I'm on my way - after stopping off for an impromptu shopping trip in Southampton with friends who made a last-minute decision to join me on an early train - and then convinced me to get off said train in Southampton. We had a larf and bought some stuff. Have now got back on the train. I am feeling the need for some chocolate.

Come come come MI. You won't regret it. I'm shattered too, but a few glasses of fizz will see us right.

I am between shows. Both the DC doing both the Matinee and evening performance. Enjoyed working during the former even if I do struggle to scribble my notes in the dark. Somehow a bit of work is helping me with the sad moments the creep up,on me unexpectedly.
And I know I'm getting boring but I am so proud of the DC, especially DS and the band, and our lovely theatre. PLEASE, PLEASE COME AND SEE OUR SHOW, Crepeys? Xxx

We got back from deepest Derbyshire today - Chatsworth was lovely.

Lordy what's going on in England - everybody is ill. Even DD1 who is never ill has been given bedrest by the doc - she has tonsillitis.

Mrs S - I am impressed as I have some of idea of how much Prosecco was imbibed along with the cheese and pineapple on sticks! I feel just a tad fragile. Dh is teasing me for hiccuping most of the way home...

I'm gradually opening my gifts, and finding myself with currently no fewer than FIVE (five, v) new and equally lovely necklaces. Swapping any for something else would cause offence, so I'm going to be rotating them daily.
