Evening All. Rose, I bought this sparkly number on a whim at the weekend - it's MUCH nicer than it looks on the dreadful website and quite a bargain (but not so good perhaps if you're after another 'hello Rabbi' moment' Grin.

Herbs, hope you're having a lie down to recover from such industriousness...

Are you still there Chilly and Laska?

Lalsy · 12/10/2015 20:43

Those are both gorgeous.

MrsSchadenfreude · 12/10/2015 21:06

Yes to the last two dresses, no to the chiffon tent.

I have stinking cold which came on suddenly this afternoon and will be going to bed shortly.

motherinferior · 12/10/2015 21:43

Yep to both those frocks. Much more Hello Rabbi.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 12/10/2015 21:46

Mi, I think mine is a bit prim modest for Rabbi shocking purposes..

bigTillyMint · 12/10/2015 22:02

Grin at Rabbi shocking dresses!

MrsS, I think DD has your cold and my cough. She said she thought she was going to lose control of her bladder (but not in those words) when she was coughing at school today. First sick day off tomorrow, though she is worried about missing lessons.

MrsSchadenfreude · 12/10/2015 23:46

It depends whether you have a rabbi who is easily shocked. Grin

hattymattie · 13/10/2015 05:49

Ooh - got these ones - for me the John Lewia dress definitely.

Rosebag · 13/10/2015 08:33

No rabbis involved hopefully.Grin That's a fab dress GGG I love it but I don't do well with high neck lines. I have ordered the French Connection on on click and collect with john Lewis. On your heads be it. Grin

On my way to that development group working party that work through lunch and don't eat. I have Alpen Bars hidden about my person and will suck upon the sugar sachets that come with the coffee.

Waves to stropps and hopes she ok.

Welcome back magi from grandchild cuddling loveliness. Also welcome back to Nu

MrsSchadenfreude · 13/10/2015 09:09

I have absolutely hideous cold and feel terrible. Am going to crawl into the office for a bit, and come home this afternoon if I feel no better.

motherinferior · 13/10/2015 09:28

GO HOME NOW!

BeachysFlipFlops · 13/10/2015 10:49

I'm doing the same, Mrs S. I have a window of escape at 3pm!

Plus the whole office has it, so we are all just snivelling at each other.

Cremo · 13/10/2015 11:17

After a night with Brian, I now definitely have a cold that has come at me sideways and given me 1(one, I) painful ear , 2( two ii) painful tonsils and a weepy eye. Feel like I could sleep for a month and am struggling to keep eyes open.

Am suppose to be getting flu jab today but have postponed

Rose -dress 1 , do not hide your light under a bushel
Dress 2 , absolutely gorgeous and I like the diagonal bit that gives the whole look a bit of dynamic
GGG- excellent, flattering and useful dress. Might go and look at that one myself.

Mrs S , I'm frightened of Sister, so you'd better go home before she gets arsey.Sad

Cremo · 13/10/2015 11:19

Ps , my Rabbi is more likely to sport that dress Rose, given she's a babe herself.

NUFC69 · 13/10/2015 11:41

I didn't realise that bugs and germs can go through the Internet (steps away from the I pad). You must all be fed up with me wishing you better. I think we need a "get better " emoticon.

Disastrous morning: DH cut himself whilst shaving (tiniest nick) and I have had to take him to A&E as it won't stop bleeding (as advised by 111). It's the morning we take DGS1 to school and have his sister for the day: blood being dripped everywhere. Four hours after the cut DH is still bleeding and they are trying various treatments according to last text.

Ah, telephone call - he's fixed. They put silver nitrate on it and it's stopped. Phew!

Rosebag · 13/10/2015 12:13

We are having a short break. I am somewhat pleased that I was the only person who could get Skype to work for the absent members. That is having spent the early morning yelling at DS to fgs help me make sure I'm set up for it do I don't make an arse of myself. In the event everyone else was fumbling... He he
MrsS beachy and cremo.. You need Sister xx

magimedi · 13/10/2015 13:04

Am also joining the sickies as have a cold - it's been brewing for about 5 days, one of those ones when you can't decide if it's going to come to anything or not. Don't feel too bad, more miserable than ill.

NUF - is your DH on asprin? Mine is & bleeds like a pig after any cut, however small.

CointreauVersial · 13/10/2015 13:15

My cold is not going quietly - I feel like my head has been submerged in a barrel of treacle. My desk bin is slowly filling up with green tissues (eurgh!).

At least I don't feel too rough, which is lucky, as the hamster wheel in the office is revolving ever faster. BIG submission due this Friday at 2pm, after which I can relax will have to pick up all the other stuff that's been left by the wayside recently.

NUFC69 · 13/10/2015 13:22

MM, he's on something after the stent was fitted in May, but not aspirin. He has to contact the Freeman Hospital (heart centre) to tell them what happened.

Sorry to hear you're not well either. I just feel exhausted - silly really.

Auriga · 13/10/2015 13:40

Crem, MrsS, Beachy, Magi, CV, hope you're all going to be safely tucked up with soothing drinks Brew Brew Brew by the time Sister does her afternoon round. At the rate you're all going down, she'll barely have time to starch her frills Shock.

Collymollypuff · 13/10/2015 13:59

That's what we have our boys for, Rose. Grin And indeed our girls - dd is quite as able to help on the computer front and can help much more on some computery jiggery pokery.

bigTillyMint · 13/10/2015 14:41

Envy neither of mine have a clue about computers - everyone turns to me in our house and I know next to nothingGrin

motherinferior · 13/10/2015 14:48

I appear not to have a cold Shock.

herbaceous · 13/10/2015 15:10

My cold has gone! Other than copious amounts of nose produce. I thought I had a fatal internal haemorrhage yesterday when my wee went red, until I remembered the beetroot I'd eaten for dinner.

Good thing: had chat at local sixth form collage about doing in class English support for their art classes, paid, and will be starting once they've sorted my DRB.

Bad thing: we have no broadband, so can't access online DRB stuff, research for my interview or fanny about in mumsnet. It also means tedious and embolism-inducing calls to BT.

bigTillyMint · 13/10/2015 15:42

Oh Herbs, that's fab re your job - hope it's a college rather than a collage thoughGrin
