shop if only. My workplace has 15 people in it and "HR" is my boss, who spoke to me somewhat arsily when I first got signed off. This is what has got me so worried, and now I'm feeling as tired/achy as I did about 2 weeks ago. So annoying! I just want to be better and go in and work, but am scared I will get 2 days in or whatever and feel worse again. I know there's no point worrying so I'm trying to keep my mind off it.

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 14:38

Blair good luck at work, hope it's ok.

Kitty love the Maje and congratulations on the bag!

I'm back tomorrow too, after a week of cheese, wine, scrabble and cluedo (great game isn't it, had forgotten) I will have to readjust.

Longislandicetee · 03/01/2016 15:18

Hello everyone! Grim day!

Blair hope you take it easy even if you feel under pressure to return to work.

Hope MrShop is better.

We are in the middle of returning the house to its normal pre Christmas state. Lots of things need to go back to their pre Christmas state..... I stood on the scales this morning and almost wailed!Grin

Drywhitethanks · 03/01/2016 15:30

Blingy I darent get on the scales.
Blair can totally understand why you feel pressure to get back, but you need to prioritise your health, done go back too soon.

Currently on motorway home. Horrendous driving conditions, but scary really Sad I'm a bad passenger

I'm dreading getting up early for work tomorrow, but looking forward to getting back and into a routine.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/01/2016 15:35

It is grim isn't it Blingy, think that's partly why I am moaning so much, enough misery from me!

I'm going to make a resolution, which is to post more (work) OOTDs on here as it'll be a good incentive to make them a bit more interesting.

QueenC · 03/01/2016 16:04

blair ive been reading the blogger thread too but have so far been too scared to comment. Hope tomorrow goes ok.
shop if he has ongoing back pain then it's definitely worth getting checked out.

We just met dh when he finished work and went for lunch. Decided to try and emulate you lot by wearing heels during the day but wish I hadn't. Small heels I can do. The big heels of my navy boots had me feeling totally over dressed. Used the new MK bag though Smile. Love that I don't have to cart round loads of crap for the dc so much anymore.

Me too QueenC, sometimes I just wear a coat and put keys, card and phone. No bag Shock

shopafrolic · 03/01/2016 20:47

I've always been rubbish about carrying stuff for DS. Feel free to pass your handbags to me if you don't need them now Marsha don't ask, don't get

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 20:51

ha Shop I have so few. I have one orange Celine in action, which may need an update soon.

I do use the big blue one when I travel. Shove all the plane stuff in it, the trio is too small.

If I even bought another one, would it be another orange trio, is there a time when one should switch to something else?!

shopafrolic · 03/01/2016 21:15

If it works........

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 21:24

I feel a Vogue question coming on...

If you could have one thing on tap for free. What would you happily replace in your wardrobe first, for the longest time?

Longislandicetee · 03/01/2016 21:52

I am being really thick Marsha I don't understand the question!Blush

Blair moan away lovey, I think after your rubbish few weeks you're entitled to!

Dh goes back to work tomorrow, he's been so relaxed these last 2 weeks, I would love another week of him just like this. I have now booked our annual CP weekend. So far have organised 2 weekends away and the long haul trip, I am at home tomorrow so will get the May half term one done. If I don't pin dh down now they will never get booked!

Back on a fashion note, I can't believe that today is the last day of the Selfridges sale and I haven't bought anythingShock

QueenC · 03/01/2016 21:55

marsha if you're talking about stuff on tap for free I'll have Prosecco please Grin!

QueenC · 03/01/2016 21:57

Total non vogue question...can anyone recommend a washing machine?

Stokey · 03/01/2016 22:04

Good luck for everyone going back to work tomorrow, especially Blair. It's tough working in a small office for things like that but do leave early if you're not feeling up to it, otherwise you'll just take longer to fully recover.

I thought the bloggers thread got a bit mean & personal tbh. There seems to be a bit of an attitude that they put themselves out there so are fair game.

I don't understand either Marsha, 1 item free on tap? Like boots or bags?

I feel bloated too, need to get back to healthy eating & doing some exercise, think I may stay dry too after the excess of NYE!

Stokey · 03/01/2016 22:08

We got a Bosch one this year QueenC, very happy with it.

KittyHello · 03/01/2016 22:09

Queen my current one is rubbish but I once had a good AEG one.

Marsha sorry I also don't quite get your question.

Blair good luck for tomorrow, can't be nice knowing that your employer is not wholly sympathetic towards your illness Flowers

I'm back to work tomorrow, it's going to be a shock to the system, I've been waking up at 9am most mornings Shock Diet starts tomorrow too, need to lose those Xmas pounds before they turn in stone(s).

QueenC · 03/01/2016 22:11

Thanks stokey. I started a thread in chat and someone else suggested Bosch. They do seem to fulfil my wishlist although sadly it's £600 but needs must as my current washing machine is leaking water.

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 22:16

Oh crap Grin

In the spirit of me thinking about getting another orange trio. What one item in your wardrobe would you happily have replaced above all other things you have?

if no one gets this I'll have to start posting in my native language Wink

KittyHello · 03/01/2016 22:18

Ah gotcha now Grin my grey shearling Acne Pistols, i want to wear them forever!

shopafrolic · 03/01/2016 22:26

Phew! I didn't understand what she meant either. Grin
Mine would be my Pistols too. Might replace with shearling though..... Toasty.

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 22:28

She!

Wink
MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 22:29

I still have my shearling pistols from last year. Hasn't been cold enough to wear yet

MarshaBrady · 03/01/2016 22:34

Blingy re the expensive thread, you looked expensive too and I was secretly pleased you sat near Momin. Like two worlds colliding Grin

Would put this on there but people won't know what I'm on about except on here

justasecond · 03/01/2016 22:41

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! xxx
Had a great time even with the rain. Took the dc to winter wonderland, the science and v&a museums and of course the shops for me! I was tempted to blow all my birthday cash on this mini marcie but decided to be sensible and think about it. Does anyone here have this one? I wonder if it is too small for me as I am quite tall.
I bought this coat to wear in spring and wore it straight away as it was so wet looks better irl and thesetrousers not as tight fitting irl.
Hope poor MrShop is feeling better. Come to think of it my dh gets ill every holidays with an annoying cough I wonder if its the same thing.
Love the Maje jumper and bag Kitty great buys.
Queenc my mum got a Bosch one recently that she is pleased with. JL said it was their best selling one. I will see if I can link as I ordered it for her.
Marsha hmm not sure but maybe a grey coat as I always have one of some sort and wear it to death.
