Loving all the posts. I've bought lots in the sales Blush have kept the following cheap and cheerful items:

FC heels

FC polka dress

FC dress

FC jumper

Zara jumpsuit

Zara printed dress Not too sure re this, any thoughts?

Sequin dress this hasn't arrived yet so will see..

Zara crossover dress even full price this was so cheap but I love it in real life!

Heels with bow

Amber I think that would have been divorce for me! Grin

Haven't had my Soho Disco off my shoulder since I got it for Christmas and love my new Skagen watch off..

I'm also loving the 'expensive' thread Grin and the bloggers one..

shopafrolic · 04/01/2016 16:03

That Stella top is just fab Mara v cool.
Blair glad you're making it through.
New boots and a haircut for DS today, Pizza Express lunch and then the zoo. He's ready to go back to school now - misses his friends, and I think the novelty of being around mummy and daddy so much is wearing off Grin

FedupNagging · 04/01/2016 16:28

Oh Mara you little rebel Grin. Love the SM blouse.

Justa your weekend sounded great. I love the colour of the mini marcie.

Blair hope you managed to get through your first day back at work today.

Marsha took a while to work out your question - clothes on tap would be indi & cold skinnies, already shortened.

Great GD jacket Kitty

Fingers crossed you sort out your washing machine Queen.

The Woolovers order arrived but all needs returning as everything is too big - you did warn me - hopefully they'll have the size down in stock. Will link when not on stoopid iPad.

Am now trotting over to the looking expensive thread.....

QueenC · 04/01/2016 16:29

Love that Zara jumpsuit Happy v cool, and the bow heels :)

shopafrolic · 04/01/2016 16:37

Linus I keep meaning to say there are Rails shirts in the Dressing Room sale and they ship abroad :)

LinusLovesBretons · 04/01/2016 18:03

Thanks shop, you've reminded me that I have three Rails shirts I haven't worn for a while. Blush

mara love that top and my DS would love it too.

happy I really like that polka dot dress but I would have to wear it with opaques as it seems very short. Or maybe the model is very tall. Wink

Sooo tired (woke up at 4.30) and my back has been hurting all day so I think it'll be an early night for me after a bath with some lovely Aromatherapy Associates bath oils. ££££ but soo lovely.

KittyHello · 04/01/2016 19:14

Mara Grin at unfolding the jumpers

Great purchases Happy loved the FC dresses, re: printed Zara dress it's hard to say really as it's not me but on the right person it could look great, what's your initial reaction when you try it on is it wow this looks great or are you undecided?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/01/2016 19:26

I made it :)

Linus hope you enjoy your bath and feel better.

Kitty great jacket, and forgot to say I'm glad you finally took the plunge on the bag!

I love proper chatty threads on S&B, not the usual "what shall I wear on a night out" thing. It's really fun to see everyone's opinions and then take refuge over here in our safe space.

Hello Happy, love a list of links, that FC sweater is fab and the colour to die for. I like the Zara dress, think it would look really cute with some nice flats.

shopafrolic · 04/01/2016 19:35

Whoop - well done Blair

LinusLovesBretons · 04/01/2016 19:47

Wrong colour for me but I love the shape poncho

Maybe for karcheer?

MarshaBrady · 04/01/2016 19:50

Blair well done! How are you feeling now?

Linus that bath sounds luxurious, hope you have a good night sleep tonight.

Shop how is your dh?

Blingy I meant to your lovely words earlier, made my day. It's good to have different styles, eg I love the idea of Roland Mouret for work but I'd feel funny, probably.

Ran home on first day back to work - I needed it. Just kept thinking all that Christmas cheese as I ran.

Drywhitethanks · 04/01/2016 20:02

Well done Blair glad it went well.

Marsha got home after work, tucked into left over Camembert , wish I hadn't Sad

Rather stressful day...DD has a rumble appendix. Up during night , Dr today, but because it was a bit better he said to "see how it goes"....DH away , I'm on tenter hooks. I've done my time in hospital with DD last year ....wish they'd just taken it out and had done . Darn

Drywhitethanks · 04/01/2016 20:03

DS last year!

shopafrolic · 04/01/2016 20:15

DH seems better. He's gone to his Wing Chun class tonight so must be. Hmm
Dry sounds stressy. Hope she improves.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/01/2016 20:58

Hope she is ok Dry and that it keeps getting better.

