Glad you are starting to feel better Blair and I hope you feel better soon one. I like the idea of a cheeseboard for Christmas Eve. We usually have fish (sea bass tonight) in an attempt to eat 'lightly' before the onslaught tomorrow. I like the idea of salmon en croute too dry.
Hope you get a good rest Blingy.
Watching Love Actually on Christmas Eve has become a family tradition. It is cheesy but enjoyable. I think I love that we all watch it together more than the actual film.
Our present opening routine has evolved over the years, and is more in line with dh's family's then the mad scramble, everyone piling in at once that was mine. Now that the DC are older, we don't open anything until after church. Then the DC open their stockings (not too grown up for that!). Then presents are opened one at a time, admired, exclaimed over etc. It can go on for ever, and several top-ups of Buck's Fizz are needed!
Dry your weekend looked lovely. We were there a few weeks ago as DS is working nearby at the moment. DD made gluwein this afternoon which was a lovely reminder.
This is our first Christmas in this house and it has been a lot of fun establishing new traditions. Our wardrobes are now in so I have been busy organising them! I hope you are enjoying your kitchen shop.
Hope you all and your dfamilies have a lovely Christmas, everyone. I look forward to hearing all about the presents.
