Ah. Different sort of "oscopy" entirely. Blush

Auriga · 26/11/2015 18:33

Happy birthday, Herbs Thanks
And good luck in your interview, Crem Thanks
And welcome back, Rose Thanks

Blackduck · 26/11/2015 18:35

Cremo good luck.

Happy Birthday Herbs

Wow WAF - good stuff Grin

Auriga · 26/11/2015 18:51

Yes, WAF, yay. Sorry, brian is still off sick. Can't handle more than three bits of information.

CointreauVersial · 26/11/2015 22:48

Brian off sick, or brain? Wink

Auriga, I thought of you and your kitchen shenanigans yesterday....I put some butter in a pan to melt, then just wandered off. I was happily folding laundry when the smoke alarm started shrieking - the whole kitchen was full of burning butter smoke. And I have no lingering viruses to blame.

hattymattie · 27/11/2015 06:24

Good luck Crem xxx

Blackduck · 27/11/2015 06:33

Herbs have a wonderful party and sorry not to be there.
Cremo good luck.

I will update maybe at the weekend - things are not good here with DMum and work.

bigTillyMint · 27/11/2015 06:53

Oh BD, sending big hugs xxx

Auriga and CV, your forgetful kitchen stories are cheering me up - I am feeling like I'm 101 because my brain isn't working as quickly as it used to and praying that I left my phone at work yesterday.

Cremo · 27/11/2015 07:00

BD I was thinking about you yesterday. Take care lovely. ThanksChocolate

Thanks everyone. Trying not to shake.Hmm

Cremo, I am still crossing everything for you!

magimedi · 27/11/2015 09:19

Good Luck Crem.

Good news WAF

I poured myself a glass of olive oil instead of wine while cooking the other night - luckily I realised before I took a swig sip.

I remember seeing Steve Miller Band at The Rainbow, Finsbury Park, many, many years ago.

Fingers crossed to WAF and Cremo! Onwards and upwards, crepeys!

I had the most DREADFUL night's sleep last night, with hot sweats seemingly every 30 minutes. No doubt not helped by lots of wine and a late night Thai takeaway! Tried to have a kip just now, but failed. But shall press (wo)manfully on to this evening!

Yes - lovely friends will be there tonight, and I shall introduce you.

Still awaiting a number of vital deliveries, including quoits, inflatable seagulls and a captain's hat.

motherinferior · 27/11/2015 10:44

I am not very well. I have done something new and unforgiveable at work (forwarded an email with stuff I shouldn't have) am covered in shame and have gone back to bed after a sleepless night. Please don't ask me for details. I am not in a good way.

addle · 27/11/2015 10:46

Happy birthday fr yesterday Herbs from deepest Wales. Wish I was celebrating with you tonight. Have wonderful time, I look forward to pics. X

wordassociationfootball · 27/11/2015 11:46

So sorry MI.

My L6 was booze, boys, bunking, Bauhaus, Buzzcocks and bongs.

V sorry about crap sleep Herbs.

Rudy I love the sound of your L6 self. Very vividly captured.

BeachysFlipFlops · 27/11/2015 12:10

Oh MI, if it was an accident, it should always be forgivable. We have to self-report things like that at work for compliance reasons and although I understand you don't want to share (in order not to compound the issue), can you self report, do hands up, mea culpa and try to rectify the mistake?

It's such a gut wrenching moment when the wrong thing goes to the wrong place.....

Collymollypuff · 27/11/2015 12:13

I'm afraid I'm with Auriga and others in the sick bay. The last couple of days have been a round of doctor's appointments and doctor telecons, with various investigations, some of which have happily come back as normal. But I'm soooooooooo sorry, Herbs, I don't think I can stagger to your party. Sad Sad Sad If anyone wants to borrow my wonderful costume acquired off ebay, do let me know. Although I will be mostly in bed with Radio 4, I'm afraid, rather than on the computer.

MI, DON'T WORRY. It's not as bad as you think, and time will wash it under the bridge of forgetting. Yay for WAF - that sounds fab. And belated Happy Birthday, Herbs, hope you have a great time tonight!

And Crem, well done on getting that interview! Fingers crossed for you as well as for WAF's children's book series. {Sorry if I've missed others out - reading rather inattentively here.}

MM ShockGrin

Go Rudy! Brrrr!

Oh dear MI. Can you do what Beachy suggested?

Molly, that's a shame. And after all the effort of sourcing the outfit.

Roll on 3pm!

Lalsy · 27/11/2015 13:26

Molly and Auriga, look after yourselves - and what bad luck about tonight Molly.

Crem, crossing everything for interview. And WAF, for the agent.

MI, chin up my love. Those things are especially hard as a freelance I think - every organisation has a slightly different comms tone and etiquette I have found. I accidentally put my email foot in it yesterday (just by answering a factual question!).

Have a brilliant time tonight party-goers.

herbaceous · 27/11/2015 13:28

Lordy be MI. I seem to remember you did something similar-isn a while back, took the nettle by the horns, grasped the bull, and owned up and all was well.

What you need is a nice distracting party. No-one else is allowed to drop out - we're 10 down already!

motherinferior · 27/11/2015 15:07

I'll try but really am wiped after sleepless night.
