Oh One how stressful, but pleased he's OK.

Have a wonderful holiday Novice

No idea what to wear today, it looks lovely now but rain predicted later. Bit sad I don't have a Eurovision party to go to tonight, I do love the cheesy spectacle of it all.

OneLittleLady · 23/05/2015 08:10

thanks for all support of course I'm beyond happy he's okay but by god could I strangle him right now. It's probably a good job for him he's 200+ miles away from me right now! in truth i'd probably just cry at him

Fedupnagging · 23/05/2015 08:30

Karbea am trying to link a few things for you but iPad playing up and I need to get up now Sad

But, I think this would be a good colour for you here

Karbea · 23/05/2015 08:47

fedup yes that's exactly what I'm thinking! was just saying to dh I need to create a little capsule wardrobe (like my holiday one) of autumn colours. So a couple (3 probably)of leggings, slouchy ts, bra tops, trainers, some other kind of footwear. A cardi/jacket of some sort...

I've found lots of nice brands but all seem to be In the US.

One glad he is ok.

MyVegasBaby · 23/05/2015 08:49

Was someone looking for red flats??
red pumps

MyVegasBaby · 23/05/2015 08:52

Morning!
Hope you got some more sleep Queen I'm rubbish if I get woken too early!
Have a great holiday Novice, how were the Tart dresses? Have eared marked a couple of them although different styles as maybes for my holiday.
What a scare One!
Most of my gym stuff is black, blue and pink Karbea but I do have some orange and grey, very old though.

libertychick · 23/05/2015 09:27

Autocorrect has a lot to answer for one. I'm sending a stern look in his direction on your behalf.

Hope your DD is OK QueenC.

Motorbikes are not a topic I ever expected to see on here. My dad had one when I was very young. He got a small helmet for me and I have memories of wizzing around winding country roads in Ireland clinging onto him. I must have been only 4 or 5. His times have changed shudders at the thought of DD on a motorbike

OOTD the RI indigo Jenna jeans turned up, Elia B leopard loafers, Hobbs teal boat neck jersey top, long Jigsaw cardi which used to be pale marl grey but I have dyed in to a pale mustard. Various bits of gold tone jewellery.

novice have a fab holiday. I am Grin and Shock at your semi nude selfies to shop. Am loving the image of shop getting them and as always maintaining total composure and treating it as totally normal it's not you know GrinGrin

BrandyAlexander · 23/05/2015 09:27

Thanks for holiday wishes. Thanks We are off to Portugal.

So results of my holiday clothes shopping......

I kept this blue kaftan as it looked great (even over the pink braWink) but sent the White one back.

I also sent this Dorothy Perkins dress back.

The Tart dresses were mixed. this one looked fantastic and summery and sexy on whereas this one was horrific and made me look matronly as it showed every lump. This one was lovely on top, nice cleavage but the skirt made me look like my mum (Shop was much more polite!Grin) so I kept then first and sent the other two back. Instead, I got this Mango dress in both navy and red. It looks lovely on.

libertychick · 23/05/2015 09:29

Above should have been 'how times' not 'his times' - doh!

stokey dry will be along soon with LOTS of fancy dress ideas!

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 09:30

Have a great holiday Novice Smile

shopafrolic · 23/05/2015 09:34

Blimey - bikes, drama and semi nude Novice all in one morning and it's only half nine!
Glad DP is ok One
Novice you can send me pics like that anytime Wink Shame the M&S ones were too big. Have an amazing break - you totally deserve it. MWAH
I came off the back of a bike when I was about 17 so I'm not a big fan anymore but I totally get the appeal. I'm a car girl - love a track day (used to work for a company that does experience days so have had a lot of chances to drive). Highlight was being loaned a Ferrari F430 for the day and pretending it was mine :)
Stokey so much fancy dress! Shock Villains - I'd go as the woman from Gone Girl - she's totally crazy! Or there must be a good Bond villain......

shopafrolic · 23/05/2015 09:36

Do you know what Novice when I saw the pics I assumed you were trying on over a bikini - I'd have paid much more attention if I'd realised it was underwear Wink Grin

OneLittleLady · 23/05/2015 09:41

I've never been on a motorbike and it's unlikely I'd now get on one. I'd love to though

novice where were my pics? Wink

stokey harley quinn? poison ivy? I'm just in DC mode as Suicide Squad is filming so I've been giving a lot of thought to what it's going to be like haha

Cranagh · 23/05/2015 09:46

One, that's a serious spell checker mistake, glad he is ok!

