I adore espadrilles genetic. Agree with Shop though, if they get wet they've had it, and I've seen how cheap they are in Fr Basque Country. Still mourn my Saxone black wedge pair that laced round my ankle. Stella M has done exactly the style this year but £££

I am confused and fed up. 2 makeup artists told me today that I suit cooler shades. Someone got marked down for agreeing with me that I like a reddy-coral statement lip, as apparently a cooler shade would have been better Anyway, this is just a rant as I must have moaned about HoC more than anyone else on here. But I do wonder if I'm on the cusp of spring and winter and whether it's all completely pointless.

Can you go back to your consultant with this info Blair - after all, I was misdiagnosed......

Blair HoC seems to cause no end of grief....did you agree with their colour recommendations?

V exciting marsha having a net a p car! Decorating is going well. I'm hoping to finish tomorrow as I have dd at home Thursday/Friday and then we're away for a few days. The carpet's coming on 2 June so I can use the end of next week to finish if needs be but I'd rather not.

Really pissed off with this weather. I'm having to pack so much stuff to cover all eventualities (3 days with inlaws up north and 2 days in East anglia with friends).

Best buy recently - Oh how I love my red Office lace up flats. My pink Boden cashmere is also good - the neck is right for me.

Will add a question - what would you buy on repeat if it got damaged / worn out?
For me it is the Goldsign Lures - I don't think I can live without them now. Helmut Lang leathers - so much better than the Joseph ones, and Acne Pistols.

I was thinking of wearing black, white and grey for a week and then my spring colours the following week, to see if I get any comments.

Yup queenC weather is crap. Today we had heat, sun, cold, hail, rain and wind. Layers are the answer I guess!

What would I rebuy? - am about to repurchase worn out H&M skinny black trousers. Also a navy lace pencil skirt if I could find one. I need to reheel my pistols before next winter, but hopefully I won't need to replace them before they become uncool! Jeans no, as there are always new styles.

blair what colour do you feel most amazing in? In fact, anyone can answer this. For me it's most definitely navy, cobalt or Chinese blue (sort of turquoise but not quite). Good idea to try a counter and just let them decide.

That's a really good question. I think the answer is red, not even necessarily a slightly orangey red, but just plain old primary red.

Might try a few counters, as I'm starting to think it's completely subjective! (at least for me) or, buy 2 cheap red lipsticks that are warm/cool and wear both for a few days?! Is that crazy?

I have a pair of perfect black trousers for me from Mint Velvet 2 winters ago. Bought a second pair in the sale. Wear loads for everything. Keep one pair for going out, the other for everyday. When they die I'll be devestated.

Does anyone else hate tops where the front is lovely but the back us just plain Jersey? I really hate that.

Shop those shoes are definitely dramatic, sounds like HOC diagnosis was spot on.

Blair fab Chanel haul and boo to your HOC diagnosis and like Dry I think that's the reason I like living in ignorant bliss, I wear gold and silver, white and cream, I break all the colour rules the only colours I don't wear are pastels as even I can see they make me look ill.

Summer stuff - I'm trying to be true to my plain form of dressing so a Lacoste polo dress and some Lacoste polo shirts. I'm trying my best not to go off key this summer.

Best buys, my black LKB Florissa's which I love, my leopard flats which I love and wear a lot, my Boden coatigans which are being worn daily atm.

Repeat buys, ACNE Pistols, even at full price I wore then to death this winter, my black Le Pliage and I will definitely buy black Florissa's again.

Oops missed off QueenCs question colour I feel best is black I love wearing my black Pixie pants, black Tippi and leopard flats. In my mind I look put together. It's not something I wear a lot as I feel it can make me look a bit severe. I wear orange a lot in s/s and I think this colour suits me.

Another question from me

What outfit makes you feel really kick ass, i.e. you look in the mirror and say to yourself I can take on the world today!

Sounds like you had a great day Blair but annoying about the colours. I think wearing different ones for a week sounds like a good plan or getting a rediagnosis. Is there a head office you could go to and say you're not satisfied with eitehr your style or colour so would like a differnt consultant?

Summer sales - not much, still got no job
Summer stuff - a beach cover up - I like this Sea Folly one but it's ££ so maybe this grey one? I'd like a pair of decent shorts, maybe some new birkies/Toms and a couple of tops.
Best recent buy are my Stan Smiths, they've been working hard in this in between weather.
Best colour - I love red but actually really suit dark green - so must thank HoC for that one.

Kick Ass - tricky. I like it when I wear something that is a bit different, quirky, stands out. It's normally a dress or skirt. There's a & Other Stories black silk midi dress I bought last year that I always feel great in and get complimented when I wear.

Oh forgot to say Asos are having 60% off beachwear - they've got quite a few high end bikinis half price - Sea Folly & Melissa Odabash.

I feel so rotten, I'm on my way to the hospital after my drs appointment this morning for a kidney scan. the infection just isnt shifting and its been over 3 weeks now and 3 lots of ABs so they are understandably concerned. not what i needed when i've so much work to be doing

Painting is sooo dull. I'm bored and still 3 walls to go!

Kick ass would probably be how I look rather than what I'm wearing. So if im at my ideal weight and feeling slim, eyelashes tinted, eyebrows shapely, no spots and hair not desperate for a cut. I.e the complete opposite of how I am at the moment!! Eyes and hair booked for next week though. Hoping skin will settle now period had finished and need to lose the weight from my menstrual binge!!
obe sorry you're still suffering. Sounds like you may need intravenous abs?
