Its that time of year again when our thoughts turn to winter woollies, Christmas jumpers and party dresses. Come and join our musings and purchasing, high end and high street, we love them all.

Well I have a DH but I still would.

He really reminds me of some boys from my youth.

I think I've always went out or liked men who were serious , , but I was never attracted to the sweet ones, one guy back in my uni days, really tried his luck with me, he was very good looking,very sweet and talkative and really funny,,but I don't know, felt nothing,felt terrible as I really tried to like him but I couldn't, I really wanted to remain friends with him but he wanted something else,

Well that escalated quickly , we went from discussing Dior to talking about men from our past!! How did that even happen!

Lol, and haven't even drunk anything!

I was always very picky, my list of requirements for a boyfriend always made my friends laugh.

Funnily enough I never had that many boyfriends

DH was the first boyfriend I ever introduced to my parents and that was in my late twenties!

Last day at work before a week of with the DC for half term. Not going away for this break, just a couple of day trips and chilling which is much needed, am frazzled!
Anyone off anywhere hot and exotic??

Not me, my parents are here from Aus and will be doing stuff with the DC. Prague next week then a break the week after.

I'm somewhere that's definitely neither hot or exotic!

Just ordered some black boots, will link later. I have in my head that they will go with black trousers for work although I'm not sure. Hoping that they may look ok with dresses too but ive never had much luck with that look.

Sounds good Marsha, that's the thing I struggle with, all my leave is used in school holidays so I never get any time off on my own or with DH without the DC but I feel bad if I put them in a holiday club just so I can do that, maybe I need to do it occasionally.

Not hot & exotic but we're off to Gloucestershire tonight, renting a place with 3 other couples for the weekend, the men were DH's uni friends.

It should be fun, there's a shared pool and it's very flat so good for cycling. Fashion will be jeans, jumpers and trainers.

Ootd is Topshop denim button down pinafore, Breton, ribbed tights, Stans & Jaeger cardie.

Hi all, have just spent a happy half hour catching up on links and purchases - far too many great items to comment on each except loved the &os blue pointy loafers, the twist and tango black dress and the Erdem fringed jacket.

I have absolutely no fashion news whatsoever - life is busy and a bit stressy atm so not feeling the shopping love at all.

On the plus side, I am digging out all sorts from the depths of my wardrobe that I had forgotten about so ootd today is a very old precis petite black knee length dress, opaques, bright pink cropped cardigan and knee length boots. Will wear tartan scarf and cropped black leather jacket when I go out in a while.

Soo jealous of your new kitchen shop! I have been pinning ideas for my dream kitchen but that won't happen any time soon.

Went shopping with DS but only tried on one pair of trainers, the Nike Theas which were nice but not Wow. They didn't have the Roshes but I will look out for them.

No sign of Ash Virgins, do they still get sold?

I also saw some lovely Saint Laurent trainers (white with black stars) but I didn't even try them on as probably ££££.

I did buy a new Diptyque candle. It's a bit too early for Pomander (too Christmassy) so I bought Oranger which is similar but less spicy.

Burning it now....mmmm.

Shop we have just finished major works on our house including a new kitchen so don't envy you but it is worth it in the end.
My sparkly shoes have been dispatched, hope they don't disappoint!

I am working half term week but tbh I am looking forward to it! As it's half term loads of people are off so I have no meetings and can catch up on stuff properly.

I've got Elle and red to get me through the tedium of being at in laws so will report back with anything interesting.

I'm still on my phone so can't link boots yet but they're ash hurrican. Similar to jalouse but lower heel. I don't think I need a lot for work as I have blouses and trousers that will work but it's just the depth of winter as I don't want to be wearing pop socks with shoes every day so need boots. The boots I already have are too high to wear on a daily basis.
