I'm wearing my Boden chambray shift dress/tunic with orange Gigis......have had a few positive comments, will wear this again.

stokey I wore the blue/white striped dress today. I just hope they wash well.

lib have another beer on me. I just love cold beer on hot days. Especially in ice cold glasses like they do in Oz.

Spent most of the day at a cooler 2100 m but when we came back home it was 38 degrees. Too hot!!

My DH is a kiwi Linus and he always puts glasses in the freezer for beer.

QueenC some of the French shops like Sandro don't do returns and Matches don't do returns if you buy in store as far as I know. The trousers I bought in Gerard Darel the other day are not returnable as they were bought in store. But UK law is that anything bought on line must be returnable.

French Connection won't refund on sales items bought in-store but legally must offer refunds on items bought online... I imagine some other stores are the same.

Just got in, far too late for an old lady! Great night though although fluffing water now to try and avoid feeling too bad in the morning

Morning all! In bed while the paracetamol that dh has given me slowly eases the champagne fuelled hangover. Dh and I went to a party last night - it's been so long since we went to one though we have lots of things in the diary this summer.

I decided to raid the past for my outfit. I wore a beautiful red Coast chiffon dress with spaghetti straps that I last wore when now dh and I had our engagement dinner and our engagement photos were done. Matched it with my favourite black wedges from Ravel (they're about 15 years old and look new!) and my first Prada bag which I bought in Rome about 13/14 years ago. It's tiny and rarely used these days as its not practical if I am with the dcs. Totally loved my outfit.

Novice outfit sounds fab. Love resurrecting outfits too, also have a red dress that I wore for part of our wedding celebrations that is still a favourite now.

We were out at a good friend's 40th BBQ yesterday. Wore red Tart dress, knee length with wrap top part and spaghetti straps. Felt good. Out for brunch with friends today but it's raining boo hoo. Will feel strange to be back in jeans.
