Or this Vince one ?

libertydoddle · 25/08/2015 21:23

They are lovely blingy. I have to get new heels and soles a lot as I am hard on shoes. Have you ever had an extra rubber sole put over the leather one? Helps them last longer.

Drywhitethanks · 25/08/2015 21:30

THANK GOD!!!! We are back. capucine welcome. I adore your name. If I had another child which I won't because I'm past it id love that name bit odd if it were a boy, but if a mouthful where I'm from Grin

My A/W list is pathetic. All I want is a nice pair of good quality, washable, grey cigarette trousers with belt loops specific moi?

I may save up for some nice accessories . Could do with a statement clutch.

Drywhitethanks · 25/08/2015 21:32

And shop how disappointing about the dress.

And..... Am meeting friend for lunch tomorrow but am sneaking a couple of hours mooching round the west end beforehand..... Beyond excited but not a great idea really, bet I find something I "need"

LinusLovesBretons · 25/08/2015 21:41

Sounds great dry, wish I could join you for a browse.

Sorry, forgot to welcome capucine!

For A/W I would like to find the perfect coat. I have seen a lovely S McCartney one online but have yet to see it IRL.

Topazandpearl · 25/08/2015 22:03

Welcome capucine Smile.

To answer fedup's question from a few pages back, I have the ghd hairdryer with diffuser which does a really good job at drying my wavy hair without frizz.

No idea what I want for A/W apart from the black flats I already have - my thoughts are all focussed on interior decor at the moment!

Longislandicetee · 25/08/2015 22:04

Lib I think someone else mentioned that last year, it's a worth a try. What do I ask my shoe man for? (He sees me that often that he gives me a discount now and greets me by name!).

I am getting money in the next few of months so I was thinking about how I would treat myself. I have earmarked all the sensible things first (contributions to mortgage, pension, isa, savings and joint account) and the rest is all miiiiiiine! Hence I thought boots as a starter for 10.

QueenofCardigans · 25/08/2015 22:26

blingy aren't you getting glitter flats Too?
stokey I got the navy sweatshirt
shop it was a lovely dress but not meant to be. You have your fabulous red one.
My a/w list is getting longer by the minute. I need to think about what I really truly need which means getting my winter stuff out and remembering what I already have.

Drywhitethanks · 25/08/2015 22:36

stokey loving the sound of a gin bar

KittyHello · 25/08/2015 22:37

Been thinking about A/W and if I bought this LV stole it would go with everything in my A/W wardrobe, very tempting.

onemightywizard · 25/08/2015 23:39

my a/w wishlist is decent but not huge right now. i'd like a nice, roomy leather bag in either black or maybe burgundy, flat grey ankle boots in leather rather than suede, some nicely lined leather gloves in nice bright colours as well as black, a few wool hats, a cashmere scarf in a non fashion colour, probably black ,a few knee length to midi length skirts but not pencil shape and a couple of either merino or cashmere mix cardigans. i don't mind the brand of what i buy so long as it's not so expensive i'd be terrified to wear it and would encase it in glass to protect it, i'm not fussy so long as the fabric and styles are nice

libertydoddle · 26/08/2015 07:05

blingy I just ask for a rubber sole over the leather one! It's a common request, he will know what you mean. Lots of people do it
As well as protecting the sole it also makes them less slippy.

QueenofCardigans · 26/08/2015 08:05

one have you looked at uniqlo for cardigans.

More rain here. Joy.

libertydoddle · 26/08/2015 08:42

Miserable day here too QueenC. It's so dark.

Kitty meant to say that stole is gorgeous. Will you go for it?

KittyHello · 26/08/2015 09:07

Am seriously pondering it,Lib I don't need any boots, coats, jumpers as I bought a lot of these last a/w. So not in need of anything really, well apart from some good jeans, so am very tempted but I wouldn't be able to buy a single thing afterwards. I'd wear the scarf practically daily and would have it for years so i know I'd get great cpw from it. I'm in London is a few week's time so will look at it in the flesh.

Drywhitethanks · 26/08/2015 09:10

Pathetic to be so excited about shopping/ browsing isn't it? actually stupid thing to say on here, which is why I love you all even the rain is not putting me off but I'll have wet feet . Planning to race down Regent St where all my fav basic shops are.
Hair is perfect but will flop as soon as I leave the house Sad have a good day all.
Shame the Ines range isn't in store until 2/9 AND that Me and Em is temporarily closed for refurbishment.

MarshaBrady · 26/08/2015 09:56

Dry I'm going to Liberty!

onemightywizard · 26/08/2015 10:36

QueenC i got some cardigans in uniqlo earlier this year which have washed and worn really well so they are definitely on my list of places to look

shopafrolic · 26/08/2015 11:26

Mini MU for Dry and Marsha DO IT!
Crap weather here too.
Anyone found anything in the Outnet sale? Extra 40% off.......

Ujjayi · 26/08/2015 12:16

Hi all Smile. What crappy weather we've come home too Confused. I'm bundled up in trousers & sweatshirt, & just switched flats for boots Hmm

shopafrolic · 26/08/2015 12:29

Welcome back Ujjayi how are you doing? How was your break?

KittyHello · 26/08/2015 12:29

Ujjayi I wore boots yesterday for the first time in ages, will probably wear them again today when I go out.

FedupNagging · 26/08/2015 12:31

Yay, we're back in business.

Welcome back Ujjayi and hi to newbie Cappucine

Weather rubbish here too - cold and raining. Ootd is: J brand jeans, JCrew jewelled breton, jigsaw loafers - all J's, deliberate obv! Grin

Might look at the hair dryer Topaz although its probably £££ and I hate spending lots of money on my hair as it looks terrible whatever!

Gorgeous stole Kitty, go for it.

I've had a look at the new Ines for Uniqlo collection but its not really floating my boat. I really like the heavier weight cotton breton dress so will probably order that. I tried this look the other day (with a thin cotton dress) and it looked good so I want to do it with opaques and ankle boots in the winter.

Queen saw this top and thought of you.

onemightywizard · 26/08/2015 12:44

welcome home ujjayi i hope you had a lovely relaxing time

HappyGirlNow · 26/08/2015 13:05

Not posted for ages.. Currently in Greece on hols and just catching up.. My fave gin is a Tanqueray no 10 mmm... Although this week I'm mostly on the sparkling wine and daiquiris... Grin

I have a huge Autumn shop waiting on me ordering on my return home.. I'll link then..

shop what was the HL dress? Sorry hard to see ipad in this sunlight Wink I can't see original link but intrigued as almost everyone seemed to like it Grin
