Xmas Grin at dry's DMIL. Did you see the article in the Radio Times about Jack Whitehall wearing a suit and standing for the whole of the Queen's speech to tease his Dad?

I am rather squiffy. Have completed the Lego friends set and now onto the classic box. So far have built a house and a Jeep under instructions from DD. Am quite enjoying myself. Dinner smells v good.

Just had a Baileys.....wish I hadn't Xmas Confused

Stokey · 26/12/2015 08:17

Love the evening drinking posts! Hope you all had lovely days. DH & I both have filthy colds so only managed a bottle of red between us and a glass of fizz each - we couldn't even finish the bottle - poor show. Hope to recover in time for NYE.

I got some lovely pressies - the red Zatchels bag as instructed, Bill Skinner necklace and some LKB shoes. I'm not sure about the shoes - DH went off piste. They're pretty but I hardly ever wear heels these days as I normally take the tube and can't be bothered with the faff of carrying extra shoes.

Anyone started sales shopping? There's an AS dress I saw before Christmas & was waiting for an extra reduction. It's come now but they only have size 2 or 4 left, bah.

Drywhitethanks · 26/12/2015 09:02

Why would you want to buy dirty trainers? Xmas Confused.....guess it's a trend, like ripped jeans, not for matchy me. Xmas Smile

Today I'm binning two fav items because they've died. Nothing expensicpve, but fantastic basics I've worn to death and had on my chair for weeks because I just couldn't bring myself to part with them. Is it just me.....or do you get attached to certain clothes?

Longislandicetee · 26/12/2015 10:31

Morning! Hope you all had great day!Smile loved the evening posts. Mine was absolutely fantastic. First time in a long time all of my immediate family have spent Christmas Day together in a long time. 15 of us for lunch/dinner and then 6 some of my cousins came round for dessert and games. Finally got to bed at 2am! We had about 300 presents under the tree and it took us about 2 hours to get through them all. We do stockings in the morning and then don't do main present opening until about 5pm. All the kids are very patient!Grin Doing it all again at the pils today!

AmberNectarine · 26/12/2015 11:09

We had a lovely Xmas too. I asked little DD to get me a drink this morning at 9am and she said 'do you want wine?' Maybe time to slow down!

shopafrolic · 26/12/2015 19:29

Nice shoes Dry. Did you get them in red?

shopafrolic · 26/12/2015 19:31

I didn't get the Tom Ford perfume I wanted - it is £££. But I do have some cash and am wondering whether to just treat myself as there is nothing I really need. And I know I'd love it. wwyd?

QueenC · 26/12/2015 19:57

Went ice skating today but it was like a huge puddle as its so warm. I found it really hard to skate.
amber have you done your usual Boxing Day shopping trip?
shop tricky one. I'm not a perfume lover really so would find it hard to pay that much for some. But if you're going to wear it everyday then it makes sense. If it's something you'd only wear for going out then I wouldnt.

QueenC · 26/12/2015 19:59

Drywhitethanks · 26/12/2015 21:04
