HappyGirlNow · 23/05/2015 21:02

Oooh I love this thread - but god, how do you all keep up with it??? Grin

Yes DH races but only a few weekends a year, it promotes his company too.. Really good day, really good results (he's amazing on the bike (very hot!) and managed to get a bit sunburnt Blush oops

re Chanel sunnies, I have 3 pairs Blush as well as several pairs of ray bans, a pair of Prada, pair of Michael Kor's.. Guess I have a sunglasses obsession..

shop (I think it was shop!) - Ferrari sounds amazing!!

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:03

Oh Cyprus has a lovely dog.......

Karbea · 23/05/2015 21:05

libertychick · 23/05/2015 21:10

Grrrr DH has vetoed the eurovision - will check in for the voting. My gay friends in Ireland are celebrating the Yes vote with lots of prosecco and eurovision, they have told me to place a bet on Sweden to win with Norway in the top 5 these guys are EV obsessives

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:10

Happy I just love this thread because despite the name it's about so much more than fashion.
We were leant a friend's FerrariModena when DS was a baby, 15 yrs ago, he took our car with the baby seat and we went away without the baby and had a lovely weekend. People just loved the car, DH made loads of friends in the hotel. A great weekend....I wore a camel suede skirt, black heeled boots, black polo neck....it was amazing but noisy . When we got back our neighbour's son was on his way to beavers, absolutely crazy about the car, Dh drive him to scouts then spent an hour and a lot of petrol giving all the little scouts rides Grin

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:12

liberty at this point, I'd put money on Sweden or Serbia

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:14

Poor Belgium Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/05/2015 21:16

I quite liked Lithuania. They all blur together at this stage, the results are the best bit imo! Waiting to cringe at our entry, haven't heard it yet.

Dry lol at Louis Walsh of 1D. He wishes! I love how you recount the Ferrari story, complete with outfit. It's fun remembering what I wore at memorable times.

Karbea · 23/05/2015 21:19

My ex-dh and I hired a Ferrari for his 30th, the car was amazing again we made loads of friends out with it, plus loads of people tried to race us. We took loads of pictures and planned to tell the children which we never had that we'd owned the car and had to sell it because of them -evil just as well we never had children--

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:21

Blair I ALWAYS remember what I wore on big occasions.......

OneLittleLady · 23/05/2015 21:21

I am pleased to report that Dp is here safe and sound with no hospital visits and thankfully feeling more human than he did when i finally woke him up this morning. He came bearing a gift but I should stress it was a gift he bought last week, not today, so it isn't something he bought to placate me after the scare he gave me this morning ( i already knew he'd got something for me so I absolutely know he didn't buy it today!). Anyway, it's a lovely, dainty little sterling silver chain bracelet with a little filigree gold heart dangling from it. It's very pretty. Much more than that though, I'm just glad he's okay

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:24

Ferrari friend took DH and DS (then 8) in his car to Le Mans. DS still talks about it.

Greece is dramatic....bit of a Bond theme tune, great key change. Rubbish

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/05/2015 21:26

High five Dry!

That's nice One, how long is he with you for?

Montenegro is a bit serious, finally a non English song though!

Fashion faux pas....GN just called Germany's jump suit a "catsuit" tut tut

OneLittleLady · 23/05/2015 21:37

He's here til thursday/friday, wish he could stay longer but he has to work next weekend Sad

I tend to remember important outfits too, like i remember what i was wearing exactly when i met dp in the pub and what i wore when i met him the following week and then the week after that. i even have some of the things i wore on some of our dates still

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:39

Latvia wins "most extreme dress".....she must be standing on something under all that tulle Shock

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2015 21:49

Spain wins most fabulous outfit, beautiful dress and the only woman I've seen who can pull off those strappy sandals that tie up to your knee......beautiful. Rubbish song though

Karbea · 23/05/2015 21:52

I love the Buck's Fizz type outfits.
Hungary is dull too.

shopafrolic · 23/05/2015 21:54

Evening all. Drunk after impromptu visit to neighbours who serve great wine! queenC do you think I could with those Etro pants? I kind of love them....
No Eurovision here have come home to DH watching Fast and Furious 6 so early night for me!

mazj4cks · 23/05/2015 21:58

Evening everyone..
I'm out for a friends birthday tomorrow for food and a few afternoon drinks (not many as the birthday girl is pregnant so won't be a late one!)
My outfit will prob be boyfriend jeans , woven cami in white and my red blazer which is like this but I'm unsure which shoes to wear as weather isn't looking great. Do I go beige ankle boots or flat leopard print almond toe sling backs?? I don't have any pics of the shoes but they're pretty standard! Smile
