Fab links Dry! Love the DVF top.

Lib I am on for the 18th, thanks :)

libertychick · 12/05/2015 21:40

Ok - for the 18th I have the following:

Dry, Shop, Sleep, Blair, One, Amber, QueenC, Novice, Fedup and me (10)

No: Linus, Betty, Cranagh Sad Sad Sad

Maybe: Marsha, Topaz

Anyone else - all welcome Smile, Smile PM me or post here if you want to be included

So time to be dictatorial!! I'll book a central London venue this Friday afternoon using the numbers I have then. There won't be a problem adding on extra if needed I'm sure and there are always a few who can't make it at the last minute. It will be a lunch time gathering. I'll pick the venue (see really, really bossy!!!) but I haven't time for a debate on it. Will probably go with a place that has worked previously - will ensure it's budget friendly and has bubbles available!! If anyone would like to do something different then let me know and I will happily hand over the organiser reins Grin

shopafrolic · 12/05/2015 21:49

Sounds awesome lib Thanks

Brilliant you're a star Lib sounds perfect. Will be on holiday dates asap

MarshaBrady · 12/05/2015 22:21

I mean sorting them out.

BrandyAlexander · 12/05/2015 22:25

gah lost a post!

Thank you for the jacket links! I am sure the lurkers thank you too. Grin

Karbea · 12/05/2015 22:26

What month is the meet?

justasecond · 12/05/2015 22:26

I'm afraid I won't be able to make the mu (again) but with good reason as it will probably be Eid that day.

Bernice I am 5ft 7 not that tall but have long legs which means the trousers are mid calf when turned up but just about ankle grazer when not. I have bought the next size up to see if they are better on the length but have not had a chance to try on yet. The black without rips would be good too as they are a good shape and fit.

Karbea · 12/05/2015 22:26

The jackets were lovely, I'd really like one darker though :(

libertychick · 12/05/2015 22:33

Karbea 18th July for meet up.

Justa sorry it's not a good date for you - we will meet eventually!!

Drywhiteplease · 12/05/2015 22:46

liberty yippee.......will book. My ticket tomorrow. You're a star, thank you Thanks Star

bettykt · 13/05/2015 06:51

Don't mess with The Lib Grin

Really hope I get to make the next one Sad

Haven't had chance to check out your links yet Dry am still in bed contemplating getting up.

Oh no Novice where the jackets all sold out by the time you saw them?

LinusDKD · 13/05/2015 07:14

Morning!

Love that Fendi dress you linked yesterday dry

lib sounds like you have everything under control re MU. Wink

It'll be the first day of our holidays so I'll definitely drink a glass of bubbles in your honour.

OOTD is white skinnies, breton and Tod's. I feel and look a bit too like a cliché so I'll probably change something later.

Fedupnagging · 13/05/2015 08:08

Sorry, but I can't make the MU - like Linus I'll be on holiday. Maybe we can synchronise watches Linus and drink a toast at the same time?!

Gorgeous links last night Dry, especially love the Erdem dress.

Am currently watching cbeebies with a 3yo - crikey, those colours are so bright my eyes are hurting!

Ootd was going to be white jeans and a Breton but now worried I'll be a walking cliche Wink

libertychick · 13/05/2015 09:25

Grin at Fedup's sore eyes! I am really sorry, I thought the 18th worked for you Sad

OOTD, working from home and sun is shining so wearing Me & Em dress. Will add M&S sandals when I pop out later.

Karbea · 13/05/2015 09:39

Got dressed at 530 so I'm wearing a stripped MK blue and white shirt (I had to get this out of the throw away pile as I've lots of clothes with my ironing man and some in an ironing pile!), blue jbrand skinnies and my primark espadrilles.

BrandyAlexander · 13/05/2015 09:40

Morning!

I have ordered the Precis Petite jacket that Betty linked. Thanks and the Miss Selfridges one that I originally linked as I thought best to try it. All the other sizes had run out and they only had one left in a 6. (JL should give me sales commissionHmm). Also tried a black oasis jacket (yes that's off pisteBlush). Will try the second Zara one that Lib linked too. Love the Valentino that Dry linked but I would wear that with jeans rather than a dress. v tempting though! Grin Thanks to you all. Any more ivory/cream jackets/blazers let me know!

QueenCardigan · 13/05/2015 10:29

Morning. Thanks for organising lib. I've checked my trains and they're not as cheap as I'd like. Contemplating whether I should just book or hold out...

Haven't had a chance to look at links yet butbnovice, surely you need the goat dress to go with your jacket Wink

QueenCardigan · 13/05/2015 10:30

Ooh meant to say that from August we will be able to order from the madewell site. I didn't realise that it was the little sister of j crew.

shopafrolic · 13/05/2015 10:42

That's fab news about Madewell Smile

Hello, I'm having lunch with Aussie rellies - as they say - on the 18th but may be able to pop in for a drink on the way home if you're still going so keep me in the loop please Lib.
No fashion news, but am still thinking about Shops red shoes.

BrandyAlexander · 13/05/2015 11:20

Love that shop but I'm being very good and not buying anymore summer clothes apart from some very cheap tops/dresses for holiday that I wont care if they get ruined by suncream. I may even come just for lunch at the meet up rather than my usual shopping spree to avoid temptation!

Do you own more summer or winter clothes? I've realised that I have loads of summer tops(but blouse things so not suitable for the beach), far more than winter tops. Definitely need to do more shopping in the winter Grin.
