Continuing on from here.

Summer and holidays are coming, and the Voguettes will be more than ready!

All welcome and the more links the better but please don't mention House of Colour. Wink

uttam

MyVegasBaby · 30/05/2015 10:05

Lovely links QueenC, I too wore my navy Ravello top out last night, my current favourite top! Love the Sportsmax top.
Liberty not a nice experience, as you say easier to deal with as you get older but totally unacceptable.
Dry I quite like the red patent loafers but think they'd look better with trousers. I'm still lasting after the red Gucci Mary Janes that QueenC linked recently.
So friends wedding today, enjoying a relax before getting ready and heading off. Looking forward to getting dressed up and drinking fizz!

maradesbois · 30/05/2015 12:23

Hello all,

Lib that's shocking, definitely report it as per the transport police article. Glad it wasn't worse.

MyVegasBaby enjoy the wedding, sounds fab.

QueenC great links, happy birthday to the king for tomorrow.

Shop hope you had a good night.

My ootd is bright blue skinny j brands that were too tight last summer (result!) and armor-lux breton with neutral tod's ballet flats that are past it but can't part with until I get a replacement. Interested to see what you go for Marsha.

Yesterday I spontaneously ordered this dress. Not very practical but love it and dsis said 'very me' so worth a try.

MarshaBrady · 30/05/2015 12:41

Mara I love that dress and would be very tempted if I didn't have to get flats first. I'm going in today so will take some pics.

Wish Liberty woukd hurry up and start presale. Maybe it'll be June 1st.

AmberNectarine · 30/05/2015 14:35

Top for dry

AmberNectarine · 30/05/2015 14:38

QueenC I LOVE that DKNY dress. About £400 too expensive but gorgeous nonetheless!

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2015 15:30

Mara I love that dress, think you could wear it a lot in the summer.

Spoilt for choice with the tops great work QueenC and Amber the YSL cream is perfect ofcourse Hmm
Uttam is my fav, then the MV pompom, then Warehouse (but the back Sad)

OneLittleLady · 30/05/2015 16:41

queenC I love the VW skirt, I can see myself wanting soemthing liek that for graduation (eeek)

scored a few nice bits and bobs int he charity shop from the pound rail, a nice short black blazer, a sugarhill boutique blouse and a ted baker cardigan. not bad for a pound each i dont think. two of them are even BNWT!

shopafrolic · 30/05/2015 16:58

DH did the washing today as I was ill. He has shrunk my black crew neck merino sweater! Anyone know where I can find one at this time of year?

Drywhiteplease · 30/05/2015 17:59

Damn Shop, have had quick look at Uniqlo and Boden, none there, will keep looking.

Fedupnagging · 30/05/2015 18:30

How frustrating Shop. How about this tippi?. Has 3/4 sleeves which I love but you night not be so keen.

Lovely links Queen. The bottega bag would be perfect in navy. The navy l/s blouse would be perfect to go with a couple of pairs of crops I have too but still not spending.

Lib how you get on with the M&S coat?

Well done for your DB One, that is good news.

mazj4cks · 30/05/2015 19:17

Hi ladies,
What do you think to backpacks? I'm thinking about getting one for our UK holiday as it will be easier when we're out walking about, especially with the kids, having both arms free will be handy.
But I just can't decide between a smart looking one, and classic style one (practical) or a boho style one? I don't really want to spend a lot either as I don't know how much I'd wear it any other time.

libertychick · 30/05/2015 19:22

How annoying Shop does it have to be merino?

Fedup I had it delivered to local M&S and haven't managed to get in there yet - hopefully tomorrow.

shopafrolic · 30/05/2015 19:26

Doesn't have to be merino - but natural fibres. Needs to be long sleeved. SO gutted as GAP do Tall range so the sleeves were good an long. Might have to wait till AW but I wear it all the time. Now of course he is using it as an excuse never to wash again Hmm
Whistles had some good backpacks Maz and Iris & Ink on the Outnet. But they may be more ££ than you wanted to spend.

Fedupnagging · 30/05/2015 19:45

How about this Reis cotton/wool blend Shop?

I think rucksacks are a good idea Maz - I used a cheap plain black leather one with silver hardware when dc's were younger til I made them carry their own. Some nice ones around atm.

What is everyone up to tonight? We're home - dh about to light the fire pit and I'm about to open wine.

mazj4cks · 30/05/2015 19:50

Thanks shop
Love that middle one but no way could afford it!
That's the thing I'm finding though...I'm looking all over the net and the ones that catch my eye are £150+ and I was only really looking to spend up to £50 as wanting new trainers, some new makeup bits, espadrilles (yes still searching!) and the kids need loads of new bits for hol too!
Aswell as the car needing service, 2 new tyres and tax all in 1 mth!! Confused Angry

mazj4cks · 30/05/2015 19:53

We've spent the day at the seaside today so I'm wiped from all the fresh sea air!! So chilled night on the sofa for us!
Today also made me realise more that a backpack will be handy as I wore the changing bag across the body but every time you go to do something it swung round, getting in my way!

shopafrolic · 30/05/2015 19:59

Some good espadrilles in New Look Maz. Striped, with ties at ankle.
Staying in here Fedup full of cold :( Thanks for the link. Will take a look.

shopafrolic · 30/05/2015 20:03

tie espadrilles
striped in multiple colours

MarshaBrady · 30/05/2015 20:06

What a pita Shop, nothing worse. Dh is not allowed near my washing anymore. He can do his own of course as long as he separates precisely enough

Maz car stuff is always annoying.

I'm in a bad way so sent dh to shops for pain killers just in case, Vogue magazine, a book, pin, fb and you guys. I'm loading up on distractions.
