Bloody hell marsha I should have looked on here, I could have met you quickly Sad.
Brilliant retail therapy. Bond St, South M St , Selfridges, Regent St literally got stuck in Hollistet, so dark, all those mirrorsShock .
Will come back with a wee linkie when home on I pad.
Bernice by far my Stan Smit trainers have been this SS heroes for me. Loads of wear, still going strong .

libertydoddle · 26/08/2015 17:40

shop as the state of my hair yesterday will testify I have no clue what will tackle frizz and every hairbrush I have ever tried has made my hair stand on end Grin. It might be worth trying a babyliss big hair. I used to have one and it made my hair look all swishy - just out of hairdresser look. I gave mine to my SIL last year when I decided to embrace the curls and I am now considering getting a new one.

I only double cleanse if I have worn a lot of makeup. Otherwise I'll remove mascara with micelluar (sp?) water (the Garnier one) and I cleanse with Body Shop camomile cleansing balm and use a hot cloth to remove. I always tone, alternate between Liz Earle toner and Nip&Fab pads.

MarshaBrady · 26/08/2015 17:50

Dry I would have met you! Would have loved a mini mu!

Shop I've heard also that Mason Pearson brushes are the best. I have a cheapo

MarshaBrady · 26/08/2015 17:51

Safety I like those, they could look very nice with right shoes and top.

shopafrolic · 26/08/2015 17:51

Linus I meant to say how much I loved that Acne cardigan (or is that more of a coatigan?) - think the second one looks more like a coat
Am going to have to save for this aren't I?
Our house gets v cold in the winter - I want something I can cosy up in with my UGGs on in the evenings, or wear up to London with skinnies and a tee.....
Blimey Mason pearson brushes are £££ aren't they - one of those things you have to invest in and use for ever I guess? I've had my first ever tangles in the last few days and running my fingers through it isn't cutting it!
Keep hearing about double cleansing and my skin is starting to look older - think I need to catch up on the latest routines quick. Keep them coming please :)

shopafrolic · 26/08/2015 17:52

Safety I'm not a huge fan of culottes (even though they are probably brill with kids in tow) but those look good.

Drywhitethanks · 26/08/2015 18:01

Culottes not me either, I'm too short. I think they only suit tall, willowy ladies......even WIT looked terrible in them and she's lovely. Sorry

Drywhitethanks · 26/08/2015 18:02

But hers were leather though Hmm

Drywhitethanks · 26/08/2015 18:02

Marsha gutted.

LinusLovesBretons · 26/08/2015 18:24

Love culottes on other people but I've never been brave enough to try them myself.

Hi lara, great boots. You are the boot queen Wink

dry soo Envy of your shopping day in London!

Love the tee you bought in Liberty's marsha, tempted myself.

None of the Outnet stuff tempted me enough to part with my £££. I am really trying to save up to buy quality stuff that I will be able to wear for years and years.

shop I have a Mason Pearson brush and whilst it's nice it's not amazing. I am however very impressed with my BBH.

I just dry my hair 80% with my hairdryer and then use the BBH. It does require a bit of time and I am lazy so I am considering getting a keratin treatment at the hairdresser but the cost is putting me off.

I do double cleanse, especially when wearing high SPF in summer, but my first cleanse is usually a wipe with cotton wool pads soaked in Bioderma and then a proper cleanse with a balm and a flannel.

LinusLovesBretons · 26/08/2015 18:25

And welcome whitechocolate!

FedupNagging · 26/08/2015 18:28

Those boot are fab Lara.

Culottes are a no no for me - make me look even shorter and dumpier than I already am.

Whilst I've not been keen on the new A/W stuff so far, I have seen a couple of peasant type blouses I think would work well with flares and skinnies. The one here is nice but not my colour.

Hi and welcome to Whitechocolate. Funnily enough, I saw the trench coat further down the page on the above link and decided I'd quite like/need one this winter. Unfortunatley, I cant find the coat on the website. probably just me

FedupNagging · 26/08/2015 18:34

Shop argan oil is pretty good to help frizzy hair and a brush with widely spaced teeth - and don't over brush!

Make up wise, I use clarins foam wash in the am mostly and the one stop cleanser in the pm. Also use a serum - Una Brenan Vit C at the moment (as recommended on one of the beauty threads) and Elizabeth Arden anti aging moisturiser. I change these regularly though.

Also use the liquid gold a couple of times a week too (again recommended by MN - was it you or Linus?)

Drywhitethanks · 26/08/2015 19:11

Can't find links. Only 2 purchases for me today but happy with both.
liberty and other autumns , a big plaid wool scarf from BR background olive green love mustard yellow but could pass as camel check. Will work so well withy camel coat and stone biker.
And finally I have a black leather bracelet.... From Longchamps with little gold hand bag, hang on

Drywhitethanks · 26/08/2015 19:15

in black

libertydoddle · 26/08/2015 19:47

Ohhh nice dry. I am tempted by the tan version. Scarf sounds great.

libertydoddle · 26/08/2015 19:50

Marsha meant to say earlier good Outnet sale haul. Especially the Jill Sander.

And re culottes I tried on a few different pairs in Cos recently and none of them looked quite right Confused

Larastheme · 26/08/2015 20:00

shop MP brushes are very £££ but worth it,I had mine for over 5 years.

Love the long champ charm bracelet dry,

marsha great outnet haul, love the JS sweater,

Oh, culottes are hilarious on me. so no,

Here is my AW spree, first the marant pieces:
these marant high wasted, but not in suede, cotton, very flattering, and surprisingly I didn't need to shorten them,so I think they would look short on tall people ,

this zipped cardi, but in cream, I just love ,love it,

this peasant top
I still have a wool skirt from marant on my wish list, just waiting for it to be available,

Larastheme · 26/08/2015 20:08

this chloe jacket, which is something I don't normally go for,but have decided to live a bit dangerously Wink,

And this cashmere turtleneck ,

LinusLovesBretons · 26/08/2015 20:16

Impressive shopping lara as always Wink

Love the Chloe jacket but without the fringes, you know how I feel about fringes

The zipped jacket is gorgeous as well and the turtleneck looks perfect for winter.

I love your bracelet dry! You finally found the perfect black leather bracelet!

Just painted my nails with a new wintery nailvarnish, the bordeaux colour from the Lancôme Caroline de Maigret collaboration. The face palette is gorgeous as well but £££.

Larastheme · 26/08/2015 20:21

Last one promise this breton, which I'm planing to wear, with a j brand ankle grazers skinnies in khaki,

MarshaBrady · 26/08/2015 20:21

Lara how beautiful! Love everything. What a nice way to welcome a new season.

Dry love your bracelet too.

Love all the links today, after the offline biz makes me want to say to everyone welcome back cotter Grin

LinusLovesBretons · 26/08/2015 20:26

Oooooh I love that A.P.C. Breton. Shame it's sold out in my size, otherwise I'd order it immediately.

safetyzone · 26/08/2015 20:34

linus, if it's XS you're after they have it in blue here:
apc

LinusLovesBretons · 26/08/2015 20:43

That is lovely but I think I prefer the white one as I like the way they styled it on the MyTheresa website. I would wear it with my Stella navy blazer. (And they don't deliver to where I live)

I think I should go for an xs as that's what the model wear. Not that I am model sized but on top I usually go for their size.

Did you go for an xs?
