Its that time of year again when our thoughts turn to winter woollies, Christmas jumpers and party dresses. Come and join our musings and purchasing, high end and high street, we love them all.

Just got such a funny text from Lib checking whether dh is at Twickenham again. Apparently there is a bloke near her who is complaining about his wife constantly losing bling. Dh is at home suffering from the mother of all hangovers no sympathy but good to know I have a kindred spirit (the wife!!) out there!!

Lovely afternoon. DH Has headed off shooting so DS and I headed to friends (who are kind of like my 2nd parents) and had lunch, baked gingerbread men and played games. Nice way to spend the afternoon. I am now I front of the TV - absolutely shattered, wine in hand.

blingy I couldn't resist the text. I figured it probably wasn't your DH but was just hilarious hearing this guy go on about how his wife keeps losing jewellery! He even said to his mate 'and she has 3 jewellery boxes, and I bought them too'!!! I was in stitches! Great evening. Better than yesterday in a way as we didn't care who won so could just enjoy the rugby and eavesdrop on other people's conversations

I came on here to say the same - Claudia looked fab tonight and love the lace blouse.

Herecomesthesun - the heels are pretty comfy - I danced for hours last night and feet were fine. They are a tad fiddly to do up but its worth it!

I googled party jeans (as the thought also crossed my mind)and this is what appeared. Now, who amongst us would wear them? def not me or Dry at a guess!

Lib I thought today's match was great only caught second half though. Dh is at next weeks final. I suspect today's hangover will still be very fresh in his memory. He still looks awful. Today must have been cold! Yesterday was okay, only got colder late at night (we got home at midnight!). I was so chuffed I managed to put together an outfit that was both warm and quite nice.

With dh out of action I have had to entertain the dcs alone. We started decorating the house for Halloween. They were so over excited I realised within 5 minutes that it was a huuuge mistake!!

Oh dear Blingy hope dh's hangover has cleared by tomorrow.

Can't remember who linked the Whistles boots earlier but I really like them. I saw someone wearing a very similar pair (but with laces) last night with opaques and a very floaty dress and looked great.
