thank you, although I have interesting bb cream samples with my first order of mizon snail face wash - how fab is that. I don't think my skin has ever felt softer!!!!! my cheap snail cream.lovely - so soft. I'm hoping that the spot I am currently incubating is hormonal and not due to the cream.

I do however have glowing greasy parts of my face - right next to the base of my nose. Other T zone areas are fine.....

Am awaiting my innisfree mineral powder as I hope that will aid the condition.

AngelaRipp0n · 03/09/2015 23:30

Derek I have some samples of Missha bb cream no 21 if you send me a PM I can post you one to try.

lucysmam · 04/09/2015 10:40

derek, I think I might have a couple of Missha samples too -I'm out at the mo but will have a look when we get in Smile

brittanyfairies · 04/09/2015 10:50

Found you again - I placed an order on 22nd August for loads of things, one I paid extra for fast delivery (but I can't remember which one) but nothing has arrived yet - I practically pounce on the postman every morning, this morning he didn't have anything for me just drove by with a wave. I want all my new goodies to try out.

RenardeRenarde · 04/09/2015 18:15

Hello, hope you don't mind me gate crashing but I've been reading the thread from the start and thought I should finally join in :)

I've fallen down the rabbit hole somewhat and just ordered a huge haul from Jolse - feeling a bit guilty about it actually cause I'm usually quite a minimalist!

I've ordered:
Tony moly premium goat milk cream
Cosrx honey sleeping mask
Mizon seaweed jelly scrub
Banila co Miss flower mr honey essence oil
Goodal waterest first essence
Benton snail bee essence
Cosrx blackhead power
Holika holika Aqua petit jelly bb
Missha dolly lash mascara

I also bought the sum37 rose stick cleanser and a hada labo lotion and mist.... No more hauls for me!

In expecting at least a few of them to be fails, splashed out on an iope cushion plus refil in #21 and it's no good to me at all :(

RenardeRenarde · 04/09/2015 18:17

Bloody hell forgot I've also ordered the pink missha sunscreen and have a missha cushion in #21 too sigh

lucysmam · 04/09/2015 18:53

Hello Renarde Smile

I'd be interested in your thoughts about the COSRX honey sleeping pack - I keep looking Grin

derek, I'm just about to rummage in my samples box now, will pm you if I have any missha ones you might find useful.

FrustratedFrugal · 04/09/2015 19:21

Welcome Renarde! That is quite a haul!!! Hope you'll like them!

I've switched back to mineral makeup to give my skin a break. Priming with Missha FTE. Trying to remember to stick to my routine.

I've just gone back to work. I work in a school with quite a high proportion of Hong Kong Chinese. One of them has a shoes box packed full of what looks like sheets and masks. I really want to ask her what she's got. But I'm going look really weird aren't I?

AngelaRipp0n · 04/09/2015 22:37

Renarde welcome, you've got well and truly hooked. I love your haul and am not in the least jealous, go slowly though and introduce each thing one by one.

I've ordered a super large Banila clean it zero and gave my dd's a sample each and a lesson on double cleansing. I've told them I'm not buying make up wipes any longer and that we can all share the Banila when it comes. Dd1 has been forced to admit that I might be on to something after I told her how to get rid of her sF's and it worked. I'm hoping they'll thank me when they're my age.

brittanyfairies · 05/09/2015 11:08

Well some of my haul arrived today from Jolse - I just paid for normal shipping on this one and it's the first to arrive. I paid extra for rapid delivery to F2plus1 because I needed my moisturiser, it still hasn't arrived. I think someone had problems with them on an earlier thread didn't they.

Anyhow, tres excited here, - got my Benton BHA Skin toner, my C20 serum and my white wine sleeping mask - I almost want to go to bed now just so I can try them out. I feel I should finish off my current toner as there's probably only a week's worth of stuff in there, but I want to try the new stuff!

Got a load of samples though they are Luke charcoal nose cleaning strips. Lioele Fresh sun screen SPF 45, Tony Moly My Sunny sunscreen SPF50, Tony Moly Goat Milk Premium Cream and Aqua Whitening cream - not sure where these two would fit in my routine, Tony Moly Panda's Dream White magic cream, Tony Moly Tomatox massage pack - which I've tried before and like, Fresh cherry tint from Etude House - which I presume is for my lips and some Jolse blotting paper.

I get more excited about the samples than the products sometimes.

Still waiting for my Missha Super Aqua Deep moisturising cream and my 4D mascara.

Has anyone tried the Mizon AHA peeling 8% serum - I read good things about this on a forum today so I thought I might treat myself at the end of the month on pay day (end of the month it's only the 5th now and I'm already planning my spending).

lucysmam · 05/09/2015 11:42

I've read lots of good things about the Mizon 8% serum but not tried it - it was hard to get hold of for a while though & I think has been re-formulated so the current reviews may be a bit outdated now with their info.

