Love the links especially the leather leggings and the Reiss dress.

You're now all influencing me Shock to think about a/w now! Hmm

I really need new black long boots. Also still thinking about the hooded Burberry trench that I liked last year.

MarshaBrady · 17/08/2015 21:33

I'm pinning A/W stuff, it's making me want to do a big shop. Gorgeous stuff out there.

AmberNectarine · 17/08/2015 21:36

I tried on loads of Burberry trenches today and what I have realised is that they do nothing for me. Also they come up big and only the 0s really fitted.

Karbea · 17/08/2015 21:37

Find me a nice cardi then, I can't find a nice one :(

libertychick · 17/08/2015 21:38

Oh I like the pineapples and the Marni jumper!

BrandyAlexander · 17/08/2015 21:40

Really Amber? Hmm sounds like I might be disappointed as we are of similar stature ignoring that you're 3 inches taller than me ahem.

MarshaBrady · 17/08/2015 21:48

Karbea oversized or fitted?

Marant oversized

Karbea · 17/08/2015 21:57

I'm only 5ft so I think that would look like I stole my DHs. Plus it needs to be an Autumn colour.

Drywhiteplease · 17/08/2015 22:00

Yes Blair The Sky Garden, perhaps for pre dinner drinks? Or food too?

QueenCardigan · 17/08/2015 22:55

Wow, loads of chat and links to catch up on....
Great trainers shop, great buys amber can't remember who else linked stuff!

My a/w wish list is grey blouse (been on my list for ages but never yet found ), a navy going out top ( bored of the one I have), coloured gloves, grey ankle boots to wear with rolled up jeans.

AmberNectarine · 17/08/2015 23:00

I've been to the sky garden for cocktails. Very nice and the view is fantastic at night. Can't comment on the food as I haven't eaten there yet.

23jumpstreet · 17/08/2015 23:04

Ya deffo feeling the a/w atuff right now tbh

NotdeadyetBOING · 18/08/2015 07:07

My word this thread moves fast. Loved lots of the links. Some gorgeous Rag & Bone jumper and Amber's Reiss dress especially.

My challenge to you all is gym stuff. Lovely (but not costing arm and a leg from Net-a-porter) gym/dance wear. I really hate all the v. patterned lycra that is everywhere these days; think it makes everyone look a good 2 sizes larger than they are and is hideous anyway. Also stuff to go to and from gym that doesn't make me look like I'm about to mug people.

QueenCardigan · 18/08/2015 07:51

Morning.
bernice I forgot to mention your bag last night. It's a gorgeous bag but I personally wouldn't use orange or khaki but then I'm not a huge fan of either colour so that may be clouding my judgement. It looks a fairly greyish khaki so will probably be a good neutral.
notdead I get my stuff from our local running shop which tends to stock good basics rather than on trend stuff.

libertychick · 18/08/2015 08:08

Karbea I think Boden for cardis for you as they are nice and fitted or Brora if you want to spend a bit more.

notdead I bought these jersey trousers last week. They are lovely, very flattering, hold shape well and perfect IMO for to and from the gym or yoga class as well as lounging around. H&M has some good plain gym gear.

Amber that Wolford tube looks interesting! Is it flattering? By which I mean could someone me about 4 sizes bigger than you get away with it??

NotdeadyetBOING · 18/08/2015 08:40

I think Boden cardigans are fab. I have 4 of the cropped cotton/stretch ones. V. flattering as long as you have decent waist/flattish tum. Wash well and all that practical stuff too.

Liberty thanks for the trouser link. Might be good. Will check out H&M too.

shopafrolic · 18/08/2015 09:04

Morning all Amber your purchases make me think I need to revisit Bicester at some point - I haven't been for about 3 years.
Can't help on cardigan questions or sportswear Grin
Loving all your Pins Marsha

AmberNectarine · 18/08/2015 09:27

lib yes, I think it would work on anyone. I think they have some nice autumn colours on the website as well. It's good because you can adjust it to your ideal skirt length.

notdead I have tried so much gym stuff and what I've found is that I only really get on with Sweaty betty and Nike. Both not the cheapest but they last and last.

NotdeadyetBOING · 18/08/2015 09:40

I have loads of Sweaty Betty. I suppose was just wondering if I was missing a trick anywhere.

Drywhiteplease · 18/08/2015 09:58

Notdead love gym kit that makes you look like you're "going to mug someone" Grin .... I'm most definitely NOT a hoodie woman. I'll second Nike bottoms ans SB for tops. feeling guilty ith about total lack of exercise on holiday, but hey ho

Bernice I'm late, but I love the Orange bag. I love bags with pockets storage/system freak and have never heard of that brand before.

23jump hello. Go on, what do you fancy for A/W?

So, today I'm sporting a very red nose and sunburnt legs, up to short length, that look a bit like very unsexy red stockings.......nice!Hmm......tried to seduce DH with my sexy hot legs last night to no avail Grin

Day out with ILs ....think alcohol may be needed by lunch time Smile

Happy Birthday Blair Cake Wine. Are you off out tonight?

Great haul yesterday Amber. Admire your stamina over the weekend! Love the pineapple necklace Shop linked for you too.

Ouch Dry, sunburn is not good. Enjoy your day which will definitely be improved with wine. Tbf, wine makes everything better!

Notdead, Karbea has pinned lots of workout clothes if you need inspiration.

Hi and welcome to 23jumpstreet. Looking forward to your lovely links.

Who was after cardigans? I am a fan of the Boden cropped cardi too - good fit and wash well. Always god value if you can get a discount code.

Am starting to think about my winter wish list. So far:
Blue Loafers (to replace knackered pair)
Flatforms - love these but they may be too chunky for me
flares jeans - if I can find some in petite
grey round neck jumper for the Clare Underwood look
Knee length boots

safetyzone · 18/08/2015 10:38

Can I join you all? Been lurking on and off but decides to take the plunge...

I'm turning 40 this week Shock and need to buckle up on the style front.

On my wishlist now:

  • Slip on trainers - have eyes on these Would have liked Vans but can't find anything that's leather and in a colour I like! Want something beigy.
  • Black/beige court stilettos - to be honest I don't know if I need any, I don't really wear heels at work these days and have been lacking in social life for the last few years to justify.

Notdead - have you checked Stella by Adidas? I used to buy lots from them.

safetyzone · 18/08/2015 10:39

Also to add, can you let me know how to find your Pinterest board? Just got into it recently!

GeorginaWorsley · 18/08/2015 12:18

notdead
