Ooooh a MNV baby! That would be so fab and get me so broody!!

We are in tonight, dcs are finally down and dh currently doing something gadgety. Have opened the champers while I wait for him!

Think I am going to watch a film, there's nothing on TV! Is that normal on nye?Shock

I have to 'fess up to Mara being the only one to correctly understand my rambling bag post. BlushWink

shopafrolic · 31/12/2015 21:43

F@ck me bLingy you're buying them all?????? That's uber impressive even by your standards Grin

KittyHello · 31/12/2015 21:58

Wow Blingy mammoth bag buying, how fantastic, what colour Nano will you have? [green]

shopafrolic · 31/12/2015 22:06

DH has gone to bed Shock

AmberNectarine · 31/12/2015 22:09

one I love my cat like a baby. Really hope she's ok xx

Longislandicetee · 31/12/2015 22:18

Blush yes I have been thinking about all 4 at various times this year. the only reason I haven't got any of them is because.... the Chloe Paddington - I can't find one I like still in v good condition; nano - I need to pick the colour (that requires a decision which requires time!); Givenchy - that's the one I am dubious about; Neverfull- dsis isn't a massive fan of the one I got her, so I am thinking of getting her the one she does like and swapping it for the one I gave her. But I don't want to offend her, I just want her to be happy so I remain indecisive. So if all the planets aligned then yes I would get all 4 but more likely 3 out of the 4. waits for lurker to nip in and tell me to get a bench

By the way just seen FB photos of Dry who looks beautiful!

KittyHello · 31/12/2015 22:33

Shop we'll keep you company, dh is watching Mrs. Brown's Boys film, he/she gets on my nerves so I am in the other room.

Blingy ah that makes sense, in a MNV way Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 31/12/2015 22:58

Blingy I totally missed that! But did think the 4 bags all sounded really different Grin

One sorry to hear about Onecat, hope it's not as bad as it seems and she will recover soon x

Enjoy the last hour of 2015 everyone. Fireworks already started here! xxx

shopafrolic · 31/12/2015 23:17

Love you all but am calling it a night. Only so much rubbish TV I can watch in one night. Happy New Year to you all. Big love guys X

Topazandpearl · 31/12/2015 23:59

Happy New Year Voguettes! Here's to a happy, healthy and stylish 2016.

Catching up on the last few pages:
Agree with lib and Amber , I feel I should up my grooming too. I was told off by a sales assistant in duty free recently gorgeous the state of my nails Blush. I hope your aunt is recovering well lib. (is this the one who lives near where I used to?)

Shop^, Karcheer I hope you feel brighter soon. Good luck for the job shop*.

Your honeymoon plans sound great Blair. I will want to pick up tips on HK from those of you who have been there as we are going there this summer. It will be us and the DC (first all-family holiday for 4 years as DC have been doing their own thing for the last few years). We had two holidays in 2015 - a week in Boston in May, which was lovely, and a weekend in Düsseldorf, visiting DS who is currently working there. Moving house put paid to any summer holiday - but I don't grudge that. We have lots of plans for the new house so, apart from HK, we'll see how that impacts on other holiday plans.

I hope your cat is ok one.

Waves to everyone.

Looking forward to doing better at keeping up with you all in 2016, and to the mu in January.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/01/2016 00:13

Happy new year!!

VivaVegas · 01/01/2016 08:58

Happy new year to you all, hope you had a good evening whatever you did and that 2016 is a good year for you.
I've only been on this thread since the Summer but enjoy it and given I had to think hard about any fashion disasters for this year earlier this week it appears that it is making me think more about what I buy. The few key sales purchases I've made so far are also another sign as normally I'd just go mad!
Shame I can't make it to the January MU but will definitely try and get to one this year if I can.
Here's to a crisp and frosty New Years Day, be nice to get a cosy jumper and boots on and head out for a walk later!

Karcheer · 01/01/2016 09:17

MORNING!!! shouts loudly in case anyone has a headache

QueenC · 01/01/2016 09:29

Sshhh karcheer. My head hurts Grin

Our friends who were just popping round ended up staying all night so we had a really lovely time in the end. Drank way too much Prosecco but I'm off the booze now for 3 weeks. I would do dry January but obviously I can't not drink in Dublin!

lib hope your aunt is ok.
one not silly at all. My cats are my babies especially as I had them before dc. We are here to hand hold.

Not looking forward to today. Dc stayed up and 2 out of 3 are up which means tired, grumpy children for the rest of the day!

Happy New Year gorgeous voguettes. May 2016 be filled with love, happiness and new clothes!

Queen and anyone else nursing a hangover with small tired children, I hope your day isn't too painful remembers with horror numerous NYD's with massive hangovers and 3 stroppy kids.

The party last night was great; our hosts arranged for a piper to pipe in the new year which was definitely the highlight of my evening.

One am sending positive vibes to Onecat

Kitty love the first boots you linked, they are a definite possibility. I'm size 4.5 or 5 especially if the fit is narrow.

