Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

You must be good at it then Lib, despite it not being your favourite part!

Ugh at bites QueenC, the insects abroad are always worse somehow. Hope all the medicines help.

Loved reading the individual style rules posts, you capture yourselves so well. Despite having done the style day I'm not sure I could quickly write a list for myself, though I do know I'm definitely on the "fitted clothes" side of things. Will think on it as it could be very useful for me.

bettykt · 29/07/2015 21:00

Dry bet you're glad to be home and dry - excuse the pun. You're a tougher person than I am. You'll look back and smile laugh about it in years to come.

Not sure if I could write a long list about my style. Will have to think about it as I dress so differently in summer as opposed to winter and I need to analyse why Hmm

Loving the holiday updates.

Drywhiteplease · 29/07/2015 21:36

Betty tbh I'm laughing about it now, but would not repeat the experience.

QueenC eat garlic every day, in Greece last year I had tzatziki every day love the stuff and swear that's why the mozzies left me alone Smile

MarshaBrady · 29/07/2015 22:17

Love all the style posts. Will try and do them justice by doing mine later.

Oh Sho-op am checking out that Marbs thing you mentioned. haha

libertychick · 30/07/2015 07:23

Good morning lovely voguettes!

It's 30th July and I am wearing opaques and cashmere Confused

libertychick · 30/07/2015 07:24

You lot are weak - 21 in London today!

MarshaBrady · 30/07/2015 08:47

Chilly and sunny in Fulham. Will improve but have cashmere on.

MarshaBrady · 30/07/2015 08:52

Shop yes feel slightly grubby watching it, scraping the barrel more than MiC. But it is so funny. And the skinny blonde is good value.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 30/07/2015 10:38

Yes it's quite nice in London, I'm doing a lot of walking this week so have been in a uniform of dark skinnies, t shirt, khaki jacket and Nike Air Maxes.

I did wonder what you were drinking too Lib! Grin

It's so quiet here. We all got discharged from the case we were on and now just waiting around to be put on another.

libertychick · 30/07/2015 10:41

Maybe in your part of London amber Smile. I haven't removed the card I yet.

dry its mixed. Quiet in the burbs but central London stations like Victoria are hellish. Full of tourists and gangs of parents with kids who don't know where they are going some of us still need to walk at pace you know

libertychick · 30/07/2015 10:43

Is that your Topshop kakhi jacket Blair? I bought a John Rocha at debenhams one inspired by you and it is hands down my best summer purchase!

Greenlamp1 · 30/07/2015 11:10

Hi Libertychick, do you mind me asking what khaki jacket you have. Good sale on at the mo in Debenhams. Is it the linen one?

AmberNectarine · 30/07/2015 11:16

Fashion victim moment of the week? Have ordered one of those chain body harnesses.

OneLittleLady · 30/07/2015 12:25

i think you'll be able to pull it off Amber you have an adgy enough look for it to fit right in with the right things

It's july and I'm wearing a big jumper. It's one of Dp's old ones that doesn't fit, I like to call it my grunge jumper as it's so oversized on me

So, Dsis arrives tomorrow. I'm okay about it I think. I'm not dreading it as such but I don't know, i can see it being awkward for both of us and neither of us know how long it's going to be for, it could be a couple of months, could be much much longer, we just don't know yet. I don't know, I know i'm going to struggle having someone in my space, it's not because it's HER, it's just having someone, anyone in my space, if you get what i mean

Cranagh · 30/07/2015 13:45

Hi, hope you are all enjoying your holidays and the mosquitos leave you alone tonight, QueenC!

Glad you all had a blast at the meet up.

We have been home two weeks now, Liberty, all going well so far and we are looking forward to DH coming back tonight. He will be working in London Mon-Thurs. I'm back in my old room in my dad's house! Our house will be ready in the autumn. Trying not to spend anything for a while as the move cost us a lot (and I spent quite a bit before we left!) then will go shopping in Oct. All I've bought recently is make-up

That Into-Mind website is interesting.
I like:

  1. Fitted, not happy in anything loose or flowy
  2. Good fabrics, silk, cotton, cashmere
  3. Small jewelry
  4. Good accessories
  5. Summer colours suit me, I know, as did HOC
  6. Fairly classic style but also happy in t-shirts, leather jacket. Natural classic, maybe. Or is it classic natural? Don't know.
Cranagh · 30/07/2015 13:46

Hope it goes ok with your sister, One, I know what you mean. I like company but also happy on my own too.

OneLittleLady · 30/07/2015 13:54

i think it will be fine cranagh as long as she knows i'm not avoiding or ignoring her because it's her, it's just because i need my space away from the world!

I do small jewellery as well, big chunky necklaces make me very self conscious for some reason and then i can't stop fiddling with them which just draws more attention to them. I don't mind bigger earrings though for a bit of contrast and interest. bangles are generally a no go if they are not the half open cuff type ones as my hands swell too much for most bangles to go over them

QueenCardigan · 30/07/2015 16:09

It's a cool and breezy 29 here today. Coukd do with some opaques though to cover up the bites Grin.
cranagh sounds good that you've settled in. What's shopping like there? Will you need to order most stuff?

Drywhiteplease · 30/07/2015 17:01

Out tonight with girlfriends. Low key. Had 1 1/2jr siesta this afternoon a lot of sleepless nights are taking their toll, Andy goodness I need beauty sleep .
Am thinking khaki skinniest, black fine knot slouch sweater Shock aquazurra look a likes in black, animal clutch.

Drywhiteplease · 30/07/2015 17:21

Wintery outfit, may change as it's lovely here now.
Amber what on earth have you ordered? Shock link please Smile

QueenCardigan · 30/07/2015 17:25

Just finished reading champagne supernovas about kate moss, Alexander McQueen and marc Jacobs. Another fascinating insight into planet fashion. And makes me go off kate moss. I knew she was into drugs/booze but if all that is written in here is true it's a wonder shes still alive. Now need to decide what to read next. I've quite been enjoying a bit of fashion related non fiction. Any recommendations...?
