[Grin] Fed up, hope you're not too wretched this morning.

Welcome back Karbea. I think all of Hush comes up big. I always take XS there and would be 8-10 in real life. I think you're more petite than me so you may struggle.

Out for dinner for a friend's birthday in hipster central (Dalston) tonight. I'm not sure what to wear, maybe my green midi again or flares, but they are high waisted and tight so better on a night when I'm not eating!

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/05/2015 07:53

Morning ladies!

what a week just catching up with the posts this is my first chance to sit and relax.

QueenCardigan · 09/05/2015 08:08

Morning. How's the head fedup?
I'm so looking forward to a child free night! Just need to get my are into gear and get the washing and housework done and a run before I go.

shopafrolic · 09/05/2015 08:11

Muddling not sure where you're based but a call to Bicester to see if they have one might be worth a shot
Morning all. DH is at his laptop working Hmm this does not bode well for a relaxing weekend

Great idea shop Bicester isn't that far from me as well.

So I need advice I bought a pair of flat pumps from Debenhams and they are just a bit tight so have researched how to stretch them and will try later on (they are a cheapish pair so I'm not too bothered if they are ruined) but the soles are just so hard they just don't bend when I walk.

I feel like i am just slapping my feet down flat with every step, and I think that's hurting my feet more than the slight tightness in the sizing. Any advice on making the soles more supple or are all flats like this?

Fedupnagging · 09/05/2015 08:32

Slight ache in the head department this morning but nothing that a coffee (currently in hand) and a dog walk won't cure.

A child free night is just what you need Queen so enjoy. Are you going away?

Muddling I love the daria hobo - often look longingly at them when I pass them in JL. may also stroke one lovingly

I still haven't bought a bucket bag, my favourite is this one but am dithering as am also after a Natasha and can't really get both

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/05/2015 08:40

love the Natasha bag fedup when I last went to Bicester DH was in Fossil looking at watches and I wandered round looking at the bags they have quite a collection in there, and I never realised they made bags until then!

QueenCardigan · 09/05/2015 10:10

Yes I'm away fedup/. Expect a prosecco fuelled headache in the morning!
muddling if they hurt that much id return them. If you're after a cheap pair try next or sainsburys as I found comfortable ones there but they didn't last sadly.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/05/2015 10:12

I tried to return them but they said i had worn them outside so no refund.

mazj4cks · 09/05/2015 10:35

Last minute shopping trip on today's agenda to get dh a suit for tonight!! We've known about this charity ball since feb!! So we're off to Bicester! Grin

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/05/2015 10:43

Im trying to get through to the mulberry shop in Bicester!!

Karbea · 09/05/2015 10:52

We should do a Bicester meet! Grin

Fedupnagging · 09/05/2015 11:11

Anyone fancy this!

Am a recent convert to fossil bags - good quality and reasonable prices.

Last time I went to Biscester on a Saturday it was a nightmare so good luck maz.

Have a lovely time Queen still hopes for Sunday am links

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/05/2015 11:53

After listening to the phone message properly they only have a telephine service 10-6 week days so i will have to wait Sad

QueenCardigan · 09/05/2015 12:01

I'll have to see if I can get internet at my friends fefup. If not they'll be Sunday evening links instead. I love my fantasy shopping.
muddling if you stretch them a bit how about trying an insole?

mazj4cks · 09/05/2015 13:11

Done!! Managed to get parked fine, in Hugo boss, suit bought and quick look around for a black tie and back to the car!! If we had more time I could have looked round for me but the ball starts at 6 tonight, we've not had lunch and live about an hour away from here! Confused

QueenCardigan · 09/05/2015 13:33

Is it windy with everyone else? It makes it feel so cold. I've decided that I need a lightweight cotton type scarf. Preferably cobalt but definitely a block colour. Any ideas where from? I've looked at netaporter, John Lewis, hobbs, jaegar, dressing room, atterly rd, Cos, other stories, accesorise, zara and j crew. Where else should I look?

Drywhiteplease · 09/05/2015 14:04

Fedup hope you're ok.

I'm feeling snug......started on the prosecco at 4.30 yesterday with work mates. Determined not to have a bad head today could have not drunk prosecco so I drank loads of water and had a cuppa before going to bed............no headache Grin

OneLittleLady · 09/05/2015 14:05

it's cold here QueenC and it looks like it will rain at some point this afternoon. I'm indoors working on breaking my boots in again, they are coming along but still wont be able to wear them outdoors for a while yet.

OOTD is a black shawl collar full skirted dress. feel like I should be twirling a lot in it

libertychick · 09/05/2015 14:30

What about this Kettlewell stole in Royal blue or Iris QueenC?

BerniceBobsHerHair · 09/05/2015 15:11

BerniceBobsHerHair · 09/05/2015 15:37

QueenC I've had my eye on this for ages:

Jigsaw scarf

Love the colour.

shopafrolic · 09/05/2015 15:47

QUeenC I have a solid cobalt scarf that Linus sent to me that I don't seem to be wearing - I'm beginning to think scarves are not really me...... would you like to try it? this one

OP posts:
Karbea · 09/05/2015 15:58

That's a fab colour.

It's nice here, dh and I are power washing the patio.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 09/05/2015 16:53

shop I agree scarves are tricky for some CPs, they are so drapey and not very dramatic. You could try a skinny scarf, might be more you? I wouldn't wear a pashmina either, I wouldn't feel right with the fringy bits.

Bernice thank you! I think I might need to get a few of those, I wear the one I have lots.

I would feel smug too Dry, that's a result!

We've had a shit day for various reasons, but have just bought a new TV which DH is setting up. Not my idea but it does look nice. Our old one was 7 years old, is that a good enough reason to replace or not? Hmm