I'm feeling ok thanks Marsha :), tired, but I was going to have an early night anyway.

Glad your DH is feeling perkier shop! Was he back at work today?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/01/2016 20:59

Random question, and I'm sure it varies by brand, but anyone that has shearling lined boots - do you tend to need to size up because of it? Or do they accommodate that in the sizing?

QueenC · 04/01/2016 21:12

shop what's wing chun?
blair glad you survived
dry poor dd and you
linus hope your bath is good
happy love the colour of the jumper. I'm personally not sure about the dress at all but difficult without knowing you and what you look like.

Longislandicetee · 04/01/2016 21:13

Marsha, I genuinely couldn't imagine you in a RM dress, it would just be so conventional and so wrong.Grin

Glad to hear mrShop is better and you too Blair.

Happy, I loved the Zara Heels with the bow most, reminded me of the red pair I was trying to get for Sleep in New York. Also loved the jumpsuit. I am afraid I don't like the printed dress, don't think it flatters the model so it wouldn't do anything for me!

Hope your machine is sorted out QueenC.

If anyone has any hotel recommendations for Spain in late August, I would love to hear them. That's where dh suggested after I suggested the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Paphos. He says he doesn't want to go to Greece, Cyprus or Italy this year. 5 star and family friendly are the main requirements!

KittyHello · 04/01/2016 21:15

Blair with the Pistols I just bought my normal size, in fact my non shearling pair feel a bit more roomier.

FedupNagging · 04/01/2016 21:18

How did I miss your links earlier Happy?! Great haul and love the tassel jumper and shoes. Hmm, not sure about the printed dress - would need to see it on. How would you style it?

It took me about 90 minutes to wade through the looking expensive thread Shock but I kept getting distracted with the links. Great thread though and even though everyone has differing opinions, not a bunfight in sight!

Glad you had a good day today Blair. Great comments on the other thread too.

Dry hope your dd is ok.

justasecond · 04/01/2016 21:20

Blair well done for making it through the day. I tried on some shearling lined pistols the other day and I would have needed my usual size 40 they looked quite big on my feet so they must accommodate the shearling in the sizing. No experience of any others I'm afraid.
Hope your dd is better soon dry
well done on the run Marsha ages since I did any exercise but my class starts again on weds, I will be useless by the weekend.
Great shopping Happy and so jealous of your Gucci disco!

Has anyone tried any of the hourglass powders? I quite like the look of the blushers but didn't get to see any in London to try

safetyzone · 04/01/2016 21:25

Good evening! First day back at work as well, so tired both DH and I dozed off while settling DDs to bed Blush

Also had a not so great weekend, somehow lost one of my diamond earrings yesterday in the house, nowhere to be seen. Put in another pair of studs for now but I'm still mourning my old ones Sad AND our kettle has stopped working.

On a positive note, my APC playsuit arrived. On the model it looked really short but because I'm short it comes to above knee I think. Will try it out properly in the morning maybe? Might save it for the night out this Thursday.

I share your Aromatherapy Associates love, Linus. I don't have the oils anymore but I loved the sample set I got for one Xmas. Also like the poncho, looks really cosy.

Sorry to hear about your DD Dry.

Well done Blair, hope the rest of the week goes well too.

Glad your DH is better shop.

Great shopping happy, like the jumpsuit as well.

Does anyone cycle to work? It's difficult to think of stylish outfits to wear that are cycle friendly, without ruining clothes.

safetyzone · 04/01/2016 21:26

Justa, I have the hourglass powders (not the blush), I love dim light, it really gives a blurred effect on the skin, it's amazing.

QueenC · 04/01/2016 21:29

Anyone watching ant&dec and prince Charles? Ive never heard a Camilla speak. I imagine she'd be a right laugh after a couple of proseccos.
