Randomly had a Boden delivery today! Ordered the pink fifties cardigan for myself - normally cardigans make me look like anyone's mother in law but the tight, cropped nature of this one means it's ok. Will be good for work, I think. Also got a lobster print playsuit for DD (start them young, I say - she's wearing flamingo sandals, a pom pom dress and a bowler hat with cats ears today).

Have had a busy weekend - DCs have had four parties between them! Will be glad to have some peace tomorrow! Poor DD managed to step on a bee yesterday, but she has been very stoical.

Yes, definitely coming to MU - have warned DH he is on DC duty.

Has anyone tried the Topshop Fig sandals? They're a bit of a hit with some of the bloggers and am quite tempted by them.

Ugh, it's still 40 degrees here. I was sooo hot today. I wore my new H&M playsuit and was still melting most of the time.

I showed my H&M dresses to a friend today and she's also going out to buy at least one.

Hope those that woke with hangovers are feeling better now. Amazingly, I had no hangover this morning [smug emoticon]. The concert was fab except for the hour it took to get out of the carpark and no blanket needed as it was still 20 degrees at midnight.

Queen I love the Iro jacket and the Valentino bag is not too shabby either.

Dry I pinned from the website which is a pita on an iPad. When you go onto pinterest, you are automatically taken to the app which I shut down then go back to the site - it will ask if you want to use the app so I tap 'cancel' - at this point you should be able to use the site cross all fingers, toes, wish on a star etc etc

Busy weekend here and busy week ahead so may not be around much.

Stokey I like the look of the Fig sandals but I like a lot of Topshop shoes but inevitably when I actually try them tend to find them uncomfortable. Same with Boden shoes. Have given up on both actually...

Lib I struggle with TS (too uncomfortable) and Boden (too narrow) shoes too which is a shame as Boden esp have some fab styles.

My ootd had been shorts but it's now jeans as it wet and cold!

OOTD is white jeans, grey American Vintage t-shirt, black and white knitted jacket and superstars. It is quite wet here.

i am fuming with my neighbour. his cat has brought fleas in AGAIN and he's refusing to treat the shared area between our doors because he says he's too old. i don't bloody care how old he is, if he's got a cat, he does what needs to be done otherwise he needs to rehome it. i know that's harsh but it's not fair for him to keep expecting me to not only have to treat my own home and cat but also the shared areas AND for me to pay for it. i'm fed up and i'm going to report him for not looking after his cat properly. it's not right. i feel bad because he's old but if he can't do the care then he needs to find alternatives to having the cat

thanks lib i'm not so much angry as really frustrated. I take my cats health and treatment seriously, i want her to be safe and comfortable and he's just being an arse over it. I'm going to try and speak to his niece when she next brings his shopping and see if she can't get through to him that it's a big problem. I don't want him to lose his pet, i know he loves him but if he can't take proper care of him, then it's a problem.

i haven't lost weight, not a pound but my brother, completely out of the blue, told me the other day that he can see i've got smaller. he's really not a compliment giver so it must be very noticeable for him to pass any sort of comment on it, good or otherwise. i know myself i've got smaller, i am wearing a jeans size down now and some of my sweaters and tees are baggy on me now as well

Steve Madden sandals are really nice but annoyingly too small so they'll have to go back and they don't have the next size in stock. The search for an alternative continues. If anyone sees any nice flat Gigi style black patent or silver (with beads/jewels) please let me know!
