been trying to figure out part of my last assignment for this year until resits and realised after an hours work, i'd been doing totally the wrong thing! not to worry though, i know what to do now so tomorrows going to be easier

really hoping to make this MU, have to find out if Dp is out of the country or not though as that will be the deciding factor, well, that and if i have anything to wear that doesn't make me look like i've been dragged through a hedge!

Did you return your Dune shoes Dry I reordered them cheaper from here www.spartoo.co.uk/Dune-CRISTINA-x925445.php in case anyone is interested. I didn't wear them to my evening out in the end but decided to keep them as they are so lovely.

dry dh bought me a Cambridge satchel company bag for Xmas and when I was choosing colour I thought "I should go neutral to go with more etc" but decided on red as I thought you kind of have to go for a brighter colour with them and I actually don't use any other bag because it goes with so much that I wear!
So definitely choose a colour you wouldn't normally choose for your next bag as you may be surprised how much it will go with.

How did you manage to find Stans on Asos Maz?! I have been looking for ages and they never have them in my size.

dry I think you should venture into bright bag territory. I love my bright bags (indigo and yellow) but I agree with queenc my teal Tod's gets worn a lot.

I would love a red bag (my Cambridge satchel is red but quite casual so doesn't always work) but I am so fussy about my reds I can never find a bag in just the right kind of red.

Bonne chance Dry! I've still only worn mine once, just doesn't quite fit with the rest of my wardrobe or life at the moment - think it works best with skirts, so am hoping if I ever start working again it will come into it's own.

Gosh summer is coming very quickly - I was writing out my whiteboard calendar today and am only 6 weeks away from holidays. I have a list of a few holiday bits and bobs I'm hoping to pick up in the sales:
A Hoola bikini
cut offs
beach cover up
a couple of cotton dresses
birkies
and towelling beach robes and UV swim stuff for the kids

that's quite a lot in fact!

This was my perfect H&M summer dress from last year. I may just buy the same again in stripes and dark red for this summer.

stokey same here about going away in about 6 weeks. I've just received my boden rash vest ready for when I burn random bits of my back and shoulders (I always either miss bits or straps rub the suncream away). I also ordered their chino shorts. How have I never discovered these before? I love them! Am stalking the website now for the colour and fit that I want next!

The Matches DvF dress has arrived and it's lovely. I need to try it on properly once the DC are in bed though.

It's a bit shorter than I usually wear for more 'dressy' dresses so I think I'll get most wear out of it in Autumn/Winter with opaques.

I had forgotten how gorgeous Matches boxes are. I keep all of them but have still to find a way to re-use them.

Now all I need to do is wait for DHL to send me their duties bill.

linus I did want the green and office were the only place that has them in my size (size 7) but asos had the navy, so with the discount I kind of thought I'm not that fussed about the colour of the logo, if it saves me money!

WFH this morning but out for meetings this afternoon - outfit is this skirt with cream LK Bennett shell top and a cropped dark green cardi - some random TK Maxx label! This Accessorise necklace as recommended by novice, gold studs. Haven't decided on shoes yet...

Finery trousers have arrived. They don’t suit me unfortunately but I am really impressed with the quality and cut. I’ll definitely try out other things from them. And quick delivery, everything nicely packaged, free returns – thumbs up all round.

I didn't really have a NAP wishlist. I've been good and had a really quick browse of everything up to £150 or so, the only thing that caught my eye was an iPhone cover. How annoying that your things sold out Lib. Your outfit today sounds fab, that skirt is amazing and I don't think I've seen you link it before.

My turquoise Massimo Dutti blazer arrived yesterday. I'm so impressed, the quality is stunning and if it had a price tag of £200 I wouldn't be surprised.

QueenC with sober colours and subtle accessories I was going to wear it today but ended up putting on a yellow top. I think I'll try it with navy and grey Me+Em dresses. I'm also tempted to take a pic with it over the salmon Armani and a bright belt and put up a pic of "how HoC would like me to dress"

Woohoo, just got the navy chino shorts in my size. There must have been a return. Holiday sorted now as 4 pairs of shorts is adequate. Just want to get a couple of cheap tees for the beach.
