Summer and holidays are coming, and the Voguettes will be more than ready!

All welcome and the more links the better but please don't mention House of Colour. Wink

I quite like these

bettykt · 14/06/2015 20:16

I'm in on the Celine box bag too, now what colour shall we have?

Shop sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly, family drama can't have helped much either Flowers

Lib been thinking about how I'd react if a male colleague complimented me on my clothes. Thing is it'll never happen as I dress fairly androgynously. ie boring in boring colours.

Blair have to say those Aquazzuras are pretty damn sexy shoes. Especially in the colour which you have.

Lib definitely send the dress back, clothes are meant to make us feel good about ourselves not uncomfortable! On the whole compliment thing from men, i tend to value them as much as women. We women are always looking at each other and commenting, so a nice compliment from a female colleague is always appreciated. I tend to find the men who compliment me are kind of going out of their way to do so, as they always seem to be worried I will take it the wrong way and break their balls. (Ahem, I might have a fearsome reputationBlush). it's always given hesitatingly so find quite sweet really.

Shop and Justa ThanksThanksThanks.

Hi everyone.

Thought I'd do a proper check in as I've been so absent!!

shop sorry you're poorly! Sad hope the doctors can help.
Also unfortunately I won't be able to make the mu but hopefully make the next one. Would be nice to finally put some faces to the "names"! Smile

Nothing too new with me.
Diets going good..1stone 3lbs down so chuffed with that.
I have a really big list of things I want!
I've given up on espadrilles and have to decided to just get Stan smiths, hopefully get them ordered this week. As well as a rucksack!! Grin
I also really want some dungarees like these just not sure if they'll suit me.

Also love the Orange lanvins. Great colour!

libertychick · 14/06/2015 20:39

Smile at novice. I can imagine the nerve it would take! It is hard for men in the workplace actually. Both of the men who complimented me are lovely and it felt sincere. I'm just a wierdo!

Hello Maz! Wow, some achievement on the weight loss! Well done. Thanks

Lib not weird at all. a lot of us on this thread have really focused on getting our styles, colours right for us. Rl people are bound to notice and compliment. I have only been to church and dsis' house today but feel really good in my animal print warehouse top (did you keep yours or send it back??!!), dark blue gap jeans and silver and amber jewellery. I feel really good. I wouldn't have put this outfit together 2/3 years ago as I would have thought the animal print was a bit "out there".

bettykt · 14/06/2015 20:58

Love those Rossi boots, ,swoons> khaki is my new favourite colour, I seem to be buying tees, jackets and belts in this colour, think I'm an autumn as I love orange too. Will still wear black though!

libertychick · 14/06/2015 21:06

novice I sent it back. Regret it now! I had the 'spending ban' urge the day it arrived and decided step one was returning it.

Betty I think you are an autumn! You look great in those colours.

Love that BMB dress QueenC. And the Erdem you linked for dry.

BrandyAlexander · 14/06/2015 21:17

Nooo! Did it suit you? Or not enough to keep? It was £28!!!

Omg I absolutely love the iro jacket that queenC linked!

Call me innocent but is that play suit meant to go over anything?!Blush

libertychick · 14/06/2015 21:27

Yes I know. I am a fool! It was full price not £28.... cause the £10 makes all the difference.

I love the IRO jacket too. I have a similar one I got in Mango that I wear all the time.

Am justifying a dress splurge on the basis that (apart from new jeans) I haven't bought any clothes in 10 weeks. Have allocated a sales fund then I will stop spending again until Oct. Trying to buy less but buy better Smile

shopafrolic · 14/06/2015 22:13

Good stuff on the weight loss Maz that's awesome Star

AmberNectarine · 14/06/2015 22:17

Evening all

Just back from my 10 miler. That was hard work! Flats tomorrow, I think!

Not much fashion news to report - still dithering over the DVF dresses as DH was no use, he likes them both. Have also ordered a maverick asos dress which could be a possible dress for the wedding. We shall see!

maz amazing weight loss. I love my Stans, wear them most days.

lib weirdly I love getting compliments on my outfits from the men in my office, makes me feel like I've made an impact if one of them notices what I'm wearing! novice is right though, you have to feel comfortable.

shop thanks have got MM skyplussed. I have it on DVD but this is less effort Wink

Drywhiteplease · 14/06/2015 22:32

QueenC the price £1091.67 of the dress made me laugh. Why did they bother with the 67p?

Liberty fascinating stuff, fashion psychology. I've been trying to note when people really comment on something I'm wearing, after you said you did this. Sadly high on the list is the bleach ruined Broderie dress Sad. If anyone said my outfit was "Parisian chic" I'd kiss them Grin

Shop family dramas, rain and illness

Maz well done on your weight loss.

Novice if only your collegues knew what you're really like Grin
