Whilst admiring that lovely APC sailor top - and denim skirt its teamed with, I noticed their washing recipes now that it is a wankery turn of phrase

Hands up who wahses their jeans like this? Hmm

Marsha are you on first name terms with the Liberty sales staff - you're in there so often! Wink

libertydoddle · 27/08/2015 17:00

Oh of course I do mine in seawater every time Wink
Thanks for the soothing noises and flowers. Feeling marginally less sorry for myself now.

capucine you have me craving brooches...

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 17:16

Ha I can dream Grin

It's this voucher, and lack of the same stock as the stuff I love at Matches. I mean I adore Liberty as a store and there's loads of nice stuff but I find it hard to concentrate in there and end up flustered. Plus dh is home and I can be free

Stokey · 27/08/2015 17:18

I'm not unfamiliar with Dalston supper clubs Cappucine Grin. I like the sound of cheeky librarian look too, and would love some Shrimps faux fur.
Glad the jeans worked well Fedup. I'm sure you'll get another peasant shirt.

If you've seen a shirt you prefer Marsha take the Liberty one back, you'll always be thinking of the other one.

Meant to ask about your Le Pliage hunt Dry. I assume the fact that you got the bracelet means the bag wasn't meant to be?

VivaVegas · 27/08/2015 17:46

Welcome to newbies and name changers, am struggling with a few but am sure I'll get there!
To catch up on questions I have loved my Gap denim shorts and wore them a lot on holiday and s fair bit since we got back and am wearing them today. Also my Hush black slouchy dress and Next harem jumpsuit. Sandal wise new animal print Gigis and patent Hush Gigi alikes.
All my recent sale purchases (Me&Em tops and dress, Whistles indigo skinnies and Ganni grey stripe sweatshirt) will see me well into autumn so looking forward to wearing those. Not sure what else I need but I do need the time to have a big wardrobe sort out before I start buying.
Cleansing wise I use Nivea sensitive eye make up remover and Nivea refreshing cleanser in the evening and just water dampened cotton wool in the morning.
I do fancy some of the gillie style flats lots of you have as but can't decide on the red Office ones or silver Boden ones. Stokey do you have the Boden ones already or are the silver ones your first pair?
Fedup what flared jeans did you get from Next?
Dry love the leather bracelet.

shopafrolic · 27/08/2015 18:27

Some interesting new collections for Mango here - seems to be slightly higher price points, quite a few jackets and coats look good.....scroll down to the bottom to see all the collections

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 18:44

Still here Hmm

Moved to shoes

How about Bobby Marant someone has these? Lara?

Or the Marant trainer in white hang on

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 18:48

A season or two too late? Marant leather trainer

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 19:11

Both might wear badly but suede might be better? For work too - casual dress usually

shopafrolic · 27/08/2015 19:14

Trainers for you (have replied via all mediums!!) Grin

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 19:15

Lol I need it Shop SA eyeing me up been here for ages trying them on waiting for you guys Grin

shopafrolic · 27/08/2015 19:27

I love that tho - when I'm in a store and I go 'hang on, I need to send a pic to my friends....'

shopafrolic · 27/08/2015 19:30

Skinny Marrakesh on ASOS for £80

LinusLovesBretons · 27/08/2015 19:32

I agree. Trainers!

Larastheme · 27/08/2015 19:33

Oh yes,I have those bobby marant, very comfy, still going strong here,

But for you marsha, I think the Bart, are more siutable? They go better with your style, but I'm concerned they will look to summery? Unless you go with the black ones?

fedup, Shock, that's a bit extreme!

Also a big welcome to all newbies, I have trouble keeping up,

Not feeling well, hope its just today, need to finish up something tomorrow,

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 19:35

Me too Shop they say really and I'm like don't you read vogue? Hmm cough Mn

Ok thanks trainers - but black or white??

Larastheme · 27/08/2015 19:40

marsha I don't think you read posts properly Grin, black black black

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 19:42

Grin I'm at the till I said hang on got to check the black - friend said black wait! So hot right now shop about to shut I've been here so long. Shopping fluster

LinusLovesBretons · 27/08/2015 19:45

Lol I love a live shopping thread! Yy, black marsha!

fedup none of those ways of washing jeans appeal to me. I usually wash mine after one wear.

Longislandicetee · 27/08/2015 19:45

DittoGrin

I was going to ask why you didn't send picture but guessing the SA would have called security!

Am so tired. Sat on train home stroking my Aspinal pony skin Hepburn bag.

I think summer is over. I have officially worn my last short sleeve dress in the UK!

Capucine00 · 27/08/2015 20:20

I want some spotty chiffon blouses with pussy cat bows. They need to be ever so slightly sheer, with thin ribbons, a deep V before the front buttons start and not too boxy.
colours, a base colour of cream or off white and tiny spots in ivy green or ox blood or charcoal or navy or ochre. I like all those typically Fall colors.

QueenofCardigans · 27/08/2015 20:53

You're such an indecisive shopper marsha Grin. Glad you got the white though.
fedup are they taking the p?? Who dry cleans jeans? I have to say that I do leave mine to be washed until they need it, they get so much more comfortable after a couple of wears. And I do put them on a gentle 30 wash.

onemightywizard · 27/08/2015 20:59

i wear my jeans until they are actually dirty or unless they get wet or something. washing them too much makes them loose and faded. i always low temp wash them inside out and only do them on a hotter wash if they get dirty with dropped food or something like that. i would never dry clean them, not unless they were platinum plated with gold piping Grin

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2015 21:05

I posted when I left before 5.00 it's 9.00 now I'm home, so much for quick shop Hmm

Here they are - sorry Lara and Linus Grin - nearly posted your old name L you'll always be that in my mind!

I'm not going back there for a loong time - unless Liberty send me bribing vouchers.
