Continuing on from here.

Summer and holidays are coming, and the Voguettes will be more than ready!

All welcome and the more links the better but please don't mention House of Colour. Wink

How annoying shop. We have just bought an amazing new laundry basket with 3 compartments, I will finally have somewhere to put all my hand wash items! sad. You'll be able to get black jumpers all year round at Woolovers, see here, here and here. Ignore the crap styling and website, I think quality is meant to be good and it's cheap :) Plus some of them are unisex so should have good length sleeves.

Oh dear marsha feel better soon. Distractions are the way to go.

Beautiful dress mara, very you.

Today I've been to the garden centre and filled my hanging basket and planted some salad. Felt justified in slobbing the rest of the day and browsing for buys online :)

Self inflicted Marsha or genuine illness?
Will look at Woolover. reiss is too ££££ to replace GAP merino unfortunately

MarshaBrady · 30/05/2015 20:20

Not self inflicted, Vogue took five minutes to look at I may be posting a lot.

Our local garden shop closed, I used to go there nearly every weekend in summer to buy pretty things, I need to find another one.

QueenCardigan · 30/05/2015 20:28

marsha hope you're ok.
maz sometimes a rucksack is the only way. I often use one if its just me and dc as its just so much easier to carry all their crap. I looked last year for a nice one but couldn't find one so just use my practical North face.
fedup dh is at the cinema and I'm home alone with dc. Have had half a bottle of wine and trying not to drink the rest!!

Nipped into town earlier to get stuff for dd so had a quick mooch around. Nothing really took my fancy although I did get a vest (to replace my ones that have holes in) and a kaftan for holidays.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 30/05/2015 20:30

Hope all the ill Voguettes get better soon.

Annoying about the jumper Shop but I can vouch for Woolovers quality.

Lib sounds an awful experience, makes me angry men think they can get away with it.

Maz - what about this rucksack?

QueenCardigan · 30/05/2015 20:32

kaftan

MarshaBrady · 30/05/2015 20:49

QueenC what is your Dh seeing? I haven't been to the cinema for years.

Love the colour of this but the shape is probably better on some one else.

shopafrolic · 30/05/2015 20:49

Feel better soon Marsha. Fed up of feeling poorly here - it's completely ruined our week off together :(

Fedupnagging · 30/05/2015 20:53

Hope you both feel better soon Marsha and Shop.

Love hearing what you all are doing tonight. Am drinking a nice Chablis for a change as usually drink Sauvignon or viongnier. Queen, very difficult not to keep refreshing your glass if the wine is nice!

I decided that the only way I will get my hands on a mulberry bag short of selling a child winning the lottery, is to buy preloved. So, I found one that I liked and decided was genuine - then forgot to place a bid. It went for less than I was prepared to pay so feeling very frustrated grrr!

shopafrolic · 30/05/2015 21:05

ordered this one to try
and this

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2015 21:06

Quiet night in....social life start next week Smile

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2015 21:13

Hope you feel better soon Marsha.
MNV night in.Smile

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2015 21:17

Another will come up Fedup

OneLittleLady · 30/05/2015 21:23

hope you feel better son Shop and marsha

what a PITA about your sweater shop I hope you manage to find something suitable to replace it

Just struggled my way into the shower. feels so ridiculous the saftey measures I have to put in place just to have a shower. since i live alone, ihave to let someone know im going in, unlock the door and give them a time frame of how long to expect me to be and if i havent messaged by the end of that time, to call whoever can get here the quickest in case ive fallen and cant get up. makes me feel pretty pathetic tbh Sad

libertychick · 30/05/2015 21:38

That does sound like a total pita one.

OneLittleLady · 30/05/2015 21:49

it is lib but its the way it has to be. i'd rather feel silly doing it than have an accident and no one know i need help IYSWIM, also better than being able to shower unless soemones here with me which it's nto always possible for someone to be around when i exactly need them to be. its a real pain and makes me feel pretty crappy but better safe than sorry. it could be worse though, at least I am maintaining some level of independence, of sorts Smile

OneLittleLady · 30/05/2015 21:51

not being able to shower that should say*

libertychick · 30/05/2015 21:52

You are doing incredibly well one Smile

Fedupnagging · 30/05/2015 21:58

Saw these trousers on a mannequin the other day. I love wide legged trousers and weirdly, they seem to suit me even though I'm vertically challenged. Am tempted but waiting for the sales now.

One I hadn't realised the lengths you need to go to for your health. As Lib says what a pia!

Dry and Muddling how are your dc's doing with revision? Mine are driving me nuts!! Ds3 had a hangover lie in today, followed by the ps4 then the football. Is only now revising (in bed with phone and iPod) and Ds2 is 'multitasking' - playing on the x box, watching QI and working on an assignment that needs to be in on Monday. It's no wonder I drink Grin

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2015 23:04

Fedup there are books all over the house, all over his bedroom floor and all over the kitchen table. I'm totally manic about my house being tidy and it's driving me nuts.......but I'm trying to keep a lid on it until after exams finish.
He is revising every day.....half an hour at a time. BUT "revising" his way is interesting......headphones on Hmm then necessary relaxation time on PS4 or Netflix Hmm. over half way through. I have a feeling that he'll pull through ok though jammy

End 12 June.......THEN he's getting a list:

"Remove all items from kitchen. this means sort out, file or bin, NOT just make another pile
Decontaminate bedroom
Bin all the crap in the outside bin, not the Wesco
Dust and Hoover bedroom because I can't get in to do it because of the "book system" on the floor this means remove everything from shelves and dust under them as well as dusting them too
you have from 8am-3.30 to complete this task."
I read in Steve Bidalph's (sp?)"Raising Boys" that you need to be specific and give clear time scales Grin

Ha good one Dry, like your style.

Survived the night, feel a bit better this morning.

What's everyone up to today?

Fedupnagging · 31/05/2015 07:12

Hi Marsha, glad you're feeling a bit better.

I've been awake since 4.30 Sad so don't intend to do much today. Dh is hopefully going to clean the patio. Living on the edge in the fedup household!

Dry I've read that book too and ds3's post exam list is pretty much the same as your ds's although his last exam is a week later.

Ds3 and I were discussing his going to 6th form college...
Me:we'll need to buy you some new clothes
Ds3: just so you know Mum, I won't be wearing the same clothes 2 days in a row
Me Hmm

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2015 07:17

Oh no Fedup why so early? Or was it just couldn't get back to sleep thing.

Fedupnagging · 31/05/2015 07:22

Love this

Gorgeous

Backpack for Maz

Fedupnagging · 31/05/2015 07:26

Yes, just couldn't get back to sleep, so annoying. It's an age thing I think as a couple of friends are experiencing the same.
