Yup Marsha it has poured solidly for 2 days, my village is flooding....but it is subsisting now thank goodness. A lot of poor people loosing their homes.

Had a lovely day with the ILs yesterday. Today I am going to hit the sales (sorry I'm a day late QueenC). Also need to take the lovely bag DH bought me back to Selfridges as they left the security tag on (they also did this on my cashmere gloves, grrr). He also got me the Charlotte Olympia kitty flats, so he did very well!

Have ordered a couple of sales bits already: these boots and this ring which blingy might like!

Had a small, family, chilled Christmas here which was lovely, also had a nice day at the ILs yesterday, feeling a bit bunged up today though, have just taken some Lemsip to help me survive the day.

No sales shopping for me yet, I'm being a bit boring, have looked but nothing has caught my eye, must try harder!

We've had a fantastic few days so having a quiet and possiblyalcohol free day today as we still have a few events to attend next week.

The first (& I think only) time I met you Shop, you'd just bought some Tom Ford perfume. I definitely agree with the others, if you love it and will wear it, get it.

Having repeatedly asked me to do a Xmas wish list, dh then didn't get a single thing from it . However, what i did get was lovely including a pair of Hot Diamonds earrings which I really like so crisis averted!

I have started to have a look in the sales and about to hit purchase on a pair of boots - will link when I have them. Have also got my eye on a couple of things from BR, J Crew and Hush. Shop what are the merino wool jumpers like from Woolovers? They have a good selection of colours and I've banned myself from buying black, blue and grey!

Not yet Fedup Dh is buzz killing and says they'll get ruined. He has just transferred some ££ to go to the Marant shop opposite because he wants to guilt-free buy a guitar

We're out sans DC and there is no one here. Our friend who always served us keeps filling my glass with champers. I have no idea what we'll be charged.

Fedup I like Woolovers - good quality, size down especially if they are unisex.

I've a coat crisis day. I had bought this Hobbs camel coat and I really like it. But then today in JL I saw this one which is a perfect match for the kingfisher shade in my colour swatch book and is one of my 100% ** colours. It's also a more versatile shape and length so I bought it and I'm going to return the camel one. I thought about keeping it too as it is gorgeous but I'd like boots and new work dress as well and can't afford it all.

Hi everyone and belated Christmas. Sorry for dipping in and out, just came back from in laws and am now stuck in the house with DDs until January. Just catching up on the thread(s). Great bag QueenC, love the colour.

Talking about jeans, I'm still stuck on the skinny phase, I'm very short so am reluctant to try on flares. Although I've also gone off the really thin kind of skinny jeans. (J Brand I'm looking at you!)

Have bought 2 pairs from the US as I need to size down after doing 5:2 for a year.

Home again! Soo happy to be back.

We had a lovely time with DP's and and DPIL's but I had a sore throat and a cold for most of the time so I can't wait to have a proper sleep in my own bed.

shop I have been meaning to send you my sample of that TF perfume so you can try it on for a few days before investing in a bottle.

It's not full anymore as I spilled quite a bit and I do love it but it's quite similar to another TF I own so I decided to finish that one first.

I will send it asap but do you know if you can send perfume samples in the post?

Linus really?? Could you? Would happily pay postage. It is such an investment. I went a little of piste and got this Acqua di parma set today. Smells gorgeous. I also bought yet another bobble hat (in grey) and some Lancôme mascara. (reduced gift box)

shop I got a small which I immediately regretted because I had to have it taken in! Should have got XS which is my size in HL. I would say sizing is a bit more generous than the red one.

Am wearing my new shoes with my onesie for 'games night' with DH (we crack open a bottle of champs, get pissed and argue over a board game - annual tradition)