I have been trying to persuade dh to join me in doing dry January he's not keen but then looked in my diary and saw we have loads of social events to go to so there is no chance. I can't imagine a MU without lots of Wine for starters!

safetyzone · 01/01/2016 10:03

Happy New Year everyone! As a lot of you know each other for a long time I feel like a gatecrasher but I hope to contribute more this year.

New Year Resolution - less impulse buying. Write more.

BTW Topaz I grew up in HK so if you need any tips or recs let me know. Most of my family are also still there. And I'll be in HK at Easter.

I had a rather uneventful night, watched Spectre with DH and hardly drank anything, I'm not very good with alcohol at the moment.

Hope you all had a good time.

MarshaBrady · 01/01/2016 10:06

Safety it's always great to have new people, you're very welcome

Had a good night, laughed ate and drank. DC up at normal time and doing craft. I don't feel bad luckily.

safetyzone · 01/01/2016 10:20

Thank you Marsha Flowers

Back to the topic of shopping I'm thinking of getting these: OTN boots

Thoughts? I can't really justify a real suede pair and when I saw them in the shop they looked good quality.

Longislandicetee · 01/01/2016 11:01

Happy new year Voguettes and lurkers!

To those I have known a while, thank you for your friendship, which means the world to me, and, thank you for sharing your love of fashion with me. 2015 was full of lovely memories of each of you, whether it was because we had a nice chat at an MU, or virtually, or you gave me great fashion or life advice. The other thing is that so many of you inspire me in very different ways which you probably don't even realise but which make positive difference to my life, and has encouraged me to be braver and try new things last year. Oh, and thank you for the many times you have made me laugh!

To those of you I don't know as well, I am really glad you have joined the thread bringing new links and perspectives. I hope our virtual acquaintance will also grow into friendship.

To those of you who lurk but never post, please do join in. Don't think you need to buy all the time to join in (I tend to buy in 2 bursts a year at sales time) and don't think you need the budget of the Ecclestones to join in (that's actually the minority of us on the thread). You will be welcomed with big open arms and it will be one of your best decisions of 2016.Smile

libertydoddle · 01/01/2016 11:22

Hear, hear blingy. What a lovely post Smile

So I crawled into bed at 5.30am.... Had a lovely night drinking hot whiskies and putting the world to rights with my brothers. Drinking tea and eating biscuits now to recover.

MarshaBrady · 01/01/2016 11:53

Blingy I love your post, and completely agree with everything you say. You have all helped me through some tougher times as well as the good, I really appreciate it more than I can say.

Lib sounds perfect and well done for that bedtime! Impressed.

Safety go for it, do you have an idea for outfits to wear them with?

One of course, it's natural, I love the term cheese stealer, your poor kitty and you too.

I had a start yesterday when I tried to buy the Lanvin flats and it wouldn't work. All the sizes were selling out, except mine.

So this morning I ordered blush Lanvin flats ready for summer. I've wanted this colour for all the years I've bought them, always wishing I could get this colour instead.

Ok have finally bought something in the sales, might have a look for more.

LinusLovesBretons · 01/01/2016 12:58

Happy New Year lovely MNVoguettes!

What a great post blingy! I agree with all you've said and I just wish I libed closer to you so we could meet up IRL a lot more often.

I am joining lib on the hangover bench as I am still in my pj's trying to undo last night's damage. Mental note: when you're guests have left, go to bed yourself and don't open another bottle. linus you're not 21 anymore.

justasecond · 01/01/2016 13:08

Happy new year to everyone! hope 2016 is full of health, happiness and style for us all.
Some lovely heartwarming posts on here.
Hope your auntie is better soon Lib
and poor little onecat Flowers
Gorgeous colour flats Marsha great when you can find something you have wanted for ages in the sale.
I like the first boots too Kitty
dh and dc have surprised me with a weekend stay in London for my birthday. We are heading off after lunch today for 2 nights I am so excited we don't live far from London but really don't take advantage. We had a little early birthday party with my family last night, it was perfect.
I hope to keep up with you all a bit more this year and make a MU finally!
(maybe even the one in Jan)

I am now thinking of spending my birthday money on something frivolous....

safetyzone · 01/01/2016 13:22

Marsha, am thinking under sweater dresses, have seen people wearing on top of skinny jeans, will have to experiment on that!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/01/2016 14:21

justa is it your birthday today? Happy birthday if so! Cake Flowers Hope you have a lovely time away, what a fab present.

Happy new year everyone! (again) Had a fun time last night with only a sip of champagne at 12, drank lots of fizzy grape juice instead. The view of London at midnight was amazing, fireworks everywhere you looked, the landscape was fizzing Grin Shame my phone takes such rubbish pics but the big explosion was the Eye.

Blingy love your post, also hope some lurkers decide to make joining in their NY resolution!

Marsha yay on the flats!

Linus and QueenC feel better soon :)

I haven't made any sale purchases since before Christmas, what is wrong with me?!
