Evening gorgeous people.

Gin lemon grenadine and club soda -recipe

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2015 19:33

Bettyk I meant to say when you posted, I think you'd look ace in a Zarita. Do you have a colour in mind?

Sounds nice Muddling

LinusDKD · 03/05/2015 19:35

Yum muddling

Oh I don't think I saw that shop! Great minds indeed.

Cranagh · 03/05/2015 19:38

MyVegasBaby was it you looking for silver sandals? Question Air have put the ones I bought online now, these

I felt sorry for the OP on the posh thread, she didn't phrase her question well.

Hey Shopster

I was in JL today a mass of indecision as Lancome (insert accent, impossible) have a gift, lots of things if you get two and more stuff if you get three. One thing I wanted was £69 Dream tone stuff. Felt too much so left it.

Question - small one: when you see the free gifts like that at beauty counter do you buy more to get them?

Cranagh · 03/05/2015 19:52

Yes, Marsha, I am a sucker for the "free" gifts!

OneLittleLady · 03/05/2015 19:53

I think I have an eyeshadow addiction. Blush I have so many palettes, duos right through to a dozen in size. I do use them all every single colour has been used at least once but I don't tend to wear say, black eyeshadow everyday no longer really goth i don't need to buy anymore for a long long time now.

have cleared out some more clothes, mostly things that don't quite fit right or i've found the fabric isn't great and makes me sweat a lot. will let my sister pick through and take what she wants before the bags go to the charity shop. also, I have a serious tee addiction, I have three, yes THREE drawers full of them and they aren't small drawers either Blush in fairness though, some of them are years and years old and I'm going to move some of them to my memory box, tees from a different time that I don't tend to wear these days as I get overwhelmed with nostaliga and end up feeling sad that I don't have the same friend filled, fun life any more Sad

I too felt a bit sad for the op on the 'posh clothes' thread. I thinks he just phrased what she wanted badly. I really felt for her after she said she'd been having a rough time and could totally sympathize when she said she'd been having health issues. I think there was a lot of over reaction and slyness to some of the responses the op got.

OneLittleLady · 03/05/2015 19:58

she not he!

muddlingalongquitenicely · 03/05/2015 20:01

Was going to try a bramble cocktail but they had run out of blackcurrent liqueur Sad

shopafrolic · 03/05/2015 20:05

I used to get sucked in by the freebies Marsha but I'm better now. Off to google Dreamtone stuff

shopafrolic · 03/05/2015 20:06

I have some Visionnaire that I didn't get on with if you'd like it Marsha

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 03/05/2015 20:07

I didn't buy it, please say I was right to walk away £69 richer. (or not poorer rather)

So expensive! I wish I had posted from JL now. I kept walking round the store trying to decide.

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2015 20:11

How come you didn't like it Shop? I need one that reduces redness first. Apparently the dreamtone does. I put some on and asked dh if I had changed colour. A bit jaundiced he said. All charm!

Cranagh glad it's not just me, they were handing out loads of stuff.

shopafrolic · 03/05/2015 20:15

LOL. PM me your address. I'll send it to you to try

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2015 20:20

ok cool. I swapped a huge eye make up remover -it's always that with Lancome - for more night cream, so have loads of that, if you want any?

shopafrolic · 03/05/2015 20:26

Sounds like a deal

i found lancome creams brought me out in spots. still using my cheapie superdrug own brand vit e cream as it helps my dry skin and doesnt give me spots. i have bought some serum though, a loreal youth code one and that combined with the vit e cream is really sorting out my super dry skin

Karbea · 03/05/2015 21:12

one I found lancome the same. I started using Nivea last year when I was economising my skin cleared up. Recently I got something else, can't remember the brand... Anyway spots again, so I've re bought the Nivea.

Karbea · 03/05/2015 21:15

marsha I'll often buy two of the same thing to get the gift, but I normally give the gifts to my mum as she likes them.

BrandyAlexander · 03/05/2015 21:48

Evening lovely people! It's been an eventful weekend to say the least.

Marsha I sent you a whatsapp!

Dry I am posh and v occasionally wear pearls..... I was a walking cliché in my 20s and 30s! I will do an aibu myself.Grin

The posh thread is odd. I don't recognise half the stuff that I should wear, so my conclusion I am not actually posh.??

MyVegasBaby · 03/05/2015 21:51

Thanks Cranagh but the link just takes me to the home page.

Not silver or black but these are cute orange

I'm a real sucker for free stuff and sale stuff, have tried to reign it in to avoid lots of things I don't really need.