The creams would be a last step before an occlusive/sleeping mask I think.

I have two cc's that have come to a head Sad. I'm doing my very very best not to fiddle/pick but it's not easy when one is sat right on the bridge of my bloomin' nose.

I'm looking to try something else in place of the snail gel when I make my next order & have a shortlist - if any of you use them & could comment that'd be fab Smile

Ok...the list

  • Innisfree green tea balancing cream
  • Mizon ultra suboon cream
  • Skin Ceramic Yogurt donkey milk (may buy this anyway just out of interest - need to check ingredients first & run through COSDNA)
  • Goodal superseed balancing emulsion
  • SNP bird's nest cream (this is also a possible just because I'm curious)

Also tempted by the SNP eye patches and Secret Key ones.

& looking for a daytime eye cream with SPF if any of you have any recommendations for one of those Smile

muddlingalongquitenicely · 05/09/2015 14:32

I need to step away from the Jolse website!! Too many things i want to try.
Will wait for my TK order and stuff from DH though i wish i was out with him he isnt enjoying it as much as last time and its his birthday tomorrow Sad

lucysmam · 05/09/2015 20:36

Oh no! My best bargaining with dd2 tool is empty Shock! I need a pale blue ish hand cream to refill the castle handcream with. She has taken a liking to an older tube that is bright green for the moment but is not impressed at the lack of cream in the house.

lucysmam · 05/09/2015 20:38

Aw muddling, I just clicked 'add post' on the front page without reading any updates.

Would he enjoy an 'un-birthday' like in Winnie the Pooh? Something to look forward to with you and any dc's when he gets home?

RenardeRenarde · 06/09/2015 00:14

Oh muddling your post made me feel rather sad :( I hope your hubby perks up about his trip - I love the idea of an unbirthday celebration for when he's home :)

I'm patch testing the honey sleeping mask tonight so shall give an update when I've tried it properly.

I wore the holika Aqua petit jelly today, it's lovely, very very light and natural looking, not sure about wear time/durability yet as didn't do much today. I also tried the missha sun milk, so weightless! Would definitely recommend that one.

Forgot to add earlier that I got a free gift of the innisfree Apple juicy cleansing oil - my skin is seriously fussy with cleansers so I won't be risking it, if anyone fancies trying it just let me know :)

mowglik · 06/09/2015 09:32

hi all not been on for a while, just got back from hols where i was using lots of samples and been missing my usual routine..am doing the SF grits method as we speak to give my skin a fresh start!

renarde i love cleansing oils so would love to give this one a try if you are offering!

In other news I received my shark sauce yesterday and looking forward to trying that out. Anyone else sign up for it? Not exactly sure where to place this step though its a kind of watery serum

lucysmam · 06/09/2015 09:49

I can't find the skin ceramic donkey milk on ebay to see how much it is Sad.

I'm waiting on some spends to pay for shark sauce mowglik. Would it go with the serums step? First after actives maybe if it's watery? How much did it cost after postage was added? (Lots of q's there, sorry Blush )

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 06/09/2015 10:08

One thing I'm worried about with some of the ab stuff is how ethical some of the ingredients are-just seen there is shark sauce-made from real sharks? Obviously Tony moly don't use real pandas. Grin
Since coming back from hol I have seriously fallen off the wagon and need to get back into a regime. < administers kick up arse>
Has anyone tried the two layer lipsticks that are quite cheap on eBay? The darker section goes on the inner part of your lips.

lucysmam · 06/09/2015 10:29

They sound fun for a play with, any chance of a link OhWhat? not that I need more make-up

RenardeRenarde · 06/09/2015 11:45

Sure mowglik PM me with where to send it and it's yours :)

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 06/09/2015 11:53

My iPad hates links, but screen shot Lucy.

AngelaRipp0n · 06/09/2015 12:01

Ooh Mowglik I'm very interested in hearing how you get on with the shark sauce, there was a new sign up sheet yesterday but by the time I'm remembered all slots had gone. I think there are people on the Fab group discussing where it fits in their routines.

mowglik · 06/09/2015 16:23

Thanks renarde will pm you!

lucysmam the shark sauce cost $26 inc postage and it will last a long time as I'm only using 2/3 drops morning and evening.

It's like slightly viscous water so I use it after hada labo lotion and before other serums. Will update on my experience with this, it's been pleasant to use so far with no discernible scent and my skin was looking fresh this morning but will see how it fares long term.

ohwhatthefuckery it doesn't contain any animal ingredients and but there are a lot of AB products that are a bit suspect in that regard :/

lucysmam · 06/09/2015 17:02

Thanks for the screenshot Ohwhat, I will add it to my list of randomness to try later on.

Funny you should mention animal testing, this has been posted on reddit today from COSRX re. Snail testing.

Afaik, stuff has to be animal tested to be sold in China though - wonder how they get around that one Confused
