Shop that's exciting. Will be fab to see what you go for. I rebooted the other work today, feel like I finally have the head space for it. Have a fresh clean slate to work on over the next few months. Looking forward to it. I haven't done anything since I sold in Feb! But work does make it harder.

I think whatever you do will be the right thing, and if not you can always change direction.

Happy NYE Voguettes!

Where we are it is quite a big celebration, we are just going to a friends for a dinner party, will be fun but have had a style fail, went to get my hair blow dried this morning as couldn't be bothered tackling my mane with the crappy hotel hairdryer and paid over 60 euros to look like Lynn from Alan partridge Xmas Shock. Met dh and his friends at cafe afterwards and they laughed out loud so I saw the funny side too. Has dropped and calmed down a bit now but made me realise nothing wrong with my usual natural look!

Wish you all health and happiness for 2016. Can't make jan mu but will sort an evening one soon for those who are up for it.

Blair ooh, exciting news, honeymoon, baby plans and all. Love, love HK.

Marsha was in the lanvin store earlier and thought of you. Nice shoe display. Tried the sugar bag, really like it and think may be on the agenda for potential big purchase next year. Also went to celine but dh doesn't like/get the minimalism of it and killed the fun.

We already celebrated at lunch time with white truffle pasta and franciacorta, now chilling for a bit. Hope you all have lovely evenings and repeat Shop's sentiment that am so happy to have you all as friends. Xx

Oh and maybe I misunderstood but thought that Blingy was planning to get ALL those bags, not asking for help choosing between them?? Grin I think MK works for you B as part of the groomed NY upper east side look. Read an interview with the Estée Lauder woman aerin who said over half her wardrobe is MK.

It's from the emoji phone keyboard... I think you have to manually add extra keyboards in settings, at least I did on my iPhone. Then some of them show up on MN desktop (I think the smiley faces) and some don't. But at least some people will see the fizz!

Shop sounds like you're ready for a new challenge, whichever way you decide to go :) I'm thinking of it too and it's scary, but I'm sure you'd do well at either.

We are off to a local restaurant, just the two of us, we can walk :)
I think I'm going to wear my khaki zarita, with black thick tights and patent louboutins (they aren't that high so easy to walk in) I wanted to wear my new White Stella McCartney blazer and leather trousers but realised I'd given my white silk vest to the dry cleaner and have nothing else that'll go.

I know I keep going on about but my wardrobe is hopeless :(

Mara that made me laugh but no way, you couldn't look like that. I remember my high school ball hair do made me cry. Like a sheep on top of a pulled back croydon pony tail (although I didn't know about Croydon back then). I know what it's like but glad it made you laugh not cry Grin

Also wanted to answer the questions from the other day:

  1. Best buys- Marant cluster boots and stans.
  2. Regrets- pair of tod's flats in summer sale that are too tight, sized down but shouldn't have. That's all I can think of though, am a much more considered shopper since joining the thread and enjoying not having overflowing wardrobes.
  3. In 2016 would like to lose a stone, get a medium sized handbag, start up running and yoga properly again, oh and find paid employment.

Final resolution from me. Wear more cobalt blue. I only have one Hush loungewear top in it and even DH commented how good the colour is (never happens).

Hello all. Trying to muster up the enthusiasm to get blinged up and pop the prosecco. We went for a big lunch an now we're all knackered. It's probably lucky that friends are popping round otherwise I'd be tempted to go to bed.

Echoing other people's thoughts, I feel lucky to have you ladies in my life. It's a bizarre friendship but it totally works and I cannot imagine not talking to you guys most days every day. No doubt I will be back at some point during the night but if not happy new year Wine

i think mine is public Shop but i'm not worried about it, i don't post anything i wouldn't be happy with my mum or son seeing!

i am feeling very blue tonight, my cat doesn't seem to be getting properly better and she's starting to display some worrying symptoms and i'm very afraid it's going to mean she will have to be PTS. obviously, if that IS the best thing for her then it's what i'll do but i'm devastated at the thought of it, she's my girl, my companion, my cheese stealer. i'm taking her to the vets next week and will go from there 😢😢

We've booked a holiday already for 2016, well just flights, gone a bit off piste and in a different direction to what I originally thought I wanted but am excited. Also thinking about some city breaks too, am looking forward to hearing about everyone's holiday plans.

Thanks again for welcoming me into this great group, sorry I haven't been on here as regularly as I would have liked and was gutted to miss all the MUs this year but hopefully will see all/most you in 2016. Being on this thread has definitely changed how I shop and how I dress for the better and I look forward to fine tuning that even more in 2016 with.

Have a great NYE everyone, we're staying in, have cracked open the fizz already, am eating the last of the cheese and chocolates tonight before the regime starts tomorrow. xx
