Nice Chanel, impressive

QueenofCardigans · 29/08/2015 18:54

I'm hyperventilating amber. Just about to go on date night and now I'm going to have to check my phone for updates Grin

marsha I like the plaid. Really don't like the logo tee at all (sorry)

Karcheer · 29/08/2015 18:56

Plaid.

What's in the Chanel bag?!?! It better not be a makeup haul!

I'm off shopping, must be sick.
I need to get two cardis now as I spilt pesto oil on my boden orange one :(

QueenofCardigans · 29/08/2015 18:57

KittyHello · 29/08/2015 19:31

Amber stop teasing us I want a live reveal ,stamps foot and refuses to leave laptop all night>

Marsha meh, sorry

QueenC I think I have the scarf you want, it was from Banana Republic last year, looked again today for you and could only find this one, no navy in it

Popped into town today as I wanted to see the LV scarf in the flesh, but couldn't find the colour I wanted. Saw some nice things in Cos but was not in a trying on mood, am also determined not to impulse buy so left empty handed. Shock

One well done on passing your re-sit.

Awks · 29/08/2015 19:59

One brilliantly done Grin

QC DP

my Teresa

my fave

KittyHello · 29/08/2015 20:05

Awks forgot to say, glad you've managed to order a trench or 2, I have the Gap one, from many moons ago, I don't wear it much, I don't know why as I like it, it doesn't have a buckle on the belt and that bugs me slightly.

Capucine00 · 29/08/2015 20:34

Fedup and Bernice

Thanks for those links and they're all bang on the money.

I usually go for more height in shoes, rarely wear complete flats and those Wallabies are a little like wearing cornish pasties on your feet but I was taken with the ribbons. Each pair had a different color.

Will have to stalk my shoe doppelganger Linus although I'm not usually a quirky shoe wearer. I wish I could carry it off.

MarshaBrady · 29/08/2015 20:42

I have defied all meh, but I blame my h

Stokey · 29/08/2015 21:24

The plaid Marsha?

What's in the bag Amber? Is it classic, black??

Liking the Zara links Fedup, may have to go for a good trying on session when school finally goes back ( only 3 more days!)

Cool wallabies Cappucine

Well done on passing One

Hope the Boden flats arrive soon Viva, mine held up well in the rain this evening!

QueenofCardigans · 29/08/2015 22:54

amber how dare you show us the bag but not what it inside .

Home from date night. The shoes ripped my feet to shreds so ended up walking bare foot through town Grin

QueenofCardigans · 29/08/2015 22:56

awks again, very close but not quite right. Sorry. betty I'm sure if BR had my perfect scarf last year I woukd have seen it. I'm sure I'll find the one at some point before the winter

Ujjayi · 30/08/2015 02:18

Hurrah! Finally managed to get back on the thread! Having re-registered, the app on my phone wouldn't allow me to open any threads.

Will have a proper catch up shortly. In the meantime, congrats One! Marsha I would go for the plaid only. QueenC hope you had fun on your date night. Amber - what's in the bag?!

I'm in the throes of reading The Life Changing Art of Tidying. I felt so overwhelmed opening the closets on my return after a month of living out of a suitcase. I have always believed that choice is a good thing but these days I am longing for a streamlined, smaller wardrobe featuring good quality staples with a few quirky vintage pieces to shake it up. I want to get my money's worth from my clothes. The holy grail of course but I'm hoping this book will be useful.

libertydoddle · 30/08/2015 06:23

Morning all. I am up early as I am still feeling poorly and needed lemsip.

amber a photo of THAT bag without a subsequent reveal is v bad behaviour. Up there with trolling methinks. Consider yourself warned Grin

And marshabrady you are on a yellow card too. Logo or plaid? I mean come on, you know what this does to us....

Two fashion dramas in my weekend. My Hipemena bracelet fell off while I was hunting for snacks for DD in my handbag and fell down the side of the car seat. It ended up totally tangled up and took me almost 40 mins to sort it out. Bad moment.

Drama 2. My Outnet order wasn't delivered on Friday so I have to wait until Tuesday.

Going back to bed now....

MarshaBrady · 30/08/2015 07:32

Noo Lib I don't know?! Both bad is that the yellow card?

I failed to return the Marant trainers and got the plaid too. However it is all dh's fault as he met me in town - brought in the big guns I'd had enough of trying to decide - and said I had to keep the trainers as they were good and since he had met me I had to get something else and he loved the shirt. I tried to resist but he insisted and bought it.

libertydoddle · 30/08/2015 07:37

No the yellow card was failure to come back and say what you had bought!

But you are out of the sin bin now. Your DH is a wise man. Plaid will be good and the trainers are good. Well done Smile

MarshaBrady · 30/08/2015 07:42

Smile Lib.

It was a fun night, he also then said we should go out spontaneously - I had scallops and quite a few drinks gosh they were good.

I failed to reduce items at Liberty, however I am sending back the green NLST t (too big) and Equipment minty jumper (too minty) and keeping the Jil S, which is very nice. So that's something.

libertydoddle · 30/08/2015 08:01

Yum. I love scallops. Sounds like a great night.

Really pleased the Jill S is good.

Karcheer · 30/08/2015 08:16

marsha glad the Jill S is good, it did look nice.
uujayi I'm really interested in that book. I've reduced my wardrobe so much since I joined this thread, but I really want to continue, I've so much stuff and not necessarily stuff I want. I really think I'd be happier with a reduced wardrobe of beautiful items and a few rock n roll bits thrown in. I hate cheap fabrics and tacky things, but do,sometimes seem to pick them up for some reason... Also my house needs de cluttering, my mum and the gardener both have said the house is homely (the gardener said he was happy to come in for a cup of tea) which is nice but what they both mean is it's messy lol! Hopefully we should start the extension soon (dressing room here I come) so that'll be a fresh start.
But I'm definitely buying less and better - or at least that's the plan.
Really going to try and keep to the capsule wardrobe from Tuesday.

KittyHello · 30/08/2015 08:19

Marsha my meh was for the logo on, was looking on the phone so only saw that. Just looked at the plaid one and it's lovely. Opinions are good but it's also good to trust your instincts too, glad your happy with your purchases. Sounds like a great night out.

Lib I seem to have lost most of my bangles/bracelets that I own. They either fall off or I put them down somewhere and can't find them. Am reduced to wearing a black leather Pandora one.

Ujj I'm trying to streamline my wardrobe too and took a black bin liner of clothes to the charity shop last week. I felt so much better finally getting rid of clothes that were clogging up my wardrobe. I'm doing shoes next.

Drywhitethanks · 30/08/2015 08:28

Haven't. Even able to get on for 24hrs Hmm
Marsha your DH is great.....and you know I adore scallops too.
Liberty hope you feel better soon.

I'm in bed with a cuppa and September Vogue, don't buy it often but DD rapidly turning into a chip off the block has been nagging me to buy a copy.

So, my "necessary" boring A/W work clothes purchases are done 2x merino basics from Gap, 2x Sloane fit trousers from BR (grey and black) now I don't need anything which means I can just get fun stuff Grin

AMBER you are awful........show us what you GOT

KittyHello · 30/08/2015 08:49

Dry l like the sound of your grey BR trousers. Am off to investigate.
