Evening, I think I can make the MU.

mazj4cks · 13/05/2015 18:56

Hey am I crazy to love this I love things a little quirky but can't decide if its a bit too much?! Grin

mazj4cks · 13/05/2015 18:57

shopafrolic · 13/05/2015 18:59

You'd look great in that Maz

Thanks Hun. I showed it to dh and normally he'd be the first one to say "no way!" But he was like "yeah that's alright!" So I know it can't be too "woah!" Smile

LinusDKD · 13/05/2015 19:26

Evening!

That's a lovely dress maz

dry I finally used your Asos voucher and ordered this

It says it's a beach dress but depending on how thin it is, I might wear it as a normal dress on hot days.

LinusDKD · 13/05/2015 19:28

Oh and I also ordered this

Maybe a bit too boho for me but I really like that kind of shirt in summer.

MarshaBrady · 13/05/2015 19:52

Really nice Linus and Maz, very pretty.

Having a look at the outnet - I don't get their notifications anymore even though I've asked again, why. And saw this cat jumper thought of One.

BrandyAlexander · 13/05/2015 20:26

Hurrah Marsha!

Dry saw these dvf shoes and thought of you.

Drywhiteplease · 13/05/2015 20:39

Adore the shoes Novice
linus can see you in the dress and shirt, great buys.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 13/05/2015 20:47

Love that jacket Shop and also the top linked for QueenC - boo to NAP's inflated prices though.

QueenC* I own more winter than summer stuff and I tend never to renew my summer clothes as I just wear them for a few months a year.

I much prefer winter clothes though.

Topazandpearl · 13/05/2015 21:07

I hope to make the mu, but am still a maybe. We are putting off making holiday plans due to possible house-move.

I am with you Bernice on the winter clothes, I find them much easier to buy and wear than summer clothes.

These white Paige jeans have arrived but are going back. I have them in dark denim and really like them, but the white are not flattering Sad.

This jumper is also going back. It is too heavy for summer and too cream rather than ivory.

Drywhiteplease · 13/05/2015 21:12

Yippee....I'm booked for the MU Grin after past experiences I may have to put a sign like Paddington round my neck "please return this Voguette up North"

I prefer winter clothes but if you include work stuff I guess it's 50/50 for me.

OneLittleLady · 13/05/2015 21:18

I love love love that cat jumper marsha

I can't book MU tickets until I know what else is happening over summer, I will try to find ASAP though

Kidney infection is still running wild, have had to have another prescription for stronger ABs as it's just not getting any better. Really hoping these ones work because i feel pretty wiped out but I've no time to be ill right now, too much to do. I'm sat bundled up in pjs, big dressing gown, slippers, big fluffy blanket and wheat heat thing. still feel cold

MyVegasBaby · 13/05/2015 21:19

Fleeting visit! Work ridiculoulsy busy, absolutely shattered. ASOS Oder arrived on Monday and remains unopened that's how bad it is!
Love all the links, especially Shop's red shoes, Maz' spotty dress and Linus' white dress.
Put together a new outfit today, dark pink and White breton with jeans, grey jersey blazer and grey converse, received compliments at work and From DH when I got home so will wear it again.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/05/2015 22:18

Sounds nice vegas!

One that is rubbish, hope they work but don't try to do too much.

Saw this top and thought it would look nice on Dry

Think my clothes are 50/50. At the start of S/S or A/W I'm excited to start dressing differently and buying new stuff, but by the end I'm fed up with it. Right now it's nice not wearing black opaques! But by the height of summer I will be wishing for cooler weather. Spring and autumn are the best.

OneLittleLady · 13/05/2015 22:28

hmm, I wouldn't say i've got a strong leaning towards summer clothes, mostly because a lot of my clothes are darker colours so would generally be associated with colder months. I do have some more summery items, but they are few and far between, i tend to feel cold a lot fo the time so cardigans are a year round thing for me no matter how warm it is outside, for example. All but the most strappy of vests and sundresses get used by me year round if i'm honest, it's usually just the tights and shoes that change

Drywhiteplease · 13/05/2015 22:38

YupBlair I love that top. V me.

If anyone wants a good chuckle this Wednesday evening, read Pink's birth story
I love Pink, because she's always so perfect and it's always sunny and beautiful in her world, and her home is HUGE and perfect, and she looks about 21, and she goes bare legged in snow, and wears heels all the time, never has chipped nails, always wears matchy lipstick........even when giving birthGrin:

False lashes
Lips done
Drew deserves a medal foe allowing himself to be photographed with that hat on Grin, and has scary teeth.
The baby I sweet, but how the heck did they get the bow to stay on....double sided sticky tape Hmm
And her family is gorgeous.......but thank Gid for Dad, he's had a few too many Big Macs anfpd looks normal/spoils the pictures Grin

Wish I'd made more of an effort myself........

QueenCardigan · 13/05/2015 22:43

Love that dress maz and the stuff you've ordered linus.

I love winter clothes too but I think that msybe the sorts of tops and blouses I like are around in the shops more in the summer than winter.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/05/2015 22:50

Dry you can get glue for bows apparently, and she isn't much older than 21! The family pic they did a week after her C section is insane: here

I did think the birth story was sweet though :)

Drywhiteplease · 13/05/2015 22:58

Good grieBlair, that picture Grin.....is she a pseudo royal?

libertychick · 13/05/2015 23:26

Sweet birth story, I HATE that bow - new borns do not need embellishment. The pictures of her with top rolled up and monitors on just before the c-section made me laugh as I have a similar sets of pics of myself just before my c-section and needless to say it's a very different vibe bigger tummy, no make up, seriously panicked expression, mismatched PJs etc

And my word her fella has a spectacular set of teeth Grin

OneLittleLady · 13/05/2015 23:39

if i'd looked half as good as that before my c-section, i'd be happy. Instead I was panicked, wild eyed and alone. Also, I forgot to take my pants off before my epidural ( I had to walk waddle from the ward to the theatre and there was a mixed sex urology ward I had to pass) so it was a little embarrassing to be laid there numb from the chest down with my arms across my chest while the very good looking, male theatre nurse had to try and get them off me Grin Blush

QueenCardigan · 14/05/2015 07:23

Pass me the sick bucket. I found the birth story nauseating rather than sweet Grin. And the bow is hideous!

LinusDKD · 14/05/2015 08:14

Morning!

Was it foxy who was apoplexic every time Pinkpeonies was mentioned? Grin

I actually don't mind her as she seems genuinely sweet but I don't really read her blog as that kind of perfection doesn't appeal to me.

I do mind the bow though, they are vulgar. (Yes, I know I sound like my DM now but I don't care)

DD got mistaken for a boy all the time when she was little but that was probably because she wore her older brother's blue pj's and rompersuits. Wink. I didn't mind one bit.
