Have everything crossed for your df Shop. Hope you are having a lovely time.

It's raining here Sad although very warm.

Nice purchases Betty. Love the pool cover up.

One that all sounds very frustrating. Hope you get it sorted.

Ootd is BR black crops, pink spot silk sleeveless uniqlo blouse, pink cropped cardigan and animal print supergas.

Wish me luck, am off to IKEA!

BrandyAlexander · 07/07/2015 09:10

Good luck to Shops df.Thanks

MyVegasBaby · 07/07/2015 09:34

Amber you're a star! I came on here to post that the Hush sale had started and saw your post, I've never looked at their shoes before, have got a few tops and a dress that I love so hopefully I'll be just as pleased with these.
Sounds lovely Shop grey and chilly here today! Positive thoughts for your DF.
OOTD Maisin Scotch print jersey dress, Whistles black blazer and black M and S ankle strap shoes. Smart but not too smart!

BerniceBobsHerHair · 07/07/2015 10:34

Hope all goes well with your DF's op today Shop Flowers. White shorts sound good.

Meant to say, I love all the MNV shopping rules. Try to follow them, think they definitely lead to more sensible shopping (for me). The other I would add is about sales, and whether or not you would buy it FP or you are being swayed by the discount which I often am

Not that warm again here, OOTD is raspberry American Vintage t-shirt, midi length denim tube skirt and blue avorcas sandals. Plus denim jacket to go out.

Fedup I like the sound of your outfit, esp the polka dot uniqlo blouse.

Lib what has prompted the new spending ban?

bettykt · 07/07/2015 11:05

Positive vibes for your df Shop

Ootd is running kit atm, may give my flares an outing today. Haven't worn them yet. Blush

QueenCardigan · 07/07/2015 11:07

Morning. I'm still in exercise gear. About to go to the tip so will shower and change after that. Showers here and a little chilly.

shop sending positive vibes. Bet you're rocking the white shorts
stokey I love the topshop fig sandals. Have you seen all worn out. I think she has 3 pairs!

libertychick · 07/07/2015 11:08

I've spent too much in the last month Bernice. I have a few things I really need to save for and I'm slipping into spending money as a comfort thing - as well as clothes and bags I have been buying expensive lunches, several coffees a day etc and it's because I'm feeling anxious as work is seriously stressful and then I think I need a treat....not a good cycle.

Shop really hope all goes well for your Dad today. And I hope you can enjoy the sun in your sexy white shorts and not feel too stressed about it all Flowers

And good luck with IKEA Fedup - though hopefully quite mid week.

Final somber note, I am thinking about all the people affected by 7/7 today. I was in London that day, thankfully was out of the Tube and at my desk before 8.50am. I walked home from Waterloo to Golders Green Shock.

LinusDKD · 07/07/2015 11:36

Quickly popping in to wish your DF all the best for his op shop!

AmberNectarine · 07/07/2015 12:05

Yes, crossing fingers and toes for Shop's dad.

Glad to be of service myvegas!

OOTD here is TS bleached dungaree shorts over TS grey tank and silver ASOS espadrilles.

Stokey I have the topshop Figtree sandals - the longer length version of the figs. I really like them but they do make my legs hot. Not a problem with the Figs!

QueenCardigan · 07/07/2015 12:14

lib me too. Can't believe its been 10 years. It was scary travelling home across central London that evening but there were a serious amount of armed police around.

OneLittleLady · 07/07/2015 14:42

all the best to your DF shop Thanks

LinusDKD · 07/07/2015 14:51

I happened to be abroad on a worktrip on 7/7 but DH, DSis and her boyfriend and DBIL were all still in London so it was awful having to wait for news as the phonelines were jammed.

I flew back to London that evening and a lovely taxi driver drove me all the way home from City Airport.

I remember taking the boat to Canary Wharf the next day as I had promised DM not to take the tube. Sad

It is sooo hot here, nearly 40 degrees again.

Drywhiteplease · 07/07/2015 15:06

Sending positive vibes to shop's DF.

Mixed up weather here .... Just been caught in massive downpour thank goodness for my "work coat" merell Wakefield, first MN purchase, functional, totally incredible but not fashionable rain coat

shopafrolic · 07/07/2015 15:44

Sat by the pool watching DS splash about. DM says DF is out of theatre but she has missed visiting hours until this eve so will know how it went then I guess. Thanks all.
So hot it is uncomfortable here which is weird as 40 didn't feel this hot in GC.
Felt good in the shorts, just had to be careful around toddlers with sticky fingers! Might be tempted by white jeans next year.....
Thoughts to all affected by 7/7. My now ex boyfriend would have been on the underground train but it was full so he waited for the next one. Remember the panic checking that he was alright. Must be a somber mood in London today. Time goes so quickly.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/07/2015 21:21

Hi all. Sending best wishes to your dad shop, hope it all went well. I'm loving your holiday pics on fb, it looks fantastic :)

I can't believe it's been 10 years since 7/7 either. It has gone so quickly.

fedup how was ikea?

Bernice your OOTD sounded lovely.

I have nothing to report except that my Oasis striped tube dress arrived and I love it. :)

Drywhiteplease · 08/07/2015 08:03

Flame me now...........but I'm getting that A/W feeling.
No 1 on A/W wish list :
A pair of washable dark grey cigarette leg trousers for work.

MarshaBrady · 08/07/2015 08:35

It's understandable Dry! the weather has changed here

MarshaBrady · 08/07/2015 08:46

Mara cough there was a mix up by the project guy, it didn't happen in the end! damn that guy

Shop hope all is ok with your df

I ordered some stuff from asos, will check I got the right sizes and link.

AmberNectarine · 08/07/2015 09:34

DD's birthday today - my baby is 4! She is twirling around in her new Stella M tutu. DH said 'great, get her started on designer clothes early' with a face like this Hmm.

bettykt · 08/07/2015 09:39

If/when you find them can you let me know Dry I like the sound of them already.

I don't know if it's me but I just can't seem to get excited about summer clothes. Shock, horror, kick me off MNV now Grin My summer clothing is a lot cheaper than my winter clothing, I love a good coat, boots, scarf and jumper. I feel a bit undressed in the summer.

Question: Do you prefer dressing for summer or winter?

BrandyAlexander · 08/07/2015 09:40

Omg! Flame flame flame Dry!Shock

I want to curl under a rock and cringe forever.Blush Last week ds walked on us having sex. We had a sheet over us so it was fine. He didn't see anything. Then at the weekend, I am fairly sure the dpils heard us.Blush Then on Monday night dd walked in on us. There were no sheets. And err we were in interesting positions. Blush I don't think she saw anything because it was dark. She hasn't said anything. I think it's because during the day dh and I are always tactile and horsing around. Or maybe she was so sleepy because it was about 1.30am. I hope.Blush

AmberNectarine · 08/07/2015 09:55

Novice my DCs have walked in on us dozens of times. I wouldn't worry about it!

QueenCardigan · 08/07/2015 10:00

Bloody hell novice how do you find so much time for sex Grin Envy!!

dry I'm with you. I nearly posted the same thing last night!

betty I kind of like dressing for both. I tend to find more things in the shops that I like in the summer-little tops and blouses- as I'm not really a jumper person. But I do miss my cardigans in the summer! I prefer winter for nights out as I find it easier to wear dresses/tights/heels or trousers.

Happy birthday to mini Amber.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 08/07/2015 10:09

Lol, that's what I was thinking too QC Grin

Autumn / spring for me Betty - I like jackets, jumpers, jeans, closed toe shoes. Not so keen on proper winter dressing though.
