Does late August work for anybody?

Ahem, have not actually got the job, obvs. Just a sort of interviewish sort of arrangement. Do not hold your breath. :) But it is really uplifting to know that there is possible work out there. I think I will just need to be braver than I was planning on being. :) Off to bed now. Early start tomorrow. Only a few more of these, mind. June the 23rd is the official finish date and only 2 more juicy assignments to complete (and a shedload of loose ends to tie up).

I have probably forgotten loads of things, but DH is getting ready for his op tomorrow and I am having mauling thoughts, so can't concentrate too much on what I have just read. Oh, have just remembered that Monty is off to Majorca shortly - have a lovely time and enjoy a paella for me.

Thanks, Crepeys. DH has to be on the ward by 7.30, I will stay with him for a short while and then home to look after DD's two DC for the rest of the day so I will have plenty to keep me occupied! DD said she would take the day off so I didn't have to have the DC, but it will help me. My DSoniL works from home so there is no pressure on me.

Today I am teaching a woman only class this morning, and then to the theatre to teach a group for HerrD

I am home and DH was in a fetching printed robe when I left. Waiting for DGC to come and help take my mind off things. I have to ring after 2. I did have a little weep in the car on the way home. DH has agreed to take part in a research project re medication afterwards - something to do with aspirin (there was a recent report in the media about it) which will entail monthly visits to the research department. Nurse almost fell on his neck when he said he would take part.

Good for NuDH, it can be difficult to recruit people. I hope the time passes quickly for you today NU and you have a nice time with DGC.

NU I very much hope all went well at admissions this morning for dh. It's quite stressful just checking in. Hand holding with you during the wait.

Late August would be good for a MU for me, hattie. Results day is 13 Aug and after that, nothing scheduled at present. I imagine others' results days are similar, and you are meant to be within reach of the school on those days, so you can fully panic.

GCSE results day is 20th Aug, gulp!