Love the Italy talk. I lived there for a year (in Florence and Siena). Love Portifino, Sestri Levante is also gorgeous and go to Siena for the Palio. It's an amazing country.

I can see the appeal but if my DDs ever go on a motorbike, I will be extremely unhappy.

Congrats on the new job, Karbea. I love Lululemon for gym gear.

Shop, Theory is really well made, great label, it was my go to for work.

Returned the wine coloured MBMJ Natasha bag as the colour wasn't right for me, don't think I have bought much recently apart from this swimsuit which the lovely Amber found or me.

Liberty, do you mind if DD2 comes along with me? I forgot her nursery will be closed that day. She will sit happily (I hope!) if I buy her a magazine and a biscuit, and promise to take her shopping afterwards!

Enjoy half term and holidays to those going away, everyone!

Topazandpearl · 23/05/2015 10:02

One how scary for you, so glad he is ok.

I am experiencing the weird feeling of being in Ireland, and yet not. I am in transit in Dublin airport on the way to the U.S. Will be pre-clearing US Immigration shortly and will then have the weird feeling of being in the U.S., but yet not!

Have a lovely holiday, everyone who is going away and those staying at home and (especially novice) have a good rest.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/05/2015 11:15

Karbea I was definitely showing my ignorance about the autumnal workout clothes, loving all your finds on Pin :)

QueenC I used to go on the back of my dad's bike too, I was older, about 10. We did do long trips though, we used to go to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and bypass all the crazy queues. I remember having a mini leather jacket and my mum's helmet.

Happy that's so cool that your DH is an actual racer! Envy of the Chanel sunglasses too.

Have a lovely time, all the half term holidayers.

My day isn't going as planned. I was up really early to get my car looked at, I was determined not to feel patronised (I did my research and know a quite a lot about cars) but it didn't work, sigh. I am not sure if it's possible to go to a garage as a single woman and not get talked down to, but maybe I just have a chip on my shoulder? Blush anyway, my car potentially needs a new clutch which is just great.
DH is having his bike serviced but it's taking all day so he's catching the train home and we might go out together.

Have a good Saturday everyone.

Hello again. Dh swapped beds with me as he could hear me shouting at dd in desperation to go back to sleep. Her cough isn't too bad but just enough to stop her going to sleep. We are all absolutely knackered! Just been for a run though so feel better. Really sunny here and thats not what the forecast said so I have no sandals and a mixture of long sleeves and even a heat tech vest with me.

Whoever asked about Naples, I don't remember much about it so it presumably wasn't that memorable (it was over 10years ago) but I did love Capri.

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 12:22

I went to Nalples last year....MEVER again. Loved Sorrento and Vapri though.
"happy" bike racer DH ? Wow! But big wow on Chanel sunnies. I've been wanting a pair for years. Can afford them but I'm terrible at wearing on head and dropping.
"Blair" patronising garage men are the pits, but I often us it to my advantage. When looking around for a new car I actually didn't but the car I qNted because the sales man was such an idiot......
Well, I'm feeling sheepish. Long story but I'm totally RUBBISH with money and feeling like a crazy shopaholic. Not bought anything particular but it just goes Confused I have no self control.
Novicefunny about the photos Grin

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 12:24

Grin can you tell I'm on my phone? Why are the bloody keys so small?

Cranagh · 23/05/2015 12:52

I'm the same with money, Dry. Have a pair of Chanel sunglasses older than my 7 yo and have managed not to break them, they are well made.

Hope DD gets well soon, QueenC.

Cranagh · 23/05/2015 12:53

Topaz, have a great trip, it is so handy to go through immigration in Dublin and not the US!

QueenCardigan · 23/05/2015 16:46

I have a nice relaxing few mins so thought id do a bit of fantasy shopping now as probably won't get a chance in the morning....

QueenCardigan · 23/05/2015 16:47

for dry. Do you have a red bag? Can really see you with this

QueenCardigan · 23/05/2015 16:48

gorgeous

QueenCardigan · 23/05/2015 16:50
