brown? They're in the sale so I'll link after I buy. Obv the Burberry ones were black, and my only casual outerwear (biker jacket) is black, but I wonder if brown would look better with casual outfits generally? Can't decide...
