Evening all. So in love with that bag! Kids are staying over at their cousins' tonight so we went to see Trainwreck (v funny, basically how I was until I met DH) and then for dinner. I wore a black Helmut Lang dress, Pistols and new burgundy biker.

Looks like it's going to be hot today but the mornings are quite chilly.

OOTD (but will probably have to change by the afternoon) is white MiH shirt, black Etro trousers and ancient black Alaïa ballerina flats.

I just fancied a change from my usual skinnies and tee uniform.

Raining all day here. Had fun yesterday, so indulgent. Today it's a museum with the DC and dsis.

I need good shoes for the rain, none of them work really. Which shoes do you wear when it's pouring with rain?

Congratulations Georgina. DD2 was under 6 pounds when she was born a wee bit early but we got out of hospital after 5 days, so hope you can enjoy your grandson soon.

Watching Mad Men last night - Joan was wearing an amazing black spotty pussy bow blouse and a black wild flower skirt - such a great look, with a long chain down to her belt buckle and a massive ring. I though of Capucine's search for the ideal blouse.

Lucky you Linus. It's miserable weather here, we're off for a pub lunch. I think I'll wear green Cos midi skirt, tights & black Stans, a tee and black biker jacket. Have a lovely day.

Interesting Stokey I feel a bit protective of the trainers - but if they can deal with heavy rain that's a plus. The boots I have, have thin soles. I need ankle boots, just need the right ones. I saw the perfect Rag&Bone ones but they are out of season and I can't find my size, dammit.

Having same dilemma here Marsha. Going out for a pub lunch like stokey. Its definitely autumn. I am thinking jeans, H&M floral sweater, navy parka and maybe Clark's wedge desert boots. Will just be running from car to bar so should be fine.
